way back during those muddled missing pilot days, AHH asked us what we thought we ought to do?  proposing, perhaps we ought to take a vote on whether to close up shoppe or carry on as well as we could without a helmsman?  the answers were fast & unanimous!   we all agreed to struggle on!  it was deeply felt that Global South was destined to be crucial, & that we had been entrusted to ensure that on your return you would find it alive, standing still & ready to go.  Mr P &  sudhi were brilliant, each able to compliment & relieve dear AHH.

stunning job, periol!   whilst juggling home ‘disruptions’, opening a new business, you ‘effortlessly’ (lol) provide us a morning avalanche of what’s happening; the essential need to knows, alongside what’s coming, where we’re headed & sometimes even a few off ramps.  intermixed with humour & a hit parade of beautiful music.   gosh, are you sure there’s only you?   i’d need a fleet & still end up short.  thank you, periol…hardly cuts it but it’s all i’ve got.  oh, yes, & God bless you.

dear Amarynth, i am so honoured & gratified by your request, dizzy in fact, & grateful that you’ve detailed so perfectly how i should manage it,  knowing my limits, truly thank you, unfortunately, regrettably i am accompanying a friend to the cancer clinic, her child is undergoing a rough round of chemo, & my time today is not really my own.  i am sorry to disappoint you, especially when on a normal day i’d gleefully push aside all plans in order to spend the day in the sahel while @ the same time able to be useful & return a small favour.  thank you for reaching out, i am very touched.
