minor quibbles…www2 never ended, this is a continuation, & we are approaching its climax. russia & china are assisting iran, because iran has laboured for decades for this do or die battle. iran has practised patience, resolved its weaknesses, turning them into weapons, its larder is full, its cause & courage are overflowing. iows, neither china nor russia are fighting someone else’s battle on very bad ground but joining in a common battle, existential for all 3 & for which all 3 have prepared & ‘gamed’ for a very long time. it is an axis of equals.
thank you for sharing this, dear crone, i would’ve missed it & it’s brushed an unresolved sore spot. from early 404 i’ve been flummoxed by a contagion many western leftists & authoritative professional warriors share; as though subliminally captured by empire’s code of conquering through extermination they cannot contain their frustration with the pace, the restraint & patience practised by the axis…not just russia’s, but also china’s & iran’s. currently (this moment anyway) i attribute this expectation of retaliation, as a refusal to grasp the true crux of why the civilizational axis practise restraint & elegantly engage in war without losing dignity & conscience. this remarkable hallmark seems to elude them entirely & may touch upon the undertow of angry incomprehension with the axis’ refusal to mirror the genocidal exceptionals. it appears difficult for some to grasp the magnitude, the crux that this war is for humanity’s soul & is civilizational.
