The natural course of technical abilities ought to surprise no one. Note date of publication, May 2002… “The $5,000 dollar cruise missile”. https://aardvark.co.nz/pjet/cruise.shtml

excerpt> Experimentation with coatings containing finely ground ferrites may even offer some degree of radar absorbsion. The heat signature of a suitable engine could be significantly reduced by judicious entraining of slipstream air to dilute and cool the jet exhaust prior to ejection behind the craft. At the cost of some thrust, the jet efflux could also be channeled so that the engine itself is not visible even from a rear view.

Clever fella.  The model airplane comes of age before our eyes. And our Yemeni brothers, as well as, we assume, anybody else with a reason to do so, probably noticed…geewhiz, yatink?

Of That Good Fellow, Mister Alphabet https://unlimitedhangout.com/2024/07/investigative-reports/the-man-behind-trumps-vp-pick-its-worse-than-you-think/

While J.D. Vance has his own controversies, his close connection to billionaire Peter Thiel, who is poised to have unprecedented influence in a new Trump administration, should deeply unsettle every American who cares about freedom, privacy and reigning in the surveillance state

Thiel first recruited Vance into his circle while Vance was still a student at Yale Law School. Shortly thereafter, Vance joined Thiel’s investment firm Mithril Capital, where he worked for two years before joining Revolution Ventures. Vance played a major role in Revolution’s “Rise of the Rest” seed fund whose major investors included Amazon’s Jeff Bezos and the Walton family of WalMart, who boast long-standing deep ties to the Clinton family. Vance later launched his own venture capital firm Narya Capital in 2020, which was heavily funded by Thiel as well as former Google CEO Eric Schmidt.

In the affray zone 404, reports Mercouris  ( https://theduran.locals.com/post/5886106/rus-breakthroughs-shock-kiev-enters-chasov-yar-cuts-road-enters-sumy-jd-vance-rejects-globalism ) that the FAB3000 is going to have its range extended by the addition of a pulse jet engine. If so, as seems rather elegant and frugal (it’s basically a piece of sheet-metal pipe, and familiar as the motor the previous nazi gang used on England in episode W2), then we have some symmetry, a throw-away flying machine-bomb quite appropriate to be used against a nazi gang. The W2 flying bomb engine, makes, iirc, about 600 horsepower. The US copied and tested and used these early in the postwar period, and so did the Soviets. Even model airplane enthusiasts occasionally build small versions in home workshops. Anyway the old drawings must have been available. They make a nasty and terrifying sound. W2 nazi film V1 https://youtu.be/YJ-dAFQ6Jzo

The V1 flew at about 450 MPH.

In the Russian FAB3000 and pulse jet application the launch is anticipated to be from aloft via a drop from SU34 aircraft, as is at present the procedure.

Paraphrasing Doctor Johnson, “The prospect of getting shot concentrates the mind wonderfully”

The instance, however, specifies that there must be a mind to concentrate.

(The prospect of hanging concentrates the mind wonderfully. – Dr Johnson)

It appears that the elderly fella has been retired. Some say that there was very recently a highly vituperous verbal argument at the HQ, people yelling, between the Harris team and the old fella’s team. Such charming phrases as go phuck yerself.

In spite of myself I feel sympathetic for Trumpster, who’s “bought the ticket” (Hunter Thompson) and must now take the ride, and for the pathetic old crook. Both are so far in that only the fates are left to decide, their modulus of prospective actions approaches zero. Some say politics is a blood sport.

Time to break out Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar  “ The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, But in ourselves that we are underlings. ”

I wonder if Orange Man, who’s probably innocent of the Bard, is sophisticated enough to realize he’s kettled  by his own ambition. Somehow I doubt it. And a sound general assumption may be that because the attempt to murder him failed is not a reason to assume that it won’t be repeated.  Rather otherwise, I am sorry to say.

Some say that some terrible event will cause the ritual of election to be postponed, sine die

My view is that they have an election, CJ has “alphabet” all over him. Trump is probably pretty safe until after he’s sworn in.

(Kudos to amarynth for that term!)

It’s important for rulers that the people believe that they decided something, then the losers can blame the “winners”…  divide et imperia

    What a shameful time. Pathetic.

The charming and avunclear Comrade Grossman attributes to Pistorius a word new to me, which we expect ws previously of the lexicon of the mustachioed fella  “Kriegstüchtigkeit”

SQUARING CIRCLES FOR PEACE AND WAR

Yes, more or less unimportant, but it’s a cool word.

excerpt from Pistorius  “Once again we must get used to the idea that there could be a danger of war in Europe. And that means: We must become fit for war, we must be able to defend ourselves and position the Bundeswehr and society for it.

Well, they do say August tends to be warm in DC, what with summer an’ all. Pity about air-conditioning, DC used to slow down in the heated fetid airs of swampland summers. But let’s not condemn a whole program because of a single slip up, Mr President. Surely you remember Plan R…

Comrade Pepe Six Ways from Sunday to cancel it, by invoking a “national emergency”. Anything goes – from false flag terrorism to war.

An innarrestin’ possibility is that the back up plans by the several factions, which gangs Pepe sketches nicely, may not activate sequentially, but overlap, possibly reinforcing, or interfering, canceling, as waves do. Withal, emergencies that loom call for back-up plans. There’s no evident reason to cancel a plan just because the others are running, it’s a league game, keepers, and winner takes all. And plans well laid should be adaptable to contingencies, such as wrecking the opposing gang’s plan if that plan seems liable to result in outcomes that do not benefit one’s own.

A pirate cut-throat melee all ‘gainst all seems offing. But how many Divisions, asked Stalin. Speaking of the overarching power, to wit:

Pepe and Comrade Dan> https://youtu.be/qeIHdhTjXcE  Russia & NATO on brink of all-out war and Putin isn’t bluffing with this move.

At 21 on a travelin’ show, a favorite bar-pool game of mine was “cut-throat pool” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cutthroat_(pool)  I say favorite. I played it, but the great informative educational fun is to observe it. Often the prevailing player is not the best or most able, but the most cunning.

And in which ad hoc alliances form and dissolve in mysterious and subtle ways, all ending in betrayal.

The barkeeper, who may observe and end the game according what he decides, is in the Kremlin. Typically, the saloonkeeper, who has a 12 bore, watches for awhile. Cutthroat often ends in a fight, the beers spill, somebody calls the cops, gives the joint a bad reputation an’ all that stuff. 😉

cum granum salis… maybe a full bucket of salt. Hal-the Fink says Comrade Xi had a stroke at a meeting, and some factions lobby for strident policies. Neh, maybe…

Vance seems, if you like “self-groomed”, willing, ambitious, fundamentally angry…and naive, in the sense of Burroughs’ dictum about hustlers, unaware in the sense of lacking wisdom…he seems to lack the important quality of doubt.  Like the fella with the famous mustache, a corporal. Interesting that he’s changed his name twice. It probably isn’t going to change anything about the course of history, but he strikes me as potentially very dangerous.  The zionist aspect only adds to this. I assume the Mossad personality evaluation of him is aimed at knowing how to manipulate him, and that he’s like putty in expert hands. Some say he’s orange fella’s “insurance policy”. But that logic works two ways, doesn’t it? Think about the possibilities of, say, six or seven years as el presidente vance… if it lasts that long. Orange fella as shoe-horn, sorta like Jack and Lyndon. btw Alex Jones claim that Vance killed somebody (presumably in combat) does not seem to be true, Vance claims he was never in combat. I am surprised that he was never interested in OCS, or promoted past “corporal”, ie E3 or E4. I get the idea that, like the ambitious Truman, Vance simply got his ticket punched for reasons of political ambition. Harry was however, a Captain, and in combat. The CNN propaganda about Iran and a plan to whack the orange feller smells a bit like a whiff of the bullchit about Cuba doing Dallas, eh? Best! P

Previously I expressed that I have observed that under pressure marines “revert”.  The dear fellow was endorsed by no less a personage than Alex Jones due, he said, to the fact that he’s killed people. No kidding. Heard with my own ears. Strange endorsement. And it raises questions about dear Alex, eh? Values an’ all that stuff. Barry and  the female and the old guy and the rest, does Jones endorse them for the same reason? Why not? What times! I wonder who JDV killed…and why.
