ParticipantAbout “tunnels”… speaking of rhetoric…well, bullchit… Noting that soil under Gaza zone is not solid rock, (looks more like aged dunes) assume big buildings are heavy…and the soils do not support…this means that building necessarily have basement foundations. These create buoyant moment, as otherwise building would sink… it’s really basic (no pun!). Obviously the basement must be hollow and a “honeycomb” or grid, more or less. Now then, this forms useful space… and it is a hospital… 😉 All big buildings have tunnels, more or less, no matter where they are built, with rare exception for rock. A few jerry cans is a joke. A fair guess for the minimum requirement would be in the ball-park of 1,500 gallons per 24 hours.
Tank truck might carry 5,000 gallons.
The riggers and mechanics must be exhausted trying to cope.
Note that typically these machines are for emergency….they may run for years but they’re not really designed to do that… The design assumption is that the mains power will ordinarily be hot, and the EDG’s will test run perhaps 30 minutes on a 30 day schedule.
I assume the hospital will have no significant electrical power until after the war. The “delivery” video of a few cans is a cruel insult, and they know it.
