Comrades Nixon and Brar have charming chat…”So, if you understand we’re in a global economic crisis, and the imperialists have no way out other than war, they need to expand for territories and markets.
Of course, that means their targets are the countries that have broken free. It’s the sovereign countries that are being the most demonized and the most targeted.
On the one hand, there’s that need to grab those territories and get hold of those markets and raw materials, and all the rest of it, to try to reset profitability. Getting their hands on the wealth of those countries would be a huge reset for the crisis-ridden global capitalist economies.
But then there’s also the need to destroy men and materials on an industrial scale. Accumulated wealth must be destroyed so that demand can start to come back into the economy and people start to need things again.
The combination of needing to rebuild and getting an injection of somebody else’s wealth to address the massive deficits, the debts, and the general crisis of overproduction in the global capitalist economy is really imperative.
So war and imperialism inevitably go together. There is no second way to escape this constant cycle of global warfare without getting rid of imperialism. And that means, ultimately, without getting rid of capitalism. Imperialism is just capitalism at its global monopoly stage.
It’s not something about people being mean in foreign affairs. It’s not a policy that you can change. It’s an imperative at a certain level of development of the productive forces.
A small national market is simply not big enough to absorb the output of these huge monopoly concerns. They need global markets, and even those start to become not big enough, because that’s the way capital works.
It doesn’t work according to a human logic. It works according to the logic of capital itself—the logic of capital accumulation and concentration. That creates its own laws and imperatives that the capitalist, the owners of capital, the owners of these monopoly corporations, the owners of the hedge funds and banks, have to follow in order to continue to run this system.
They have to think for their capital and as their capital.
So the war machine is an inevitable part of it. The crisis is getting worse right in front of us. We know this. We see the signs of impending economic collapse in so many directions: the massive indebtedness of countries, of corporations, of people.”

Hitler’s Speech Blaming Everything on Communism….https://www.nationalists.org/library/hitler/speeches/hitler-speech-sep14-1936.html

    and!

“Speaker Johnson Says He Needs $350 BILLION To Fight Communism In America!

The recent resurgence of Cold War-style red-baiting isn’t just coming from Donald Trump — now House Speaker Mike Johnson is pushing for $350 billion in additional Pentagon funding under the pretext of fighting “communism on our own shores” following recent DSA primary victories. Guest host Russell Dobular and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger argue this rhetoric is a deliberate distraction from worsening material conditions, noting that the U.S. now ranks 28th in median wealth—below Israel—while China has lifted 800 million people out of poverty under its own system.

They point out that if communism truly “never works,” there would be no need to spend trillions overthrowing socialist nations or sanctioning them, exposing the fear as elite panic over losing control. The segment concludes that the real threat to the establishment is growing curiosity about alternative systems as Americans face declining living standards and a rigged economy.” (veritanuda@veritanuda, Locals)

Near the conclusion the matter of why some, and not some others, “hate Russia” is addressed. I myself have read Canadian boys, young fellows, discussing their grandfather’s lessons – they were taught hatred and taught to be ready to “get even” with Russia for defeating them… these grandfathers having been in the defeated nazi armies of WW2.  Also writer  Ivan Ilyin  (Wikipedia) is spoken of toward the end of Weltwoche.

That stuff about emperors made the fellas at the Dew Drop Inn start talking about the last Kraut emperor, little Willie with the fubar’d arm…and that got me to thinking about how he got de-emperored by the Kraut revolution that followed the armistice…and that took me to the Swiss (for an unknown reason) https://youtu.be/XhdHyd3DUxE  Die Weltwoche and Comrade Vladimir Solovyov, who’s been 86’d by the nazis in media… In fact they say he’s on double secret probation…and probably on the not secret nazi whack list…ahduhno… Kool cat, ahem like ‘im… 😉  Mostly in English, but I dig the Swiss Kraut accent.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Solovyov_(TV_presenter)

    > In March 2022, YouTube blocked his channel Solovyov Live. Since then, he was assigned the TV channel frequency of the news channel Euronews, which Russia banned after the invasion of Ukraine. Since the start of the war, Solovyov has repeatedly pushed disinformation and conspiracy theories denigrating Ukraine and justifying the invasion and subsequent Russian war crimes.[d] On air, he frequently calls for Ukraine and all of its allies to be destroyed.[18] Due to this, he has been sanctioned by the European Union and United Kingdom.

The Capture of Emperor Valerian (260 CE)
The capture of Valerian by the Persian king Shapur I in 260 CE is one of the most shocking events in Roman history—the only time a reigning Roman emperor was taken prisoner by a foreign power.

    ⚔️ Background: Rome vs. Persia
During the 3rd century, the Roman Empire was under severe pressure from internal instability and external threats. In the east, the powerful Sasanian Empire, led by Shapur I, was expanding aggressively.

Valerian personally led a massive Roman army eastward to confront the Persians near the city of Edessa (modern-day Şanlıurfa in Turkey).

    🛡️ The Battle and Capture
In 260 CE, the Roman army suffered from:

A devastating plague weakening the troops
    Supply shortages
    Tactical disadvantages
Valerian attempted negotiations with Shapur I, but instead was seized—either during talks or after a decisive defeat (sources differ). The result: the Roman emperor was taken captive alive.

    ⛓️ Valerian’s Fate
    Accounts of his treatment vary:

Roman sources (hostile to Persia) claim Valerian was humiliated—used as a human footstool by Shapur and later killed brutally.
Persian sources and reliefs (like those at Naqsh-e Rustam) present the event as a dignified submission, showing Valerian kneeling before the victorious king.
The truth is uncertain, but he never returned to Rome and died in captivity.

    🌍 Historical Impact
It was a massive humiliation for Rome.
It intensified the Crisis of the Third Century, a period of chaos and fragmentation.
Valerian’s son, Gallienus, ruled alone afterward and struggled to stabilize the empire.

    🏛️ Why It Still Matters
    The capture symbolized:

The vulnerability of Rome at its weakest point
The rising power of the Sasanian Persians
A rare reversal in the long Roman tradition of dominance over rivals
It remains one of the most dramatic turning points in ancient imperial history.

In the more intellectual realm The New Third Front: China Quietly Revamps Country for War

    A fragment:

In the early 2020s, China commenced a series of mobilization measures that, in consistency and scale, have no precedent since the early 1970s, and in some ways since the Soviet Union’s preparations for World War II. In Chinese literature, they are explicitly compared with major mobilization programs undertaken when China was preparing for a war with the USSR in the 1960s and 1970s, specifically with Third Front Construction.
The fact that this report is from a Russian patriotic journal, rather than a pro-Western one with an obvious anti-Chinese bias, means that the revelations herein are particularly noteworthy.

They admit that these massive measures are done under the surface, which we can only assume is a deliberate choice to conceal China’s true…

Crooke….Iran War 3.0 ………discusses the war, of course, but dovetails the war to finance and a pending disaster in the homeland (as the neonazi cadre calls it). Beyond a passing mention of “energy crises” he does not mention the pending shortages in distillate fuels that power aircraft, locomotives, trucks and busses and the profound secondary practical effects….probably he ought to have done. Of the so-called “economy” he presents:

‘black swan’ now can be observed swimming in increasingly sunlit waters – Eric Katz writing in Notus writes that, “a draft report inside the U.S. Treasury Department is set to warn of the risks posed by the artificial intelligence market, likening key aspects of it to the dotcom bubble that upended the U.S. economy when it burst in the early 2000s”.

    Treasury analysts wrote –

“Career Treasury analysts found that AI firms are more deeply entrenched in the U.S. economy than their dotcom predecessors and pose significant risk to the entire system if financial conditions change, productivity goals are missed or various choke points stymie growth”.

“A downturn in the AI market would send shockwaves throughout the entire economic ecosystem”.

A market downturn in the U.S. – exacerbated by an energy crisis – could spell disaster for Trump’s midterm hopes.

“Down-turn” is very likely a vast understatement. It is the poor and newly poor that have pitchforks...and the mid-term elections, if they take place, may not be central in the pending “disaster”….https://strategic-culture.su/news/2026/07/13/iran-war-3-0/

Comrad Brigade Commander Mozgovoy, may he rest in peace, was a complex man. Possibly he did some wrong things. Often people discount or dismiss statements made by fellows who are said to be, or have been, criminals, etc. This is a logical fallacy. The validity and wisdom of a statement is not dependent on the character of the speaker. I have no idea if there’s any truth in the wiki entry on this officer. I think the letter is genuine, though of course it’s translated, but let us recall that it must have been written more than 10 years ago. It has aged well,

    Just for fun…

To All Former Officers, Wherever They Might Be
Russia stands, surrounded by foreign foes. In the North, interventionist armies once calling themselves Russia’s friend have occupied Russian soil. The Western imperialists seek nothing more than to carve Russia, once indivisible, into a series of protectorates and puppets, squeezing the Russian people for everything of value. In the East, the White warlords invite Japanese and American troops into the country, to plunder, loot, and pillage. Who knows what else they intend to do? Is Russia to become a Japanese colony? In the West come the Germanic hordes, hellbent on destroying the Slavic and Russian way of life, and carving out their own petty fiefdoms, duchies, and slaver colonies, as Germans are wont to do. They are facilitated in doing such by the Western imperialists, and the White warlords Denikin and Boldyrev. In the south, Denikin himself has unleashed a great evil on to Russian soil, killing untold numbers of good Russian civilians with noxious gasses. These men are unhinged, cowardly, and above all un-Russian. Joining them are the French and Romanians, who have carved out large portions of the Ukraine, as if it were a slice of Africa or the Americas of yore. The French have claimed the Crimean Peninsula as a protectorate, seeking to extract wealth from the Russian population.
It is any Russians duty to fight for the Russian Soviet Republic, to fight the foreign invaders, and those who invite them into our beds. I, Aleksei Brusilov, urge all former officers of the Tsar’s army to abandon the White warlords and their anti-Russian activities.
All those former officers who in one form or another help to eliminate as quickly as possible the White Guard detachments and their foreign masters that occupy Russian soil, who thus facilitate and hasten the victory of worker-peasant Russia over the German gentry, will be freed of responsibility for those acts which they carried out when they were in the White Guard armies of Boldyrev, Denikin, etc.
Do not take up arms against Russia! I implore you to take up arms for Russia, and the Russian way of life.
    ~ Aleksei Brusilov

    Letter to Russians and Ukrainians

    By Brigade Commander Mozgovoy

Brothers! I see how the enemies, having divided our people, are preparing a great war for them. And my people are neither Russian nor Ukrainian. My people are one. And I do not want to know anything else. Just as a person who lacks an arm or a leg is considered a cripple, so is a divided people.

We Russians, Ukrainians, and Belarusians, have been commanded to be together. And the fact that we are today frenzied and hate each other is the main accusation against us — we have broken this commandment.

What did we lack, brothers? Land? We have plenty of land. Freedom? So by killing each other, we became freer? Or perhaps we wanted a better life? Barrels of jam and baskets of cookies? So did this become more valuable than our own brother?

So, I think we just don’t have enough love for our own brother. We’ve forgotten what it means to be related to each other. That’s why strangers come to our homes and take the lead. Now, these strangers, whom we trust more than our own people, are controlling us, and we’re killing each other under their deceitful claims of the greatness of the Russian and Ukrainian nations.

I am writing this letter with pain for my people. As an Orthodox Cossack, I was forced to defend my land against my own brothers in faith. Could anything be more despicable? Today, it is clear that it is no longer a militia that is clashing with the Ukrainian army, but a divided Orthodox people that has risen against each other.

This is possible because in 1991, we lost our common homeland, the Soviet Union. At that time, our enemies dismantled the state, and today they are dividing and pitting its parts against each other. We have nothing left, no culture, no education, no mines or factories. However, this is only half the problem. The main thing we have lost is our brothers. Now, we are easily persuaded to believe that Ukrainians are the slaves of the West, while Russians are the aggressors and invaders.

All we have left, the slandered and robbed, is a common dream of a just state. The Ukrainians dream of a great Ukraine, and the Russians dream of a great Russia. But in essence, this is one big dream of a divided people who have longed for their homeland for 25 years. It is not about the state of oligarchs and traitors, which are the Moscow and Kiev colonies, but about our united Slavic state. It doesn’t matter to me what it is called—Kievan Rus, Muscovite Rus, Novorossiya—as long as it is a new Russia, our common home.

In the meantime, we are killing each other, and our executioners are almost openly encouraging us to kill each other. They are mocking us on Russian and Ukrainian television, insulting the Ukrainian people and calling them fascists, and insulting the Russian people and calling them occupiers. You won’t hear any words of sympathy for the Ukrainian people in distress from the “objective Russian media.” They won’t tell you who has plunged an entire nation into a spiritual catastrophe. Even the Russians themselves are no longer listening to their own brothers. Like the Ukrainians, they have been lulled into a false sense of patriotism and national pride. The media’s primary goal is to prevent any positive feelings between our nations.

How low we have sunk, brothers, insulting each other! Are we so blind that we do not see the real enemies? And what have they done on the land of Ukraine? What the Jewish Nazis who have seized power are doing is striking in its deliberate malice and hatred of our people. They are not only destroying the villages and cities of Donbas. They are destroying the army of Ukraine here, grinding it in cauldrons and senseless attacks. Their doctors and medical teams are dissecting the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the civilians of Donbas, collecting a rich harvest of human organs that are being shipped to Israel, Europe, and the United States. They have openly declared that they are building a new Israel in Ukraine. They are doing this in collaboration with the Russian oligarchy, whose intelligence agencies are targeting independent militia commanders. Meanwhile, we are all at war with each other.

Surprisingly, the only place where the Russian government lasted only one spring was Novorossiya. Perhaps we cherished and fought so fiercely for it because we felt it was the last thing we had. Now they are taking away the last thing we have. Not the territory, no. They are killing the most important thing—our faith in justice and the people who stood up for the cause. Without this, who needs the territory? To fill their bellies, drink vodka in taverns, and live in a slave-like existence? This can be done in the colonies as well. It’s better to have a good war than a bad peace. At least a war will open our people’s eyes to who we are and who our enemies are.

I call on my comrades, I call on those who are in the ranks today, and on future warriors. We had no other choice, we had no other option. But you must be wiser than we were. Do not trust your enemies. Do not believe Moscow or Kiev. Do not believe in good or bad. Do not believe in victory or defeat. Even if they give you the entire Donbas from Sloviansk to Mariupol, even if they give you all of Novorossiya, do not believe them. They will turn everything into defeat. The power in Russia and Ukraine is in the same hands. In both countries, the secret services serve Jewish oligarchs. They don’t care if you’re a Ukrainian nationalist or a Russian volunteer, a writer like Oles Buzina or a militia commander like Alexander Bednov.

People of Donbas! Russians and Ukrainians! Brothers!

Our sacrifice is not in vain! It is not in vain for those who have stood up to defend Donbass, or for those who have stood up for the unity of Ukraine. Our common problem is that our ideals have fallen into the hands of scoundrels who have exploited the patriotic feelings of the Russian and Ukrainian people to create this war.

Soon, all of us—Russians, Ukrainians, and Belarusians—will have to fight for a united state together with all the nations that once broke away from our Motherland. We should be grateful to God that, on the eve of a major war, we have seen the faces of our true enemies, who divided our nations in 1991 and still hold power over our land by organizing coups and Maidans and then pitting us against each other in civil wars. But they are in for a rude awakening! Here in Novorossiya, in the crucible of a fratricidal civil war, the weapons of a great vengeance are being forged, which will pass through the lands of Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus and burn away this universal filth.

Therefore I say to you: our sacrifice is not in vain! This war will not divide our peoples. The shame of spilling brotherly blood will be stronger than the mirage of independence. On the blood of martyred soldiers, on the fraternal blood of the Russian and Ukrainian people, our united state will rise again. It is for us that the words of St. Lawrence of Chernigov sound like an alarm bell: “Just as it is impossible to divide the Holy Trinity-the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit-this is one Lord God, so it is impossible to divide Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus — this is Holy Russia together!”

Therefore, I appeal to you, brothers, so that you always see the true enemy and do not raise your hand against each other.

    Brigade Commander Mozgovoy

When the tribunal concluded, 12 defendants were sentenced to death, seven received prison terms, and three were acquitted. Further trials followed for lower-ranking Nazis. Eighty years on, it is clear that Nuremberg aimed to deliver justice rather than mere vengeance. Its unequivocal condemnation of fascism became one of the moral foundations of international law.
