I don’t endorse Meyer’s implications, and I also find fault with some of his logic…what he does not say is what the ICE operations are actually intended to accomplish. I think that’s obvious, and wish he’d said it. Maybe later he will be brave and say it.

Far from it. It gives a very limited set of powers from the States to the central government…all other rights remain with the States or with the people. Their rights are natural – they come from God. The amendments are redundantly provided just to make sure. Read the Federalist Papers. Nearly everything the US Government is doing is inconsistent with the basic law, bluntly, unconstitutional, or actually illegal. Not that I object…that Great American Hero who ran the Northern War of Aggression pretty well trashed, destroyed, the constitution…and matters have simply continued to decline. And we can see that the constitution was probably unrealistic from the beginning…certainly it contained contradictions – lines of fracture. At best it was a temporary agreement, and even at that, ratification may have been faked…
I wish Napolitano would interview Garland Nixon…

I am ashamed that I missed the TNT/O error, but recall that I criticised Postol’s thesis that implied that the nature of a weapon had something, anything, to do with the nature of the reponse to it. A basic error in logic. I missed the chemistry. I do note that in the equation the “7 CO” fraction of released gas is combustible in air…very often explosives go through a series of secondary reactions in air…for example the fellas add some aluminum – which is heated by the TNT and then forms an air-fuel secondary explosive and lots of heat… but it’s, as said, not (free) O. I’m not a chemist either, but it’s middle school chemistry… Andre is an emotional guy. Postol a good hearted fellow. People do what they do… and everyone is worried about the future.
