helpless, horrified i find solace in God & through prayer light begins to dawn, i must hold that & beg God with all my heart for Palestine to be returned from the river to the sea.

my dearest beloved advised always in times of peril & doubt to chose a prominent public place & @ noon to stand head bowed in pray for an hour every day rain or shine for so many months, years as it might take for brethren to gather.  he did this @ stanford, mit & ucla for cuba, vietnam, & each time the crowd followed, soon the numbers grew & an hour of silence became a movement.  i have tried this in empire’s slag heap.  sadly, times have changed & now possibly b/c of the banker’s vast compost of homeless & destitute those few solvent couldawouldabeen conscious bypassers slip away with murine stealth.

my dawning….@ this most important passage  i can do very little, pray, yes, certainly, my mainstay is a certainty that the power of prayer changes the world, but prayer can be fielded from a battlefield, removing stones from rubble as deeply as from a derelict log on a beach.  i have begun to entertain/invite/solicit the counsel of angels, gods, bodhishattvas, mentors & marvellous friends, please, i’ve an idea the very least i can do is go to palestine (via an airport i vowed i’d never pass over, through or near)!!  & attempt from there to enter gaza & with my hands help dig through the rubble to recover survivors.

if any have suggestions on how my passage through border crossings may be easier, more certain,  i am in your debt.  my sole advantages: i am old, nondescript & may god willing pass unnoticed through customs; disadvantages: i am not a jew, i have neither friends/ family in gaza/israel.  how is it possible to pass?  when i was young i was very adept @ slipping under poles & fences, i must rely upon muscle memory.   i may end in prison alongside palestinian martyrs—i should be so blessed.

divine intervention mayn’t be easy as we’d hoped, it may be much more difficult.   it may require each lonely soul living through this armageddon to rise, as traore has guided, knowing above all that to survive we, mere witnesses or courageous front line warriors, must come to treasure every being, every form of life as sacred.   this will require reconnection to the divine, & will in truth be our divine intervention.  we, humanity, must aspire with Palestinian faith & trust to hold this treasure.
