with that many lawyers & judges, this is just the beginning!  one of my brothers was a qc.  he loved representing injured farmers & widows against corporate, government swindlers.  most of his cases never went to trial, they were swiftly settled out of court.  he was a wolverine, he’d patiently stalk & set the game with excruciating precision, it would drag on in circles of minutia, seemingly nonsense crumbs & then in the blink of sleep laden lids something would snap so loudly everyone in the house knew the case was slam dunk closed.  seems likely that if an insignificant qc in woodchuck alberta canada could spin & weave such a tidy rope i marvel @ what putin & team might think to do. a trial run, so to say, in preparation for the upcoming war tribunals.

i did not know america was training Ukrainians in 2012, but it’s quite possible russia did.

putin’s early speeches carry a wary undercurrent.  in 2012 russia was still in the early stages of her recovery, but she clearly had a plan & a goal, as well as reasons for securing her security both financially & militarily.  it’s obvious she was working full throttle on new weapons, testing them, returning to the scrum, refurbishing & bolstering her larder & reserves, & deploying the high art of securing friendships & allies.   it’s my feeling that russia has for some years foreseen this inevitable reckoning.  minsk, was not so much a naive act of faith, but a clear understanding empire always lies & minsk was a trap whereby mother could continue to arm & set the theatre while securing documentation of war crimes for the inevitable trials; evidence (along with bio lab documentation) that empire was the aggressor; deceitful, dishonest & agreement incapable.  i believe the negotiations for surrender will be drawn out.  sherpas will carry copious documents, meetings will proliferate, nato capitals around the globe will have to convene to cover numerous, all but endless points to prove & reconsider & try to weasel out from under.  russia will continue to methodically attrit & ruin.   russia will not agree to sign a document with an unelected president, & even if 404 has elections which comply with all the rules the rules based order can conceive, russia will want nato’s signature.  on copious copies, enough to fill registries of the united nations, every capital of europe & the entire global south.    trumpster will trumpet, he’ll flaunt & flare bullying nato into complying & to organize itself to sit as a japanese prime minister was forced to on some ship @ some small table while the camera rolls.    & as dumpster bullies this masterstroke of diplomacy into reality, russia will advance, & the year will drag on.
