Participantdear AHH, thank you! here’s kevork & carl zha…a gruelling, shattering hour & a half. carl has been following syria for years so it’s almost like 2 friends meet to catch up & share how much has been lost, & how daunting the challenge to recoup, recover will be.
(dear comrades as per i’ll give the title & hope the link will work, if not, please, visit carl zha, it’s on his recents.)

Participantthis video is jean pierre petit 6yrs ago discussing putin’s 2017 speech. jean pierre petit & velikhov worked together, in so much as velikhov invited jpp to moscow & then jpp invited velikhov to marseille. when jpp solved the problem with plasma, velikhov immediately recognized what had just happened & set to work, while jpp suffered professional discredit.

Participantone of the stories shared on moa (by dany or another) regarding jean pierre petit is that he’s still alive, 87, & continuing to lecture in such halls as will invite him. he’s a celeb & the talk of social media amongst many french scholars & whatsoever remains of the left intelligentsia & young idealists after his harrowing years of isolation & ridicule. apparently not so many years ago he was asked, ‘how much money do you want to bring us to parity?’
jean pierre petit replied, ‘access to an unlimited supply of scientists, mathematicians, physicists, engineers & 30yrs.’
‘no, no,’ they said, ‘you are not hearing us, how much money do you want?’
‘no,’ jean pierre petit corrected them, ‘you do not understand…i need an infinite supply of engineers & 30yrs!’ what he didn’t bother saying b/c it was so obvious was that it will take that long. if they are very lucky & find such minds as Velikhov’s.
vlad was not slow to saddle, the russians were working, breathing math & precious metals, when vlad first mentioned these weapons they were well on track, all but there, russia is now @ the stage of presenting noble prizes & medals. the west has neither the scientists, nor the thirty years, it’s still shooting arrows while the global south is raining down shooting stars.

Participantwhen first hearing putin mention the need for a brics ‘noble’ prize i shrugged, why? when there’s really important stuff popping like corn? but then i read dany, poirot & a few responding to dany on moa:
Velikhov
john pierre petit
john pierre petit worked on annihilation of shock waves—his research wasn’t taken seriously in the west but Velikhov fully understood & became russia’s top scientist in areas of: energy, plasma, MHD, nuclear fusion—all areas related to key defence matters. he was an advisor to gorbachev & helped him fix chernobyl. is it possible vlad may’ve met velikhov?

Participant🕊️ blessings, dear AHH. oreshnik’s ripple effect may’ve impacted palestine’s occupying nazis; attrition squared. @ first, i feared the ceasefire a minsk sequel…but…perhaps the retreat is empire’s deafening, deflating munch’s scream.

Participantoff the top of my head, first glance perusal:
central america, south america & africa have an interest & a stake in china’s proposed canal through nicaragua. looking @ a map reveals the promise & possibilities opening for all 3. the atlantic coast of africa has few deep water ports, ships must wait for smaller vessels to transfer goods. the wealth & vast diversity of minerals & raw products is staggering & the urgency to devise a way & construct the infrastructure is obvious. the niger river seems a probable/possible beginning. the congo river may more require intense engineering logistically & structurally.
potentially, traffic from africa’s atlantic coast could on along their way to china deposit trade in brazil, & while off-loading pick up goods, then transit to bolivia & venezuela, do the same, although their will be traffic & tankers in both devoted wholly to bolivia & venezuela, & then head for the nica canal, where on the pacific side it’s possible to connect with ships going or coming from peru’s chancay port.

Participanttoday the nicaraguan government announced they will be constructing a deep canal, similar to the panama canal, although deeper. it is to stretch from the caribbean sea to the pacific, however, the proposed tract will not follow the plan promoted by the hong kong entrepreneur (around 2011?), which was much shorter, utilizing a small portion of lake nicaragua & following the southern border, not too near costa rica but enjoying the natural geography, it seemed to be the obvious route. the new proposal however will be much further north, involve more territory & is altogether much longer. it seemingly follows a river & from the sketch presented it involves lake managua & leon to reach the pacific. if this sounds vague it is b/c it is. the rumour is that it will be built with china. china has not disclosed this. nor was there any mention of china’s involvement in the announcement. but it is heavily speculated.
purely my speculation: china & nica discussed this in kazan, again in peru, & things are tight enough & near enough to construction that the announcement was unavoidable. @ this point my appraisal ends…i have no idea why now would be a good time to draw empire’s attention other than the canal needs to built.

Participantof course–i’d completely forgotten! i can’t imagine how that meeting was pivotal & such a relief & celebration. thank you for refreshing my memory. & what a meeting! surely russian & iranian novelists are working on what happened after ignition.
i was waay off base on the lame duck…viewing it from the wrong end altogether. thank heaven, russia undoubtedly has anticipated the long range view as well as empire’s feeble foolishness. i’m not yet seasoned in gaming strategy & miss the obvious. thank you for the links…it always feels like i am accomplishing something when the fog begins to lift. bless you, 🕊️ dear friend.
