I’m running pretty ragged here, just didn’t have enough time to gather much news outside of the USrael-Iran War. Probably not going to change much this weekend, I have lots on the agenda and the nursing continues apace…

Hi Periol, I think you did a marvellous collection.  There is not much outside of the war as this is now world wide and basically all major decisions are war driven decisions.  In among the articles that I have in for posting there is one that is not war related and I found it just boring.  It felt it does not fit.

SmoothieX12 = the most frustrating friend.  I love him and hate him all at the same time.  Good heart, somewhat of a …. wait, let me not say it but there are issues there on ‘3rd world countries’.  Our good friend, the 95% one said to me to calm down as he will detox from MAGA sooner than later.  Long history.  I’ve beaten him up, but gently, when he started dissing China for no reason whatsoever.  I’ll never forget it .. To his credit, he just dropped that line.  Possibly because I threatened that I will put the china writer’s group on him lol.  I’m not joking – I did and to boot explained the China/Russia relationship clearly.

Yes, friend, who is my goto weapons person and will take his t-shirt off to warm me up if I was cold!  Taught me exactly what the function is of drones in modern warfare and a few other things as well.

cronetoo – yes, there is a lot of running away.  But last night was hell in Tehran .. same as initial in Gaza .. firebelts, shooting deliberately at areas where non-combatants gather – now warplanes are being shot down.  It took awhile.

Periol – Yes, massive amounts of data.  Don’t know if it will help but the only skewed source that I see in this lineup, is Shahid Bolsen — Speaks like a Nightingale sings, but totally pro-Saudi exceptionalist, Islam will take over, whichever arm I don’t know – takfiri or wahabi overtones in the Bolsen group, whatever the case may be.  (first hand experience – AHH laughed me outa da house!)

During these times, I shrink sources – even just two or three that are clear are better than trying to present a wide variety.  It is these times where the sheep and the goats can be distinguished.

Mr P, I picked up somewhere that one would need a massive thing to shoot an aircraft carrier … Like a nuke or an Oreshnik or massive firepower.  Would you know?  They say 4 missiles went flying against one of the carriers, but I have no idea of what it would take to do damage?  Do you have an idea?

Iran has not stopped for more than 10 hours now.  They are sending missiles to everything .. Hotels in Dubai, Bahrain and Jordan (said to be hangouts of Israeli and US planners) ,  Bahrain to US bases,   I cannot follow where all but they have not stopped – I cannot follow where in Israel.    Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Saturday that “regime change” in the Islamic Republic of Iran is an “impossible mission.”  Professor Marandi says Iran has hundreds of thousands of missiles and drones in its missile and drone cities that were prepared for a potential US attack, which is a much more powerful adversary than Israel.

Crone, I don’t see a major increase in oil prices yet .. everything is up but mostly less than 3% across the board. Let’s watch now as Hormuz is now closed for sure … best I can determine.
