i was hoping you might shed some light on this as i’m in way over my head & i can’t swim…pravin usually reads treaties with the mindset of a diplomat accustomed to attending military war rooms, while Dimitri Lascaris, accustomed to a court of law, has a very different interpretation, which tells me there is a great deal i’ve missed & subsequently misinterpreted so i deeply appreciate your help. thank you. it’s such an important document, imo, it is one historians will be debating for years so i’m not surprised i am having difficulty, being neither a lawyer nor a diplomat. i’m tempted to suspect it was intended to be a murky muddle as opposed to a transparent declaration.
add to the muddle, the saudis haven’t yet responded to ansar allah’s evening call, & pakistan also appears silent. in such days as these—tonight is altogether another night.
