KeymasterI knew it .. not 2 minutes and the wailing starts .. they did not veto, they abstained … therefore they are fill-in-the-blanks. But understanding why the abstention .. oh no, that is too much like hard work.
People need to read the previous abstention speeches of both China and Russia .. and the speeches at the start of this one. The reasons are clear. It is not according to international legal norms and they will not participate as it is all wrong, from inception. This month the US is in the chair … What do we expect? And Israel is not fulfilling its UN mandate. This one .. oh my, not even a word on the resolution that the US and Israel started this war. Not a damn word. Iran is wrong and that is all there is.
The whole UN plus its tentacles are way off the mark. I cannot say why Russia and China are still there but nobody should be.
It is not Russia and China – it is this group of countries:

Are these countries unaware of the dirty games that are being played here? Are we in such a bad state that they go and vote for such crap, where the names of the US and Israel are not even on the resolution? We’re in a world of idiots. I changed my mind on the UN and its tentacles. It is not the systems that are wrong, yes, they are broken, its the bloody fools that inhabit the place.

“Unless an attack on Iran is launched from their territory.” The U.S. is literally launching strikes on Iran FROM those countries right now. Al Udeid in Qatar. Al Dhafra in the UAE. Ali Al Salem in Kuwait. Bases in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman. That’s where American bombers, fighters, and drones are flying from. Iran isn’t saying “we’ll stop.” They’re saying “tell America to leave or we keep hitting you.”

Hi Periol, I think you did a marvellous collection. There is not much outside of the war as this is now world wide and basically all major decisions are war driven decisions. In among the articles that I have in for posting there is one that is not war related and I found it just boring. It felt it does not fit.

Keymastercronetoo – yes, there is a lot of running away. But last night was hell in Tehran .. same as initial in Gaza .. firebelts, shooting deliberately at areas where non-combatants gather – now warplanes are being shot down. It took awhile.
Periol – Yes, massive amounts of data. Don’t know if it will help but the only skewed source that I see in this lineup, is Shahid Bolsen — Speaks like a Nightingale sings, but totally pro-Saudi exceptionalist, Islam will take over, whichever arm I don’t know – takfiri or wahabi overtones in the Bolsen group, whatever the case may be. (first hand experience – AHH laughed me outa da house!)
During these times, I shrink sources – even just two or three that are clear are better than trying to present a wide variety. It is these times where the sheep and the goats can be distinguished.
