    A change in operational reporting

Russian Defence Ministry report on the progress of the special military operation – combined part 1 and 2:

    https://t.me/mod_russia_en/7606

    (29 May 2023)

    Part I (see Part II)

◽️The Russian Armed Forces launched a long-range air-based high-precision weaponry strike against the enemy targets at the airfields.

💥 The goal of the attack has been reached. All the assigned targets have been neutralised.

💥 As a result of the strike, the AFU command posts and radar stations, as well as aircraft, and munition depots have been hit.

◽️In Kupyansk direction, the attacks, launched by aviation, as well as the artillery of the Zapad Group of Forces, have resulted in the neutralisation of the enemy units close to Novomlynsk, Kislovka, Glushkovka (Kharkov region), and Stelmakhovka (Lugansk People’s Republic).

    ….

Ed Note:  The previous reports at this point, had a sentence as follows: The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.  This was a clear demarcation of a special operation and the daily reports from the front line.

This time, the overall header states:  Russian Defence Ministry report on the progress of the special military operation

My question is if the special operations now are included in the daily operations, and they will continue as part of daily operations?  If so, it means a Russian escalation of the SMO.

    …..

💥 The actions of 2 Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been suppressed close to Sinkovka (Kharkov region), and Rozovka (Lugansk People’s Republic).

💥 The enemy losses were up to 65 Ukrainian servicemen, 3 motor vehicles and D-20 and D-30 howitzers.

◽️In Krasny Liman direction, the attacks, launched by Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, as well as artillery of the Tsentr Group of Forces, have resulted in the neutralisation of the AFU units close to Makeevka, Chervonaya Dibrova (Lugansk People’s Republic) and Grigorovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

💥 The enemy losses were up to 55 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 pickup trucks, 1 D-20 howitzer and 1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system.

◽️In Donetsk direction, as a result of intensive action of the units, air strikes and artillery fire of the Yug Group of Forces, the enemy losses were up to 145 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 armoured fighting vehicles, 2 pickup trucks, and 1 D-30 howitzer.

💥 1 U.S.-manufactured AN/TPQ-50 counterbattery warfare radar has been destroyed near Orlovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

💥 2 ammunition depots of the AFU 79th Airborne Assault Brigade have been destroyed close to Maksimilyanovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

◽️In South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, the attacks, launched by aviation and artillery of the Vostok Group of Forces have resulted in the neutralisation of the enemy units close to Ugledar (Donetsk People’s Republic), Malinovka, Belogorye, and Kamenskoye (Zaporozhye region).

💥 The enemy losses were up to 140 Ukrainian servicemen, 10 motor vehicles and 2 D-30 howitzers.

💥 1 AFU ammunition depot has been destroyed near Otradnoye (Donetsk People’s Republic).

◽️In Kherson direction, the enemy losses were up to 20 Ukrainian servicemen, 3 pickup trucks, 1 D-30 howitzer and 2 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems.

💥 Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, and Artillery of the Russian Group of Forces have engaged 87 AFU artillery units, manpower, and hardware in 124 areas during the day.

💥 1 hangar with weapons and military equipment of the AFU 126th Territorial Defence Brigade has been hit near Berislav (Kherson region).

◽️ In addition, a command and observation post and a missile and artillery weapon depot of the AFU 110th Mechanised Brigade have been hit close to Avdeevka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

💥 Air defence have intercepted 3 Storm Shadow cruise missiles and 13 HIMARS multiple-launch rocket system projectiles.

◽️ Moreover, 14 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have been shot down close to Verkhnekamenka, Novodruzhesk, Pshenichnoye (Lugansk People’s Republic), Yasnoye (Donetsk People’s Republic), Vasilyevka, Lyubimovka and Kostantinovka (Zaporozhye region).

📊In total, 429 airplanes, 235 helicopters, 4,371 unmanned aerial vehicles, 424 air defence missile systems, 9,324 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, 1,100 fighting vehicles equipped with MLRS, 4,934 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 10,527 special military motor vehicles have been destroyed during the special military operation.

It is a pretty real thing for us, I mean en famille.  We are a multi-cultural marriage and we do talk.

But yes, I’ve seen it said – the folks have no agency.

The folks in many other places were not allowed agency.  Take a look at the piece from the Russian MFA that I just posted.  How to split oneself into a pretzel morally?  Where to find kindness?   I think the dog would be more wise.

“The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read or write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and re-learn.”

I’m not with the existential.  Nobody wants to remove them from existence – Only their tactics and influence.  They may keep their lives.

Have a wonderful weekend!  Yard sales were one of my absolute most favorite activities when we lived in the US.  And after, coffee at a book store.  In Africa books were expensive.  In the US, for my eyes, dirt cheap.   Those were still good days.

    Gotta add the word Field.

Oh dear god … these people have taken complete and forever leave of their senses.  What are they going to be like when they are octogenarians.

I have no idea if this is slick propaganda or slick AI or perhaps true.

Ukrainian neo-Nazis. Epic events are unfolding in Germany but no one seems to talk about them.

A top ranked German General Andreas Marlow has been appointed to train Ukrainians at an “international training center” but after realizing who he is actually dealing with, he contacted the prosecutor’s office and the German MOD to launch an investigation on Ukrainian war crimes against Russian POV’s and civilians.

During his work with the Ukrainian neo-Nazis soldiers he pointed out in particular that Ukrainian soldiers trained at the bases of Wildflecken and Hummelburg repeatedly bragged and showed videos of brutal tortures and executions of Russian prisoners of war, confirming Ukrainian involvement in war crimes.

Although dozens of German officers saw these videos, they were ordered not to disclose what they saw in oder to avoid ruining Ukraine’s “reputation”. Since many of German officers do not want to lose their official posts, they do not make the facts of the Ukrainian war crimes public. Funny enough, it gets even worse, Ukrainian soldiers according to the report have showed great interest in the archives of the Nazi SS torture programs and repeatedly asked their German trainees to be familiarized with the archives of the “special methods” used against the Soviet captives during the WW2.

Apparently Marlow is one of the few generals in the west who will not step over his honor and will not accept the policy of concealing war crimes even if it will cost him his position or rank. He is convinced that the torture facts must be investigated, and the officers should be allowed to speak up on what they saw during their work with the Ukrainians. Even though Marlow submitted a formal application to Duscha Gmel – the federal prosecutor at the Federal Court of Justice, and a copy to the German Ministry of Defense back in February of 2023, he still did not receive any official response from the authorities. Lieutenant General Andreas Marlow can be contacted directly to verify the information:

It’s a wild time.  We are in the oppositional forces of the economic thrust of the whole world bursting forward seeing some hope and willing to fight for it, and the empirical forces fiercely escalating and fighting for their empire.

    The escalation will continue.

We’ve never in our world (besides maybe ancient human civilizations that existed in earthly history that we do not know) seen a time like this.

We had a small medical emergency today.  I was desperately writing and dealing with the emergency, there was pot roasted chicken on the stove and I turned it off and declared it cooked (ha).  Anyway, I’ve just had breakfast and lunch.  Yikes, I’m tired.

The night SMO has just kicked off and missile launches from Russian Air Force strategic bombers are reported.

US has been preparing Ukrainian counteroffensive ‘for months’ – Nuland

I’m fixing for an update on the LAC but at the moment I would not go to Peru. We still have major street action there, I have not seen whether the Chinese mines have opened again because they could not transport their product, and there still is general chaos. Hang on with Peru!

It’s funny in the Hearty Salon.  It inherits some rules from the main Global South Site, and others, it does not.

You can post images by the dozen (but please do not do that lol!)  But it hiccups on more than 2 or 3 links.  That is inherited, because a common sign of spam, is links upon links upon links.  So, many links – it goes to spam, except for the Salon, it goes nowhere, because in reality, we have no rules here.  One can either be a dictator on rules or live with the software.

    @AHH

    Dear Sir,

I’m going nuts and cannot keep up.  (Gotta load us a bunch of icons but they cost money and that is besides the point).

I think in the RT India TG this morning (I put it in my head but too much else crowded it out), two maybe important snips on Pakistan.  One is that they want to search Khan’s house, compound, area .. wherever he lives, but they promise not to arrest him again, and the other is some fighting about the latest IMF loan.

Over to you my friend!  Should you be kind enough to try and pick it up.

To Mr P (and others of course)

You were talking about the Russian strike on the Ukrainian weapons and the wind direction and so on.

Vanessa Beeley had these few comments. It starts here: https://t.me/VanessaBeeley/14669 and I leave it to you to make sense of (if there is sense).

The radiation detectors sited in Poland to the NW of the explosion in Ukraine show a highly significant increase in gamma radiation. The wind direction is SE so this fits with a plume from the explosion site. Uranium daughters Thorium-234 and Protoactinium 234m have gamma ray decays. The 94kev gamma ray from Th-234 is a 6% decay but there is a lot of Uranium. So they would show up on the Eurados detectors.

Access to the European gamma detectors network has been blocked by the German server.

The Radioactivity Environmental Monitoring (REM) group of the European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC)

“The Eurados monitors have sharply risen by about 50% to the NW of the explosion site. More than 4 Standard Deviations, so statistically significant . Not a Radon spike as no frontal weather systems. Wind is SE so this stuff is coming to Berlin and across Europe, whatever it is. Could be Uranium.Black smoke UO2. Contrary to the bullshit, Uranium is a weak gamma emitter due to the short life daughters Th234 and Pa234m and so would appear on the Eurados gamma detectors if there were enough of it. Alternatively maybe they will get a bit of beta through the windows.” — Dr. Chris Busby

Hi AHH, you know something? … I found a way to confirm or not, the idea that Khan is perhaps a western stooge or darling or carbon cutout, whichever.  But oh dear, it will take some time and I’m not volunteering lol.

The crazy idea is to go through all of the UN General Assembly votes and see how Pakistan voted in actuality while Khan was leader.  It will be telling, but too much work indeed!    So we wait and see what comes.  My interest is mainly geopolitical and I cannot bear to see another internal destabilization.

Another thing .. just a fun thing and a little meaningless .. having grown up in a British Colony, everyone knows how to cheat at cricket.  I don’t know if you’ve watched them, but the bowlers usually polish the ball against their clothing or sometimes with a towel.  The fast bowlers may have something in their pocket, or a button on their uniform, or something such like or even scratch it with a fingernail.   So, this is called ball tampering, to change the aerodynamics of the ball.  I mean those guys bowl like over 150 kilometers.  I guess this is a common cheat if even I know about it, and I’m not a cricket fan.  The cricket school boys can give one lessons in this and it is there that I learned about ball tampering.

I’ll weigh in on the issue of Pakistan.

People seem to forget that Khan was ousted just after he returned from a visit to Putin and Russia.  That tells a lot.

The last riots were not western backed because there was no sign of western backed tactics and methods.  I watched many videos and this stands out.

The west by the name of the US/UK, lawfared him.  So, they cannot like him very much.

I’ll keep my comments to geopolitical sphere.

In the Mercouris video that AHH posted, Mercouris agrees that Khan has the ability to bring Pakistan to a standstill.  He also feels that Khan was not a good leader per se.  But what he says, is that if Khan takes part in the upcoming election, he will most certainly win, BUT and it is a BIG BUT … the situation has deteriorated to the extent that even if he wins now, the destabilization of Pakistan is complete and it is questionable if it can be brought under control.

AHH says that Russia and China did not say much about the first ouster of Khan.  I disagree.  They did not say much, but what they said is completely within what they profess.  China stated that the relationship with Pakistan is not a relationship with political parties, but is a relationship country to country and not political party to country.  They will make their decisions based on whether Pakistan remains friendly with China, or not.

There was much Russian media, of course after the visit of Khan to Putin.  You did not see it, because it was not the usual Foreign Office statements, but statements from Putin himself.  This one is the most important from the visit:

The leaders of the two countries discussed the main aspects of bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on current regional topics, including developments in South Asia.

So geopolitically the South Asia area is, to say the least, jumpy.  The threat of terrorism is large.  China and Russia is concerned about any destabilization because of this.  At the moment Pakistan is under an unelected junta.  This is not a government that will gain trust in the eyes of Russia and China.  The current leadership cannot call elections, because they will lose and they know it.

So, most needed, is not screeds of tearing Khan apart, it is stabilization.  As with Erdogan (and I really don’t like him), I am hoping that he will finally win with the runof election.  There will be a level of known stabilization.  So with Pakistan.  I would rather have an immensely popular leader that works with his people, than some unelected bunch.  I will not comment on the religious aspects – all that stands out for me, is that if I look at any other leader in the world, I look at effectiveness, and not at religious dogma.

The situation, and this is not Khan’s fault, is a dream come true for the West.  Khan did not lawfare himself.  If the current leadership wanted to oust Khan, they went about it in the most incredibly stupid way that one could even think of.  That is where the Western collusion can be found.  They divided the country, knowing that Khan is popular.  All the destabilization that they want, and they can continue with growing tame terrorist groupings, take the eyes away from the efforts to stabilize Afghanistan, and create regional chaos.

Well done, unelected junta.   You worked yourself right into a Western dream come true and Khan is gaining popularity as we go!

Kahn may not be the best administrator.  But show me a country that came through Covid unscathed with a beautiful economics picture.  There are very few .. Iran to an extent because they were already hardened against Western games.  China of course and Russia is riding high economically.  There are a few more, but they worked their Covid measures totally differently.  In terms of the slowdown of CEPAC, that does not bother me, because many many Belt and Road projects slowed down to basically maintenance mode.  They are picking up now, and we will see a massive Belt and Road summit in China not very long into the future.

Khan has something going for him and that is the complete adoration of the younger Pakistani.  In today’s environment, that must be used and not abused.  It is a gift to have that cohesion.  Give him the best economists that can be found, work with the neighboring countries on the problem of terrorism to gain hope in the eyes of Russia and China, and elect your darned officials!  Throw out the Western influences.
