Of course you had to hurry, before the radiation fallout contamination brought on the radiation sickness and stuff. Frequent fresh unsick freedom fellers were supposed to “relieve” the dead guys. Germwar agents were supposed to enhance the thrilling experience… We had movies and actual quizes an’ stuff…then we had rifle cleaning…some push-ups…practice saluting….hooorahh.

Sir Khalaf Al-Habtoor, my heart is squeezing as your heart is squeezing. Our children are scared, our mothers are crying, and the sky of our region is colored with smoke that is not our fault. This pain is real, and no one denies it. But pain alone does not make reality, and anger if directed to the wrong address will not protect us from the next blow. You ask Trump: ‘who gave you the right?’ And I am asking another, perhaps more difficult, and perhaps even more painful question: who gave our leadership the right to bet the future of the peoples of the region on the promises of a country that history has proved, time after time, that it has no allies, but only interests Let me remind you of what doesn’t need reminding: the Shah of Iran, 1979: Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, Washington’s closest allies in the region. He built his army with their weapons, opened his oil to their economy, fought their battles on behalf. And when he fell He didn’t even get a phone call. They let him die alone in exile as they negotiate with whoever brought him down. Saddam Hussein, the nineties: the same man whom Rumsfeld shook hands with in 1983 and provided him with intelligence information in his war with Iran, was the same one who later hung him in front of the cameras. A tool was used and then thrown away. Hosni Mubarak, 2011: thirty years of absolute loyalty to Washington. Guarding Camp David, securing the Suez Canal, and fighting terrorism on behalf. And when the street came out Obama said in a public speech, without the slightest modesty, “he must go”. Neither Trump, nor Biden, nor Obama is gone. Mubarak left alone. Kurds, 2019: the same Kurds who fought ISIS with their own blood side by side with American troops. Trump himself, yes himself, withdrew his troops with a tweet, leaving them under Turkish shelling. He didn’t bat an eyelid. Afghanistan, 2021: twenty years of promises. And billions spent. And the result A humiliating chaotic withdrawal, Afghans falling from the wings of airplanes as they cling to dreams let down by their own making. Do we need more evidence This is not a conspiracy theory. This is a documented history. America does not betray its allies, simply because it has never considered them allies. They are tools on a chessboard, moved when they work and removed when they expire. So why did we bet on the same losing horse Let’s be frank: the 2020 Abraham Accords were not a peace initiative in the true sense. It was a deal of interests presented in an elegant diplomatic wrapper. Of course, we sided with Israel, not because our peoples demanded it, not because the Palestinian issue was resolved, but because Washington wanted it. Promises of F-35s, recognition and partnerships were made to us. And what happened Israel has guaranteed Arab cover for its policies. Washington has secured a new Gulf loyalty. And we We have lost our credibility in front of the Arab Street, and we have distanced ourselves from our geographically closest neighbor, Iran, to ally with two countries that are thousands of kilometers away from us and do not share borders, waters, or history. The Foreign Ministry, the leadership, had to read the history before it read the texts of the agreements. The week that revealed everything but let me tell you what is more painful than the distant history. Let me tell you about the week before the strikes. Just a few days before our skies were on fire, the UAE Embassy in Tel Aviv held a Ramadan Iftar. Ramadan breakfast. In Tel Aviv. At the time when the Muslim children of Gaza were dying under Israeli shelling, without tents to shelter them, without water, without food, without even a shroud to wrap in. Children of our blood, religion and nation, killed by the weapons of the state at whose tables we sit, share dates and exchange smiles. What message did we send to the world that night What message did we send to Gazans breaking their fast, if they find something to break it with, under the rubble of their homes As if that wasn’t enough, just days before the strikes, the UAE’s foreign minister traveled to Washington and posted photos of himself with Israeli officials under the title “combating anti-Semitism”. The fight against anti-Semitism. The children of Gaza do not even have a tent to protect them from the cold. While mosques are bombed and hospitals are destroyed in the name of”self-defense”. This is not diplomacy. This is a complete detachment from the reality of our peoples and their suffering. Every decision that led here, these strikes did not come out of the blue. It did not fall on us from the sky without premonitions. Every step, every decision, every photo, every breakfast, every handshake, was a brick in the wall that surrounded us today. When we chose normalization, we ignored the fact that Israel does not want peace, but a cover. When we chose to fully align with Washington, we ignored the fact that America sees us not as partners, but as tools. When we had breakfast in Tel Aviv, we ignored the blood of our brothers in Gaza. When we went to talk about the fight against anti-Semitism, we ignored that there is a genocide happening before the eyes of the world. Every decision was a choice. And each choice could have been different. And each different path could have avoided us where we are today. The Strait of Hormuz, a neighbor before a distant ally, does not separate us from Washington. It separates us from Tehran. The missile does not require a visa or a diplomatic permit. It was the duty of sovereignty, not out of weakness, to build a balanced relationship with Iran. Not love for her regime, not approval of her policies, but because this is the logic of geography that does not change with the change of presidents in the White House. Germany and France fought two World Wars, The number of their dead is in the millions. And today The closest partners. Because they realized that the neighbor stays and the empires go. Instead, we have chosen to turn our backs on our neighbors and side with a historically transient superpower, and today we are paying the price for that choice. You say, sir, that the Gulf countries have contributed billions to peace initiatives and ask where they have gone. And I say: the more correct question is why did I pay in the first place Did you pay to build schools in Palestine To rebuild what was destroyed by the wars in Syria and Iraq Or did you pay a price for Washington’s complacency and a ticket to the White House admissions club When you pay billions to buy security from a country that has sold every former ally to it, you are not buying security. You are buying a postponement of the crisis. The crisis has arrived today. To the leadership, honestly and unequivocally Trump behaves as any great power behaves: according to its interests. We shouldn’t be surprised by that. The guilt is not the guilt of the wolf that preys, but the guilt of the shepherd who opened the door and left. It was the duty of our leadership to read history, to keep a safe distance between cooperation and subordination, and not to put all our eggs in the basket of those who openly admit that they put “America First”, that is, we are necessarily not even second. It was the duty of the State Department to build bridges with our neighbors before it built towers with temporary allies. The duty of the leadership was to protect its people from being drawn into a conflict created by distant powers who do not care who pays the price. I conclude with what Cyrus the great said more than 2,500 years ago: “no one can rule by violence forever. True governance is built on respect for peoples, on justice and on the wisdom of those who know that the strength of a nation is not in its weapons, but in the freedom of its people and the independence of its decision.”Our sovereignty is not protected by arms deals, nor by alliances with those who sit on the other end of the planet. Our sovereignty is protected when our decision is in our hands, when we know that geography does not change, but the promises of Empires evaporate like a mirage in our desert. People don’t forget who let them down. And history is merciless to those who have not learned from it.

In November 2025, Thiel sold his entire stake in NVIDIA and 76% of his shares in Tesla.
A couple of days ago, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said that the company’s recent $30 billion investment in OpenAI ‘may be the last’ investment in the artificial intelligence start-up before it goes public by the end of the year.
Huang noted that the possibility of investing $100 billion in OpenAI, the exact figure agreed upon by both companies as part of an infrastructure deal in September, is most likely ‘not on the table.’
Earlier this week, Thiel sold 2 million shares of his company Palantir, as I wrote about earlier
Yesterday, Thiel sold all of his remaining shares in other companies, including Apple and Microsoft.
Thiel sold everything. Now Thiel does not own a single share in any company.
Thiel is no fool. He is an insider. Perhaps the most informed insider. This is not just profit-taking. It is about risk diversification taken to the extreme.
When a man who built an empire on the digitisation of business processes cashes out, he is voting against the future. He is saying, ‘In the coming years, my money will be safer in liquid assets than in a business that depends on global supply chains, cross-border data exchange and the world.’ This is an escape from ‘asset risk’ to ‘risk-free money.’ This is usually done before a global recession, an equally global liquidity crisis, or a major war.
Thiel is not alone in his views. Michael Burry, who predicted the 2008 crisis, is short on Nvidia and Palantir shares.
At the same time that Thiel sold his shares, an American E-6B Mercury aircraft, known as the Doomsday Plane, flew to the Middle East.
This is the airborne command post of the US Joint Strategic Command, designed to coordinate nuclear strikes using strategic submarines and provide secure special communications during a nuclear conflict. It is the quintessence of government planning for a ‘worst-case scenario.’
Such aircraft are not flown for no reason. They are only flown when the probability that special communications ‘may’ be needed is no longer an abstract mathematical model. It cannot be ruled out that US President Donald Trump has indeed decided to use nuclear weapons against Iran.
As Donald Trump said:
‘It’s a waste of time. They’ve lost everything. They’ve lost their fleet. They’ve lost everything they could lose.’The US president ruled out the possibility of deploying American troops in Iran. He has no more trump cards left. Only the Joker remains.
The sale of assets by a player such as Thiel can be seen as the economic equivalent of the flight of the ‘Doomsday Plane.’ In both cases, preparations are being made for the rupture of the fabric of existing reality.
When informed representatives of the elite get rid of any risky assets and hide in money, and states hide their command posts in the sky, the general public thinks that nothing has changed, that life goes on as usual. In reality, however, the world has already frozen in its tracks before the EVENT or several EVENTS. One event (the sale of shares) is the movement of private capital in search of refuge. The second (the flight of the E-6B) is the movement of the state apparatus preparing for the worst.
Today, these trajectories have crossed. This means that the upheavals could be extraordinary, and the concept of a ‘safe haven’ will disappear in the coming years.
A massive market crash is coming.
In an extreme case, it will no longer be about money and territory, but about survival. The concept of the ‘red button’ is no longer a metaphor, but has become the subject of routine technical checks.

For myself I hold the opinion that if not for Lincoln’s treasonous war, the US would not exist…of course there were devilish forces behind Lincoln… and the forever unknowable “what would be in the place, America, if secession had been unopposed”… well, that’s a fine space for speculative writers and novels. As is what will soon be in the same place….that we may live to discover.
