Russia’s threat before Victory day – massive missile strikes on Kiev should the Victory Day celebrations be attacked, was devastatingly effective. Following is a short extract from President Putin’s Q & A at the end of Victory Day.

The Defence Ministry issued a certain initial statement – it is well known – that in case an attempt were made to disrupt our celebration events, we will respond with massive missile strikes on Kiev.

We did not limit ourselves to it. It was followed by a Foreign Ministry’s note, which is an official document, not just a declaration. But we did not stop there. We started working with our major partners and friends, primarily with our friends from the People’s Republic of China, India and some other nations, including with the US administration. … all the command and decision-making centres in Kiev are located in close proximity to the diplomatic missions of a number of countries – several dozen, in fact. When we began this dialogue with the US administration, we drew their attention to this matter, outlined the potential consequences, and asked them to do everything necessary to ensure the security of their country’s diplomatic mission.

As a result of all these discussions, US President Donald Trump proposed an additional two-day ceasefire and a prisoner exchange during that period.

We know that talks with Kiev are at a standstill and Russia upped the ante decisively.

Iran follows a similar tactic.  The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has warned the United States and its allies, saying that any attack on Iranian tankers or commercial vessels in the Persian Gulf or beyond will trigger a heavy and decisive response targeting American military centers in the region and enemy ships.

Iran Army Spokesperson Brigadier General Akrami Nia:

🔺 From now on, countries that follow the United States in imposing sanctions on Iran will face difficulties when passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

🔺 The enemy expected that Iran’s armed forces would be unable to resist or conduct military operations during the war.

🔺 However, up to the 40th day of the war, Iran maintained its military capability, managed the war effectively, and carried out both offensive and defensive operations.

🔺 In the end, the enemy realized it could not break this resistance and was ultimately forced into a ceasefire.

The kill rate of civilians in Southern Lebanon is now in double digits per day.  Yesterday the count was 26 martyrs killed as a result of the ongoing aggression against southern Lebanon.  The exact scenes that we witnessed in horror in Gaza, are being repeated by the zionist IDF.    Here is one such story:

This is how South Lebanon awoke this morning.
The morning in South Lebanon began with a drone strike carried out by a hostile UAV targeting a motorcycle on the Nabatieh road near Al-Sabah Secondary School. A man and his 12-year-old daughter were riding it.

According to field reports, the drone fired a first missile at them, but they survived the initial strike. In the moments that followed, the father tried to move away from the motorcycle and pull his daughter to safety. But the drone returned, launching a second missile directly at him, killing him instantly.

The young girl then attempted to flee, running dozens of meters away from the scene in terror, before the drone targeted the area yet again. A third strike critically wounded her, and she later succumbed to her injuries.

This was not crossfire. Not a battlefield mistake. A child was chased from the sky after watching her father murdered before her eyes.

Gaza is being further pummeled from the coast where IDF boats are indiscriminately shooting at wherever people are gathered.

Economics :  Supply chains are seizing up and will continue to do so from unexpected vectors.  This cannot be predicted with accuracy.

💣 Persian Gulf chaos chokes supply of world’s most-used industrial chemical

Hormuz tensions have triggered a sulfuric-acid shock, sending prices soaring, and threatening global supply chains of a chemical essential for food security, AI infrastructure, EVs and global manufacturing.

Sulfuric acid is produced from smelting copper/nickel or burning sulfur.

◻️ In Chile, the world’s top copper producer and largest sulfuric-acid importer for copper leaching, acid prices have more than doubled

◻️ Sulfur prices in Indonesia have surged over 80% (Argus data)

◻️ Nickel miners tied to Middle East supply are cutting EV battery & stainless-steel output

◻️ China, the world’s largest sulfur producer, has restricted exports to protect domestic fertilizer and food production
