BBC said nothing about religion either, so long as I listened. I just picked up on the implications of what you spoke of. Later, thinking about it, I realized (just a few minutes ago) that there was a misunderstanding. I simply repeated her name, and wondered who she is. Being praised by BBC is very suspicious, in my view. And the fellows Larry & Friends also said nothing about religious affiliation… I am very sorry I misled you. imho BBC has become “counter-productive”… once we dispense with the suspension of disbelief they become risible, and actually function as a source of confirmation of the arena and tapestry of lies. FWIW I never bothered with “the olympics”, or sports other than competitive (and very safe!) marksmanship…in which generally the entire matter depends on keeping still. Of course that means being in good shape… in those days 50 miles a day on bicycle, and running laps. Doing endless push-ups and a lot of drill. After training, which is not competitive save against one’s self, then one can keep very steady. This principle applies also to the mind, especially to the mind…the body follows.
