KeymasterYeah, the faction that wants the USSR back. And the USSR’s depiction of communism, which was not pretty. Cruel, and fascist. Let him dance on but those days are gone. This is exactly why Mao broke with them because the issue of the traditional workers was ignored. This treatment is what caused the Sino-Soviet split.

KeymasterYup. I still maintain Iran must do a defensive strike. In my thinking, they have the legal ground to stand on. They have been threatened enough. This will make this whole thing gone .. over and Gaza and the region can be helped. It is clear that on the ground the zionists cannot stand and are being decimated. Now take out the airforce and stop fiddling with warnings and releases and talking and breast beating.

Explainer: Why Iran’s Kheibar Shekan-2 can overpower THAAD anti-missile system

KeymasterIt is breathtaking how these people can start arguing about missiles and THAAD and everything under the sun that goes bang. THAAD is a wunderwaffe and a child without a calculator can figure the inability of that thing to change a thing. They all forget the short distances that we deal with, and drones? They’ve already forgotten what a drone with 2 teeny missiles did yesterday.
They also forgot GAZA. They also forgot the West Bank. They also forgot what this is all about. If they did not, they would analyze those missiles with a more respectful tone – kinda understand that this massive killing power that they are treating like lawnmowers .. my mower is better than yours. Will any of this discussion make a material difference? Help me out .. wil it?
War, (I do not for a moment denigrate Smoothie’s work, but he is talking about Russia, decades ahead in weapons development in all the world), is not always won by who has the best toys. We can always mention Vietnam or Afghanistan as a start. I have seen three African countries change leadership (fall or stand up, depending on your stance) with simple AK47’s and the Chinese derivative equivalent, and not much war. War is fought by people with a real reason, a messianic will, and those are the ones that win, on the battlefield or in the negotiation rooms. And sometimes they lose on the battlefield or they get snookered in the negotiation rooms. Weapons are part of this equation, but not the only part. It is an ugly phenomenon in our world.
Aah my temper is short. My stupid mouse broke and its wheel does not want to turn. I can only get to a ‘mouse shop’ somewhere in the afternoon. So I have to use scrollbars to scroll up and down.
Let’s look at this a little realistically.
-This THAAD complex is a wunderwaffe, sent in to get US boots on the ground, just the same as the pier onto the Gaza coast. It is meaningless as a missile defense in these circumstances and how can we for a moment accept that the reason is true. They lie as a principle.
– They do not have anything else. They cannot attack Iran, but the probability is that they will try, because they want perpetual war, and not to win a war. It is perpetual war that is the danger because USrael cannot win.
– The question is will Iran defend, or will Iran attack? Like I said I don’t believe that they established deterrence. They only closed one avenue and the barbarians will plan for a different avenue to get their war. Their avenue to tame Pezeshkian failed (thank heavens!) They were clearly attempting to recruit him as a poodle.
– The talk that Russia gave Iran S400s and other goodies is talk. There is not an iota of fact or evidence around that and I know that some people that are experts say this. (I hope they did, but I’m skeptical – perhaps Iran will buy some Russian weapons with the signing of the agreement scheduled for BRICS).
So as you said AHH, in a comment, this all does not matter. What matters here is the Israeli air force and I do not know why Iran did not take out their full air force. That would have established deterrence for the region.
Russia and China are working in the background. God help the USrael if they attack. I do not believe Russia and China will accept another war. And their work will establish real deterrence. To my mind, Iran has to work closely with these two allies, and even strike pre-emptively. Russia found a legal foot to stand on in terms of international law for the Ukraine .. Iran has just been illegally sanctioned again with the objective to destroy the oil trade. That is reason enough no?
OK, back to work (grins).

KeymasterThanks Grieved. That is very excellent. We should try to make a transcript or at the least a summary of some of the encapsulations that she makes. I’m thinking of how to recognize fascism for example. Or the piece on Ukraine is excellent, just those few steps of how that country was changed.

KeymasterScott Ritter is very excited. I don’t know if the S400 and Russian Pilots are correct but if it is? I also – the analysis shows it – that the US wants Iran. We need to stop thinking Israel/US. It is one cat. I like Michael Hudson’s term, israel is the cat’s paw. So, they want Iran – and they can’t. So, Scott’s story? I don’t know. Overall, I think this is part of it.

KeymasterThanks for this Mr P. I did of course not even try to follow the math but the few points that came up are good to know, i.e., lots and lots of artillery to take something out. That is why I felt that Iran did not reach any kind of deterrence with their attack.
Here now is what is knocking me for a six this morning. I just posted in the Daily Chronicles:
The empire has chosen its war – Abandoning Ukraine and choosing Near East West Asia.
Hebrew media: 100 US Marines will be deployed to Israel to prepare new defense systems. (It will be more of course and this allows us to see the trajectory – israel first).
So, the US is in there, boots on the ground. This thing is going to go out of control before we can say Jack Robinson.
There is also this: https://sputnikglobe.com/20241013/idf-halts-beirut-air-strikes-after-bidens-call-but-southern-lebanon-still-under-fire-1120535210.html
They want Iran. And, then they will get Russia – think of that agreement between Russia and Iran, that will be inked at BRICS.

KeymasterRussian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov
“We are closely and anxiously following the events, the risk of a large-scale conflict is indeed high. The tendency to escalate into a full-scale conflict is a real danger. We call on all parties to exercise restraint. We are in intensive dialogue with the countries of the region. And once again – a major war can be avoided, but everyone must show restraint,” the Deputy Minister said.

KeymasterHi Grieved, this is a huge topic. Let me finish my work, and then I’ll add my thoughts.

KeymasterSuspiciousObservers have been around for many years. I stopped researching all this, because of the mess in the US. They were just fighting with the one faction fighting the other and churning out suspicious information only to try and win an argument. SuspiciousObservers were one of the reasonable crowd in the bunch.
Then I came across Professor Valentina Zharkova – and hit the motherlode, at least for me.
Her work is not easy to follow. She does research in Solar Plasma Physics and Space Physics. She answered all the global warming and global cooling issues for me to the extent that I am content in what I think nowadays.
I cannot summarize her work, it is too big and I’m too dumb in the field. So, one will have to listen. Nutshell is whatever happens on the sun has real measurable and even predictable effects on earth. It sounds so common, but there are many that do not see that or even believe it.
And do a search. There is much of her work on YouTube.
Jeff J Browne who leads the China Writer’s Group has done much work on weather modification. He believes that Helene has the same or similar traits to the Maui fires in Hawaii. There, billionaires like Oprah Winfrey want the land to create a private island. This time, it looks like a resource grab by Elon Musk for lithium, as well as quartz mining.
I did not watch the first storm, but this one, Milton, I can say was modified. After living in hurricane area for now about 20 years, with a sailor husband who studied these things upside and downside, this last one is just too strange. If you look at the historical track, it brewed up in the Gulf of Mexico and I looked all through history – there was no other one that did that – not enough time and not enough water temperature to develop into a Cat 5, for us, in a scant 24 hours. It has never been seen before. And then, its course was first east (they mainly run West NorthWest in these areas) and then it reversed toward the south. What on earth was these wind patterns? And it is then that it sideswiped us, but we are far enough away .. and then it turned again and now is on the way to Florida, a hurricane that is now according to NOAA, off the charts. Well, it was off the charts in its whole development.
A little beachside village, about 80 kilometers away from us, is flattened. Another port city close to us lost basically their fishing fleet. I don’t know how much is destroyed otherwise. And the hurricane passed on the coast further than what was predicted. It did not touch land. And here they don’t build houses with sticks .. it is all either rock or brick housing. People are also generally very prepared, they don’t panic, they go about doing their preps and then hunker down.
We were fine and only experienced winds and driving rain – short power interruptions. But the whole feel of this hurricane was not right to me. I wrote to AHH to let him know I may be out of it for a time and said .. I don’t like how the wind feels on my skin, I don’t like the color of the sky, I don’t like the direction of the clouds, I don’t like how the trees are waving in the wind. There was nothing that felt like a ‘normal’ hurricane to me. If you know these weather systems, well, I don’t know about others but I can feel them.
So all I can say to people on the track is to get out in front of this one.
I also think that the raft of old and new viruses blowing up everywhere is as a result of climate change (not the financial and economic scams). When I looked at the Russian information and technical research, I saw that the permafrost is really melting, so, I started accepting climate change. Discuss this with a good farmer who know their lands and area over time, and they will tell you the same.
That is my piece (smiles).
