US diplomatic missions blast out coordinated embassy warnings
Multiple US embassies across West Asia issued a series of identical security advisories warning US citizens of potential retaliatory strikes from Iran and allied resistance factions.
The diplomatic alerts warned that Tehran and its partners in the Axis of Resistance could target US interests, businesses, and associated institutions throughout the region and beyond, reflecting growing anxieties in Washington over its diplomatic and military footprint.
According to official advisories published by US diplomatic missions, US travelers in the region must maintain heightened vigilance amid a volatile security landscape.
The warnings specifically alerted citizens to prepare for sudden airspace closures, widespread flight cancellations, and severe travel disruptions.
The alerts covered twelve regional nations, including the Gulf states, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, Yemen, and Iran itself.

Qatar prepares to unveil major regional defense pact to bolster national military capabilities
Doha is set to announce a new regional defense alliance aimed at fortifying its national defense infrastructure and military readiness, Qatari Deputy Prime Minister Saud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani announced at the Global Security Forum in Doha.
According to Al Jazeera, the deputy prime minister confirmed that the Gulf state is putting the final touches on the upcoming strategic initiative, signaling a deliberate expansion of Qatar’s security arrangements in the region.
Addressing the forum, he asserted that each sovereign nation maintains its independent foreign policy priorities.
While specific details regarding partner nations and operational scope remain undisclosed, Qatari officials signaled that the official announcement of the defense alliance will be released shortly.
Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari: The world may already be in the first year of a Third World War if it fails to address the multiple crises.

It’s not genocide, it’s Iran:
Marco Rubio:
I think traditionally the American political class thought that peace in the Middle East, the core central issue, is the Palestinian question.
It’s an important issue. It’s not irrelevant. I’m not saying it’s irrelevant.
But I think what President Trump has exposed is that the number one driver of instability and war and conflict, and the number one obstacle to peace in the Middle East, is the Islamic regime in Tehran.

China seals last communication blind spot on Earth
Sputnik: In a first for the country’s space program, China’s homegrown GW satellite constellation has linked the Arctic, Antarctica, and the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau into a single network, Xinhua reports.
Conducted aboard the icebreaker Jidi along Arctic shipping routes, the test confirmed end-to-end connectivity with latency under one second and peak symmetric bandwidth of roughly 30 Mbps, sustaining unbroken links across more than 12,000 kilometers.
This breakthrough closes the final gap in global coverage, paving the way for maritime emergency response, deep-ocean monitoring, and a future globally integrated 6G network.

EU may lose control of frozen Russian assets to US – report
The US is considering taking oversight of hundreds of billions of dollars in Russian Central Bank assets frozen in Europe, most of them held at Belgium-based Euroclear.
According to the Financial Times, Europe could face intense political and legal pressure from Washington if the US pursues control of the funds.
👉 The newspaper suggests transferring the assets to a separate EU-backed institution to retain European control, while leaving Russia’s legal claims unresolved.
The assets were frozen following the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine in 2022, with the bulk held at Euroclear, Europe’s largest central securities depository.
Moscow has repeatedly denounced the freeze as illegal, warning that any seizure or use of the funds without its consent would trigger legal action and retaliation.

Prof. Robert Pape: ‘The likelihood of a NUCLEAR WEAPON being used against Iran has DOUBLED, and could increase further if escalation continues.’
‘When the war began in March, I would put it as under 10 percent likelihood of a nuclear weapon being used. I think those odds have now doubled…
Even though the odds of a nuclear weapon use are still rather low, this is a 20% [likelihood] of using nuclear weapons.
This is still a horrible situation, and we should be talking about what that would consequences would be, so they don’t go up.
Even a tactical nuclear weapon would spread radiation that would impact over 100,000 people in Iran. I’ve done the mapping, and this is then likely to trigger further escalation by Iran.
We are not in a position where when Trump moves up the rungs of the escalation ladder, he is going to escalate to our advantage. He may escalate. He may put pressure on Iran, but they will lash back.’

Pakistan receives their proverbial ‘Peace Prize’ and this acts as further pressure on breaking up the multipolar world.
Pakistan has been named the incoming chair of the Boards of Governors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group for 2027. This marks Pakistan’s first time holding the joint position in 74 years. Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema was announced as the incoming chair during the plenary session of the 2026 IMF-World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok.
The announcement coincides with Pakistan’s ongoing reliance on IMF support, including a $7 billion Extended Fund Facility (EFF), a $1.4 billion Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF), and an awaited $1.2 billion disbursement pending Executive Board approval.
India is livid.
