This is only a glimmer of what happened today, besides 5 USRael Aircraft down including two lowflying search helicopters searching for crew from downed aircraft. Local Iranians started wacking these helicopters with guns over the shoulder and got’em, both of them and they barely made it across the border to Iraq for ‘hard landings’ and injured crew. Local Iranians are screaming “We can do this! Give us manpads! We can take these airplanes down!” The Iranians are out over mountains, hills and dales seeking for one crewmember still unaccounted for. Iran put a bounty on the live head, which, if he is still alive, will probably save his life. This does not even include missiles and drones taken down.

Just in now are reports of another aircraft taken down. Fighter jets flew over multiple cities, including Tehran, and faced heavy air defense fire. Some jets attempted to escape using flares, but one was likely hit. (And here I thought that USRael ‘owned’ the airspace!”

Israelis live in shelters while Israel is being demolished around them. Tel Aviv is being demolished brick by brick. Three stratotankers are squawking emergency signals for some unfathomable reason where ever they are flying to do their refuelling. USRael hammered a university near Tehran today as well as the residences of students.

The IRGC calls today a “black and bitter day for the U.S. Air Force and the Zionist entity”.

🇺🇸 Trump –– Let’s do 48 hours ceasefire

🇮🇷 Iran FM –– “NO. NOT NEEDED” 🗿

🇺🇸 Trump –– At least consider our 15 points for negotiations

🇮🇷 Iran FM –– “ALL OF THEM REJECTED” 🗿

🇺🇸 Trump –– Okay, let’s talk about deal in the next meeting

🇮🇷 Iran FM –– “WE ARE NOT COMING”🗿

It all happened today.

The first reports from the Iranians, Hezbollah, Iraq factions and Yemen are out. The rate of Iranian drone and missile attacks are mind boggling. From a surprising angle, apparently missiles were fired from Syria into the Golan Heights. These are Old Syrian defense forces entering the chat.

If that was not enough, here is more:

Appaently Hegseth dismissed a stack of military brass because the situation resembled a military coup. I cannot confirm that. The US media is in tatters with even Fox News figuring out that something is really wrong and blathering and blithering idiots are talking around the clock. Trump quote: “We have engaged in a war with one of the world’s most powerful countries.” (And here I thought Iran was completely obliterated).

Imagine dedicating nearly four decades of your life, serving in multiple combat deployments, becoming the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, only to be fired by a drunk Fox News weekend host. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George seems to be up for treason.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

This is called mission creep.  Another view would be Pumping Trumpy.

Israeli Broadcasting Authority: Preparations are underway in Israel for two additional weeks of war, and the incident of the aircraft being shot down could lead to a stronger response from the Trump administration.

The war with Iran is expected to continue beyond the originally planned timeframe of one to one and a half months.

Request:  Could one of our commentators update us in the comments regarding the Purge in the US please.

France, China, and Russia rejected a UN Security Council decision that would have allowed the use of force to open the Strait of Hormuz.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

A French-owned container ship, the GMA CGM Kribi has exited the Strait of Hormuz, the first transit by a vessel linked to Western Europe since the war started.  It stuck close to the Iranian coast, openly broadcasting its journey.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Russian MoD: ❗️Last night, in response to terrorist attacks launched by Ukraine against civilian facilities on the territory of Russia, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a massive strike with long-range air- and ground-based high-precision weapons, as well as attack UAVs against the Ukrainian defence industry enterprises and energy infrastructure that support their work.

▫️In addition, six group strikes have been launched during the week, which hit fuel, transport and port infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the AFU, military airfields, production workshops and launch preparation areas of long-range attack drones, as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Medvedev: No, Trump isn’t leaving NATO, and neither is America. Obviously. There’s no real reason to, and Congress won’t allow it anyway. Trump’s rhetoric is nothing but posturing. Sure, some symbolic gestures are possible: trimming the size of the American contingent, withholding certain deliveries. But that’s not the interesting part.

What’s obvious is that serious fault lines exist within the Alliance — fault lines the Iran campaign has only deepened. And Europe’s political freaks, especially the Brussels crowd, have started genuinely mulling the creation of a fully-fledged military component inside the EU. That is what reshapes the picture.

Until now, our position on EU membership for neighbors has been measured and calm — even regarding Banderite Ukraine. Want to join? Go ahead. But that has to change. The EU is no longer just an economic union. It can transform, and rather quickly, into a full-blown military alliance, one overtly hostile to Russia, and in some ways worse than NATO. It would be a revolting rabble of unhinged European parasites whose entire purpose will be to harvest political capital — and of course, cash — from stoking Russophobic hysteria.

So where am I going with all this? Simple: it’s time to drop the tolerant attitude toward our neighbors joining what is now a military-economic European Union. That includes Country 404.

Our President recently signaled exactly this in politely coded terms hinting to a certain comrade Pashinyan that membership in the EAEU and the European Union are simply incompatible.

I did a fairly extensive update on the War on Iran thread.  The size of this war is quite staggering and one can only pick up some snippets as updates pour in all day long.  Take a look if you want an idea of sheer scope and size.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Barbarians? Yes sure:

🔹🔹🔹🔹

It seems as if Russia broke the Cuban blockade. They are sending a second oil ship. Mexico immediately followed suit and said that they are supplying oil to Cuba. It is going to be really difficult for the US to get this horse back into the stable, assuming that they want to.

Besides the war on Iran, and other unacceptable actions of the US toward the rest of the world, Trump’s new map must get attention. The world is not his to carve up. This lesson is being integrated by the RoW. It is estimated that approximately half of the world has now spoken to Iran to arrange passage through the Strait of Hormuz. Humanity finds a spot of humor.

Aya-TOLL-ah

It is not because they have suddently turned to morality that certain European countries refuse landing rights and use of US bases to war planes and vessels in their countries. (Spain, France, UK (but they are lying), and others. It is because they want rights to sail through the Strait and strangely enough understand Iran. I have no problom with tolls for transiting: “Egypt charges $200,000 to $700,000 per transit through the Suez Canal. Large container ships or tankers can exceed $1 million. Panama charges $100,000 – $450,000 per transit. Large Neopanamax vessels cost up to $500,000 to transit the Panama Canal. Turkey charges fees for the Bosphorus Strait. Canada charges fees for the St. Lawrence Seaway. The United States charges fees for the St. Lawrence Seaway. Iran has not collected fees to transit the Strait of Hormuz for decades. ”

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Trump’s speech was the previous weeks ‘Truth’ posts redux and condensed – same old. He and Hegseth want to continue for another two or three weeks and bomb Iran back to the stone age. So, the speech is done and it did not glitter, but the risk of a ground invasion is still there. The war continues with the US in a losing position as it stands today. It seems as if the market manipulation benefited a very small set of oligarchs.

Ebrahim Zolfaqari, Spokesperson of the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya:   With reliance on God, this war will continue until your humiliation and disgrace.

Apr 1

Let us start this day with Sony Thang’s acerbic insight:

  • You want the ugliest truth?
  • America’s war on terror was never a war against terror.
  • It was a war to reserve terror for itself. To monopolize it. Centralize it. Legitimize it. Brand it.
  • Then criminalize every retaliatory language that might emerge from the ruins it created.
  • That is why Washington never really wants terror eliminated.
  • Terror justifies budgets.
  • Terror justifies bases.
  • Terror justifies surveillance.
  • Terror justifies dependency.
  • Terror justifies the endless American right to arrive anywhere on Earth and call itself necessary.
  • It fears competitors in the business of fear.
  • And that is why it must always remain the largest supplier.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Chinese Prof. Zhang Weiwei on Taiwan and Gulf countries:

These Gulf states spent so much money building American bases… and when trouble broke out, the Americans led the retreat.  They spent so much money and got played for fools, then kept getting hit by Iran over and over.  Trump still claims to have won. He always claims victory — but in reality, he’s long been beaten black and blue.  He never imagined things would turn out this humiliating.  I believe that people in Taiwan, when they look at the real situation, will see it clearly.  Hopefully they’ve also learned a lesson from this Iran conflict.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Blatant:

Who is this new president?  Pezeshkian has been there since July 2024.

Of course!  Iranian officials have categorically denied US President Donald Trump’s claim that Tehran has asked for a ceasefire.  Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman says US President Trump’s statements about Iran’s request for a ceasefire are false and baseless.

Russia is not pushing the US any longer to work on a Ukraine solution.  They say generally that discussions are on pause.

What they are doing is to put pressure back on Zelenski.

PLA Daily Claims Japan Near Nuclear Capability

In a full-page report, PLA Daily stated that Japan had separated 44.4 tonnes of plutonium by the end of 2024 — enough to produce approximately 5,500 nuclear warheads (https://www.scmp.com/news/china/military/article/3348518/japan-has-enough-plutonium-make-5500-nuclear-warheads-pla-daily-says). The outlet warned that once Japan fully abandoned its Three Non-Nuclear Principles, it could become a de facto nuclear-armed state within a very short period.

The report accused Japan of systematically developing its defence industry under civilian cover, noting that Tokyo’s advanced technology transition research budget reached 17.5 billion yen in 2025 — 18 times the 2022 figure. Japan’s Defence Ministry established a DARPA-style research institute in 2024 and has been drawing civilian firms into military R&D.

PLA Daily linked the report to broader bilateral tensions that deteriorated after Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi said in November that Japan could intervene militarily if China attacked Taiwan. The report also referenced Japan’s contracts involving Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, including a US$6.8 billion warship deal with Australia and Patriot missile deliveries to the United States.

(From Pepe Escobar) China-Pakistan just released 5-points on the war on Iran – as lame as it gets:

1️⃣ Immediate ceasefire & humanitarian access to all affected areas

2️⃣ Early peace talks; respect for sovereignty of Iran & Gulf states; diplomacy over force

3️⃣ Protection of civilians & non-military infrastructure under international law

4️⃣ Security of shipping lanes, especially the Strait of Hormuz

5️⃣ Strengthening role of the United Nations & a UN Charter-based peace framework

What this means is that China was not convinced by anything discussed by The Four Stooges in Islamabad.

And that they won’t risk being a guarantor of a non-plan which can be bombed at any second by the Baboon of Barbaria.

Of course there’s way more to it. But that will be discussed between China and Iran.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Comments by FM Lavrov Lavrov at the Russian International Affairs Council meeting:

We are in the middle of reshaping of the world order that will hopefully lead to the formation of a stable and fair multipolar world.

‘Right now, this restructuring looks more like disruption. The fight for power across the world is fierce’.

Trump says he’s not interested in international law, cities being destroyed with ‘biblical cruelty’ and children’s hospitals are being targeted.

‘In this situation nobody, but us and our allies care about international law’.

Europeans started to call for US, Israel to follow the principles of the UN Charter, through they’ve done a lot to make sure those remain just on paper.

‘What we witness now has all indicators of escalating into a broader conflict that some have dubbed World War III’.

Government coups executed under pretense of ‘human rights’ are just a cover for oil & gas takeover.

‘US and Israel are trying to prevent normalization between Iran and its neighbors’.

‘We are not going to run after Western elites asking for anything’ — FM Lavrov.

As our relations with the West are in crisis, it is ‘critical to promote interests of Russia, while leaving a window for dialogue opened’.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Kremlin spox Peskov

Zelensky didn’t offer any ‘formulated initiatives for Easter truce,’ he just wants A truce.  ‘Zelensky must take responsibility and make the appropriate decision so that we can move towards peace, not a truce’ —

The requirements and demands of Russia and Iran are clearly similar.  We will fight you until we can establish an environment where war is not the first option.  This brings us back to indivisible security.  Also compare Michael Hudson’s comments on the US wanting a +-4 year chaos, thinking that they will then be able to bounce back.

This time, it won’t work, but the chaos will be terrible.  And it touches all of us.  At the moment I am waiting on our site tech, who is in a country that just fell apart in terms of gas provision and I expect he is in total blackout.  The smaller countries are beginning to suffer.  I spoke with a person out of South Africa just yesterday and they report they are on the way to stack up on groceries, as the gas price is increasing at an alarming rate.  I also have contact with people out of Asian countries and it is a similar situation for many.  The Einstein quote comes to mind:  “I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”

On the Iran War thread, I reported that Chechen military units are offering to enter this war on the side of Iran.  The DPRK with their 1.2 million military forces is standing ready.  Mr Lavrov says:  ‘What we witness now has all indicators of escalating into a broader conflict that some have dubbed World War III’, and that Russia will act firstly in Russia’s interests

In concert with Russia, the China spox (Mao Ning) responded on a Bloomberg question:

Bloomberg: We understand that China has exported cargoes of diesel and other fuels to other energy-starved countries across Southeast Asia over the past week. Was this a sign of support for those economies in the middle of the Middle East crisis? And does China have an update on what it plans to do to support other countries?  (Of course this is a sick question trying to find out who is taking which side in what is probably already an economic world war and escalating fast).

Mao Ning: For your specific question, I have no information and would refer you to relevant authorities and companies. Due to the situation in the Middle East, commodities like energy and fertilizers are in short supply in the global market, which has dealt a blow to many countries. China is ready to maintain communication with all sides to safeguard global energy security. However, to resolve the issue once and for all, what should be done first and foremost is to stop military operations.

Neither Russia nor China minces words.   There was another question for Mao Ning on Japan.  No more talk, only correct action will make a diference.

A Tarde: The Japanese ambassador in Brazil said in a recent interview that Japan is willing to settle its diplomatic strain with China about Taiwan and stabilize the relationship between the countries. Is the Chinese government open to start a dialogue about this issue with Japan?

Mao Ning: The Taiwan question is China’s internal affair and the one-China principle is the political foundation of China-Japan relations. Dialogue should be built on the basis of respecting each other and honoring the agreements made. One cannot just talk about dialogue while at the same time eroding the other side’s core interests. The Japanese side needs to reflect on and correct its wrongdoings, abide by the four political documents between China and Japan and its own commitments, and take concrete actions to display sincerity for dialogue.

Trump World = “All my friends left me!  I’ll ‘pop my own lonely popcorn in my own lonely pot'” sitting alone underneath my own golden ballroom!  Europe slams doors on US amid Iran war: Spain closes airspace, Italy denies base, France blocks supply flights, Switzerland restricts military flights …. The U.S. has asked Poland to send one of its Patriot missile batteries to the Middle East, but Warsaw says no.  Defense Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz:  “Our Patriot batteries… are used to protect Polish skies and NATO’s eastern flank… we have no plans to relocate them anywhere.”

Hegseth is singing yesterday’s song.  Regime change in Iran has occurred — Defense Secretary Hegseth.  ‘This new regime should be wiser than the last’.  ‘If Iran is not willing, then the US War Department will continue with even more intensity’  (So, where is that regime change?)

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Notes from a writer @enemywatch) on the situation with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)

If you think Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai have done nothing, and are just being bombarded because they host bases, then you are only seeing one side of the wall. These regimes have, for years, been part of a wider security and intelligence network aligned with American powers, building deep cooperation in surveillance, targeting, and regional monitoring.

They host advanced radar systems, early warning networks, and air defense infrastructure that cover large parts of the region, including Iranian airspace. Systems like the AN/TPY-2 radar (used in THAAD) can detect and track ballistic missiles at very long distances, often hundreds to over a thousand kilometers, acting as the “eyes” of missile defense networks.

There are also large early-warning radars like the AN/FPS-132, deployed in places such as Qatar, which are designed for long-range missile detection and strategic surveillance across entire regions. In addition, airborne systems like the UAE’s GlobalEye (Erieye ER radar) can monitor airspace up to roughly 450–550 km, giving continuous tracking of aircraft, drones, and missile movements far beyond borders.

They operate as a layered network combining satellites, ground radars, airborne surveillance, and command centers. Gulf states have invested heavily in such multi-layered air defense systems, with long-range detection, medium-range tracking, and short-range interception all working together.

Financial systems in the Gulf have the ability to freeze accounts, monitor transactions, and track dollar flows, and there have been repeated discussions about freezing billions of dollars in Iranian assets and dismantling Iran’s “bypassing sanctions” networks for trades.

Shipping routes were also tracked. Iranian oil shipments were often monitored through maritime surveillance, AIS tracking, and intelligence-sharing networks, even when tankers tried to hide by switching off signals or using ship-to-ship transfers. These methods made it possible to map trade routes and identify patterns over time.

So when there is a hell for America, others will also have to face the same. Iran has the ability to seriously damage these states if it continues sustained attacks with its ballistic missiles over a long period.

A member of Iran’s National Security Commission announced that a plan to manage the Strait of Hormuz has been approved.

🔴 Key points of the plan include:

🔺 Enhanced security measures in the strait

🔺 Naval vessel safety protocols

🔺 Environmental protection considerations

🔺 Financial and fee regulations

🔺 Banning passage of US and Israeli vessels

🔺 Reinforcing Iran’s sovereign authority and role of its armed forces

🔺 Collaboration with Oman on the legal framework

🔺 Restricting access for countries enforcing unilateral sanctions against Iran

Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Member Mojtaba Zarei:

We have approved the committee’s plan to manage the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump can decide to send troops abroad, but their return is not his decision. No one returns from hell.

The plan includes financial arrangements and toll systems in Iranian currency, and prohibits Americans and Zionists from transiting the strait.

The plan includes exercising Iran’s sovereign role and that of its armed forces.

The plan includes preventing countries participating in unilateral sanctions against Iran from transiting the strait.

One of the main aspects of the plan is cooperation with the esteemed Sultanate of Oman in drafting the legal framework.

The Greater North America according to the Dept. of War frat boy. Together with the wet dream of Greater Israel these guys still want to own the world with a pretense of ‘sharing’ the world. (Note the language very carefully .. we’re back into ‘increased burden sharing’, i.e., the other guy must pay for us to continue to live our lifestyle.) These people are buying themselves trouble and pain for others, that one cannot imagine. They are wanting to make a class of soldiers and serfs. Like Prof Hudson says .. “Workers — euphemized as “consumers”. This planet does not belong to Trump to redraw the maps. A pox on his maps. Again, take a look at Prof Hudson: “Trump clearly intends to deliberately create a world economic crisis lasting at least four years — as World War I and World War II did. He thinks this will put America in the driver’s seat: America is self-sufficient in gas and oil. Other countries will have to buy from us. And if they do, we’ll require them to impose sanctions against Russia, Iran, and anyone else we’ve designated as an enemy.”

The U.S. Coast Guard has allowed a Russian state-owned tanker carrying around 730,000 barrels of crude oil to reach Cuba, according to NYT, citing U.S. officials, breaking months of a U.S. oil blockade imposed under Trump-era policy.

As of Sunday afternoon, the tanker was less than 15 miles from Cuban waters, according to MarineTraffic.

“They gave us, out of a sign of respect, 20 boats.” – Trump

This is a good example of Trump’s lies and how misinformation in MAGA circles spreads fast.

First of all… Trump starts by repeating the lie from last week that Iran allowed 8+2 boats, which never happened. Then he tries to take credit for 20 Pakistani boats from a separate deal Iran made with Pakistan, but that’s not what happened. Now major MAGA accounts on X are massively amplifying this, with some even claiming the US Navy is escorting the tankers.

None of this is true. Absolutely nothing.

Mentioned this a few times but I want to highlight it again! While we talk about the US and boots and the ground and the war from the US perspective, do not forget about Israel who keeps the war going with US money and in reality, besides their social media campaigns to shape the narrative, keeps killing. Trump’s larp game is to keep the Bibi Factor hidden.  “Benjamin Netanyahu goes fully psychotic and tells the world that he will single-handedly change the entire face of the Middle East, and that Israel will attack any country at any time. “We will surprise them instead of them surprising us.” “We are the attacking side. We are the initiating side.” “We take the initiative. We attack.”

‘There’s a special operations mission being planned’ — Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson suggested that “the Marines (https://t.me/geopolitics_prime/67434) are being used as bait, as a deception, to distract attention while the US plans another ground mission.

💬 “What we’re witnessing is grand political theatre: Donald Trump playing a role — both a distracted person, someone who’s constantly changing his mind, behaving very erratically — all of this to create cover for a pretty dramatic special operations mission inside Iran to perhaps locate and/or seize nuclear fuel from Iran,” Johnson explained.

💬 “It would appear that there is some other operation planned,” he added, suggesting Trump’s goal remains defeating Iran— not making peace.

The possibility of Iran’s withdrawal from the Nuclear Non‑Proliferation Treaty (NPT) is under discussion in Tehran, Iranian media reported on Saturday, Anadolu reports.

Relevant government bodies, including parliament, are currently “urgently” mulling withdrawal, Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported.

On the US social media company X, Tehran Deputy Malek Shariati said an “emergency plan to support the nuclear rights” of Iran has three main areas.

These include a declaration of withdrawal from the NPT, the cancellation of the countermeasure law in implementing the 2014 Iran nuclear deal, and support for a new international agreement with like-minded countries for the development of peaceful nuclear technologies, including Shanghai and the BRICS bloc of Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and others.  https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20260328-iran-weighing-possible-withdrawal-from-nuclear-non-proliferation-treaty/

Around the world, fertilizer stocks have started to decline following rising fuel prices. With the outbreak of hostilities, supplies of urea, ammonia, and sulfur have been disrupted. In the worst-case scenario, this means reduced crop yields and poor harvests next season. In the best-case scenario, higher production costs will be passed on to food prices next year. Small farmers may not survive if governments do not subsidize fertilizer purchases when demand peaks in June.

Also keep an eye on jet fuel prices.  Those are soaring!

Let’s hope that the FUSA will descend into civil war. It’ll be fun to watch Americans killing Americans.

Millions of people around the world who suffered and died because of FUSA deserve justice, and there’ll be no more fitting justice than the FUSA descending into total chaos and ultimately collapsing.

Japan is a nuclear threshold state, meaning that it has the capability and technology to rapidly develop nuclear weapons if it chose to do so–perhaps in a matter of weeks. Recently, an anonymous Japanese security official stated that Japan should develop nukes given that its enemy states of China, Russia,… Read more »

Sarcasm aside, what’s the general idea then?

https://xcancel.com/BeijingDai/status/2038972906227867941 The Iranian Embassy in China released a video titled “Seeking Revenge for All,” which featured, in order: Native Americans, Japanese, Vietnamese, Yemenis, Gazans, Epstein Islanders, Soleimani, and Khamenei. However, it was clear that Chinese people would not accept the framing of the Japanese as victims of war with the… Read more »

Most Japanese cities had already been burned. Attack N and H took place during back channel surrender negotiations. Burning cities is a war crime. Attacking civilians is a war crime. So Iran was correct from the start. Now someone in the CPC has to make all this known to everyone… Read more »

Sonny Thang’s thoughtful insight recalls the mocking remarks of Zbignew Brzezinski’s comment, at the time, that the War on Terror was, after all, a war on an abstract noun. Such a war has, therefore, no end. How could it end? In a perverse way, this sort of thinking recalls Marx’s… Read more »

At the time the WoT seemed to me to be a claim to power in the sense of by mere ukase removing all rights from any individual, even the right to life itself….this is to say an end to law. “terrorist” is a designation that all by itself removes even… Read more »

The statement about the Japanese plutonium may be slightly misleading…it’s funny stuff…there are isotopes that make dandy explosive, and isotopes that don’t. See the wiki and take a deep breath. That said, they can make a lot of bombs – the only nuclear bomb secret worth keeping was announced at… Read more »

are (were) the data centres located in the gulf effectively ‘the cloud’? if so? what impact if any could that have on storage of global data?

The War reduces server (cloud) redundancy. They have servers all over the world, replicating data, so all will not be lost. Data is their treasure. It is always protected, at least the big techs live by that mission.

thank you, larchmonter445. sigh, i was so hoping its impact may’ve been a tactical nuke closing both the hormuz & bab-el-mandeb straits.

I live in the Pacific time zone of the US. When I started reading the Hearty Salon, I noticed that postings were an hour ahead of my time zone during DST and two hours ahead without DST. Just like in Saskatchewan and Mexico City (neither of which observe DST). Am… Read more »

The forum runs on world time, not daylight savings. During DST, for example, PST is 8 hours behind GMT. When DST is not in effect, PST is 7 hours behind GMT.

I know, hence my observations. I’m just asking why the forum posts’ timespamps coincide with the time in Mexico City which doesn’t observe DST.

Far too complex for me to have more than trivial ideas…at Salon I posted a claim that SU35’s have been delivered. 48 of them. With sexy EW…. I wonder, remembering Korea and MiG Ally, if the pilots are going to be Russians. And I wonder about tactics…will Iran “permit” the… Read more »

US ground push into Iran would be suicide mission – ex commander Sending around 7,000 troops to Iran for a ground operation, as some speculate, is “a drop in the bucket,” says former 82nd Airborne Commander Maj. Gen. Randy Manner. “It is completely absurd to think that a small number… Read more »

As for Larry Johnson’s guess of a Special Forces Operation while Marines feint elsewhere, both require a massive airlift and air cover insertion ingress, cover during their operations and then massive egress extraction. We are talking 40-80 planes of all sorts. The suppression of Iranian Air Defenses alone will take… Read more »

Martyring the Imam gave Iranians moral imperative to remove hegemon’s assets from the gulf. Had Iran attacked first, they could not have done so righteously.

Those pussy-ass woke soyboys of the US military won’t get the uranium out.

The best they’d do is attacking with tactical nukes as you suggested, but that will have unintended consequences.

Who knows if Iran actually doesn’t have a nuke by this point? 🤷‍♂️

Watch Hezbollah and the Iraqi Shia Militias. They have real pain points in their control and the US has no way to help Zion in Lebanon and Iraq. This shores up a huge series of fronts, supply lines, reinforcements and becomes an anvil of fire for Iran to slam drones… Read more »

Putin is thinking of Valdai drone assassination attempt. And this war divides the US offensive capability and over-stretches logistics. The US has two wars. Russia and China only have one each. The bad part for the US hasn’t even begun. While Zion is already almost at its terminal point. Zion… Read more »
