thank you, amarynth, & i apologize for your having to explain the obvious.  simply & end of story:  i respect you so much & am so deeply grateful for global south.co & all you do that i really did not wish to overstep.  thank you, & i wish you & your family well.

🙂  hummers are a delight.   i’ve one my garden, he understands adoration is a human need & allows it with disarming grace.

<span style=”font-size: medium;”> i, like you, have been aware amarynth’s dealing with multiple issues, & having been sending her family well wishes</span><span style=”font-size: medium;”>.   sputnik being so possessive gave me pause, & i began to consider, some sites are indeed very territorial…i do not believe either ben norton or amarynth are, both seem very motivated by getting truth out.  still michael hudson & radhika may have an agreement with ben.  it may be trivial, or not.  </span>

i agree differences are essential, & used to be the hallmark of good research.  sadly no longer, as many attempting to publish in once well regarded journals can attest.  making the disputation of differences all the more important.  panning for truth in days such as ours is crucial & i concede it’s one of empire’s few fields of exquisite expertise: fog, propaganda & concealing light & truth.

the recent (a week or more ago) release by the russians on biolabs seemed to herald this release of empire’s sins.  amarynth wisely marked it as though the RoH is beginning to formulate the agenda for their trials; which means empire is sensing defeat.  certainly ramping up Bioware will be one of its big last horse persons sent.  poverty on a global scale has undoubtedly also been saddled: i read (i think on middleeasteye) the state of pensioners in lebanon.  amaranth’s new atlas post informs us hybrid warfare is going to play an dominant role.  how china, iran, russia & the RoH meet these wars & saddled horse persons & help navigate our world through is indeed why we here are so fervently connected, & why, as you state so eloquently, differences are crucial.  we need to keep clearing our vision & minds, setting aside dated, wrong assumptions, retrieving our uncluttered knapsacks & hurry to the next smoking battle zone.  to make what we might from the smoke’s rising curls.  blessings.

i’ve been silent, reading, processing the comments, posts, articles, the few times i’ve felt i had to engage, that i might have something to contribute, the next comment responded with the very thoughts i too had had.   so i took it to heart, this, emerson, is a time to remain silent, listen & learn.

pepe @ sputnik is as always most provocative & unfortunately sputnik doesn’t allow their site to link,  not even day old bread. sigh, & moving on.

i’ve visited ben norton’s site, & am assuming amarynth will post what she feels suits when it’s permitted.  ben has 2 posts: one which book ends, maria Z’s list perfectly: a study released by brown university’s watson institute: chronicling the deaths america & vassals must own.  truly a hard, heartbreaking read.  watershed, really.  & as others have noted russia, china & the RoH are preparing for what happens after empire has begun to digest defeat & muster how it might pretend & project that it indeed won.  how to move with hollywood/madison ave elan whatsoever it can muster to fight china for all the world’s marbles…certainly the very loose marbles empire is so obviously missing.

the other:  michael hudson, mick & radhika latest which is brilliant & i look forward to col’s comments.

i hope i am not blundering, dear, amarynth & ahh…it seems ben norton & amarynth are very well tuned & good friends.  i assume she will when time & agreed protocol have been reached she will post.  if not forgive my blundering ignorance.  blessings.

praise god (not yet on the list), after years of expanding the oxford dictionary will slam into reverse & obligingly shrink.

yes, nuland said even if it takes 16yrs!!  then medvedev says we’re could be looking @ an extended long drag ’em out.  i’m not convinced empire can drag this out for a decade or longer.  sure burp, pat pat ukraine into sticking out—& russia will continue to meat grinder its way through nato’s arsenal but empire doesn’t know what a besieged city really means, let alone a country…or themselves.

apparently the russians opened a dam?  presumably to wash out the ukraine means to re-supply?   there’s talk that why artyomovsk was so crucial is that empire lusts after crimea & has not relinquished the dream, & artyomovsk was within reach of  empire’s being able to cut off russia from supplying crimea.  the F16s apparently can if it’s a drone/minus pilot & exit stuff  it won’t need to refuel & can just make it to deliver a whooping hit.  (never mind never mind it’s an expensive drone or that russia’s EU may detect it).  sigh.  you nailed, amarynth, we are in the midst of the world’s craziest dazes.

thank you, ahh & amarynth!  my prayers & good wishes flow to peru in their brave & seemingly never-ending battle with empire. may the battle be won shortly.  my gratitude to you both.

like you, ahh, i too grew up with marvellous childhood books on the inca.  later in life a dear friend was a prof on the inca.  she’d also studied the mayans & could speak mayan, as her father had been a prof on the mayans & had an enormous collection of old manuscripts, later donated to the smithsonian.  i shall take your wise words to heart & admire the stone work & terraces from afar.  jago cooper has beautiful videos that teach & do more than whet the appetite.  thank you, ahh, for remembering my issues, i will heed your advice before travelling to peru.  fingersXed my recovery continues with a modicum of speed & thoroughness & that in a year or so i shall be wending my way up the mountain.  i was born & raised @ 3000 feet so hopefully my body has a residual memory of how to cope with such limited resources.  🙂

i love your links, ahh.  i’m mulling a visit to peru in the winter, revisit all the sites i’ve loved in mexico, spend time in argentina, & possibly a trip through peru.  thank you, i’ve a lovely time ahead.

because gaddafi was an admirer of nasser, i mistakenly assumed that gaddafi would’ve also connected with assad’s father.   assad’s london life may’ve been heady, music & classes mixing like exotic cocktails, but wasn’t it remarkable & marvellous that as he hadn’t been raised to rule he was allowed to take on a useful career, lacking obvious pretentious glamour & wholly connected to the people & poor in a real way?  not the choice of many elite arab second sons enjoying london’s posh dens & salons.  that choice & his sincere humility leads me to assume he would’ve grown up with the green book, for a time an item on many shelves in montreal & new york, alongside the little red book.  how did he survive those first years suddenly tossed in amongst the party of sheiks & kings all accompanied by their princes ala bandar waiting to mentor, groom the young president?  he must’ve been played & led & grievously misled?

for when empire attacked nasser regardless of whether or not assad’s father was aligned it would’ve left a deep impression on assad & his family.  possibly an awakening.

once upon a time,  there was a brazilian poster, canthama, deeply committed to syria, her cause, people, artifacts & history…perhaps you recall him?  he floated through various sites, most vanished unfortunately, but his perspective was, like yours, invariably illuminating & unforgettable.

ahh, i did not know that assad was laughing @ him!  indeed, assad must have revisited that speech & his collusion many times.  gaddafi, i was smitten with his audacity, his vision for africa, i knew nothing about his depth, & now must begin to study the life.  as always you continually push my aperture, deepen my understanding, add another volume to my soul’s library.

you are right, o/c, much remains ensconced in studies, parlours, storage lockers…much of palmyra i suspect decorates a london private den.  & the treasures of latin america, yes, drain the mansions & museums.  here in victoria canada, proud colonial heartland, the govt has no idea what to do with all its holdings/collections…reluctant to return them it’s opted to build a bigger warehouse masquerading as a tribute to truth & reconciliation.

thank you once more for gaddafi’s speech.  assad’s appreciation, gaddafi’s shining resounding truth, it is one of the great speeches of our time.

ahh, i had no idea pakistan’s debt was 105%!!!  default is exactly what pakistan must do, let’s pray, china & russia guide the country to do just that!

dear friend, congratulations on nearly finishing 08.  i hope it hasn’t aged you, but uplifted & restored you, for, at this historic turning, africa’s history is crucial.  please, be heartened, it is essential.

bravo, ahh, well said.  we are fortunate to have giants amongst us: xi, putin, lavrov, patrushev, wang yi, jaishankar, raisi, as well as many guiding conductors: soleimani, shostakovich, rachmaninov.

    dear ahh,

imagine ezra pound translating chinese.   a language critics believe he could neither read nor speak, yet, pound channeled the poet precisely.   i have no idea why pound haunts my thoughts when i read & re-read your recent posts or attempt a reply…perhaps b/c his world’s days were also complicated & not @ all what they seemed.   let us hold hope, trust, & light.   blessings.

    dear ahh,

forgive me, it is i owing you the apology.

thank you for your gracious heart, i am sincerely grateful for your sage warnings & your entreaties to trusted mentors on our behalf, thank you.  above all,  i am relieved to be able to speak to you once more soul to soul @ the salon rather than OT, for that i thank the heavens, your patience, & God.

if i have been deceived it will not be the first time, nor i suspect the last.

step in a mud puddle expect a muddy hem. 😉

my take:   nothing is as it seems.   our time is yet a seed (possibly soaking).   protected by its inscrutable surface our seed’s harvest remains unknown; while many seeds resemble a mustard seed, a poppy seed or sweet alyssum, so i shall heed your gardener’s eye & hand & pry further, plant deeper, ever loosening the grip of seeing only what i wish to flourish & learn to nurture the seed emerging.

if imran is a sufi we can hold faith, as prigozhin’s dance of the 7 veils has revealed.

dear, ahh, you are too kind, thank you, i am deeply immeasurably humbled.

my computer is in hospice, that’s why i have been seemingly unresponsive.  earlier, i attempted to reply but the loaner was not recognized.  so hospice has allowed the geriatric to return home for its remaining few hours while its replacement is being indoctrinated.

i agree on all your points re: why not continue….  certainly the one certainty is that mother’s leadership have planned this as smoothie continually reminds us to the millionth turn.

china’s move re: ryukyu highlights the degree the RoH is masterfully turning the wheel.  i expect we shall see many more such moves wherein one stone takes the board.

a dawning approaches; burns admits empire was blindsided by the iran saudi reconciliation.   empire has been lapped, the blinding dust  it assures itself is caused wholly by the speed with which it is laying waste.
