There no longer is any doubt around the missile test fired into Siberia by Iran. 10,000 km ICBM, straight ballistic missile, to serve with a nuclear warhead which appears to be coming from North Korean tests. Whether the nuke warhead exists or not doesn’t matter. The missiles does, and that means they are 80% to deterrence. A warhead without a missile is useless. A missile without a nuke can still carry a very heavy conventional warhead and the range and speed make it indefensible to the US. Thus, deterrence will be in their posture. NK is the model.
Meanwhile, Putin is working all the back channels to deal with Trump. Can’t go through the Oval Office. They filter everything. And CIA has to be avoided. KeymasterClimate change … some Russian fellow just sent me this. It must fadge with the Russian research which looks different from the western research … otherwise he would not have sent me. I don’t know .. but anyways. I never believed in climate change really – like most of us I saw the financial and technological plays, until I realized that the Russian permafrost is really melting.

A fun story. Yesterday I went to our small local supermarket because the house was a little empty. If I have a heavy bag to lug home, I go with a motoconcho, too nice – regular driver and he comes when I message him. So, the cold up north at this time of the year sometimes pushes down to us here in the warm world. It is not serious .. We sleep with a light cover now and wear a thicker t-shirt. I still do not wear shoes in the house. No need, it is not cold enough. So my motochoncho driver arrives and he is dead scared that it will snow. I laughed – he has never seen snow. I asked if they have covers for the night and he assured me that they have. I told him not to drink anything cold at night but make a hot drink and he was amazed at that simple remedy.
So besides our area being worried about TEAM PEDOPHILE, they are so unused to cold, that they are worried about snow at 20C and today, sunny skies. This morning my neighbor comes around, telling me I should close my doors – and my kitchen window is open! No, I say .. I want fresh air in the house – just like every morning.
But, I did wake up late – it must be a little cold.

KeymasterThere was nothing wrong with the legalities of the 25 year contract for two ports at either end of the Canal when Blackrock wanted to buy them just a few months ago and the Hong Kong management company said they are not for sale. I guess Trump is helping his buddies here – its getting to be mid-terms, if there is one. I’ve not seen major coverage in the Chinese press but will watch Nuri Vittachi. You know MrP, Michael Hudson says if debt cannot be paid, it will not be paid. I stretched that to say if trade cannot be done, it will not be done. Panama is nuts here and a knife is again at their throats I’m pretty sure. Trade will not be done. Just like the Chinese stopped buying Venezuelan oil because they would not pay the US. These ‘political wins’ is going to hasten the fall of the wannabe imperials and locals will suffer. We watch the two other ports, in Peru and West Coast of Mexico.
