⭕ — 🇵🇸/🇮🇱 NEW: Al-Qassam Brigades have delivered the coffins of Israeli prisoners Shiri Bibas, Ariel Bibas, Kfir Bibas, and Oded Lifshitz, all killed by Israeli airstrikes, to the Red Cross

⭕ Al-Qassam Brigades’ military media has released official photos of the delivery of four Israeli prisoners’ bodies, marking the 7th batch in the first phase of the prisoner exchange deal.
Saraya Al-Quds has published photographs from today’s prisoner exchange, featuring one of their fighters making the famous hand gesture that symbolizes the martyred Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah’s words: ‘They will enter vertically and leave horizontally.’

    💠@Yemen | Bab-el-Mandeb:
⭕ Today, the bodies of Israeli prisoners and two children who were killed in deliberate Israeli airstrikes targeting their places of security were handed over.

This scene sends a clear message to the occupation: if you wish to resume the war, know that we are ready for it, and we will bury you just as we did the first time. If you consider continuing your aggression, expect the return of your prisoners in coffins, just as you saw today.

The resistance remains strong in its power, steadfast in its field, unbreakable, and anyone who thinks they can end it is deeply deluded.

The resistance will endure as long as the occupation exists, and it will remain strong as long as injustice persists. It will neither yield nor relent.

The current draft resolution, which was prepared for February 24, demands that Russia “immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw all its armed forces from the territory of Ukraine.”

The authors include Britain, France, Germany, Canada, Switzerland, Poland and the Baltic countries. The USA is not included.

⭕ 🇮🇹🚢Oil Tanker attacked off the coast of Savona, Italy.

On Friday night, February 14, while debunking operations were underway, two explosions were heard. The inspection led to the discovery that a hole of just under a meter had opened up in the ship’s hull, or rather the immersed part. The twisted sheets of metal were facing inward: important detail, because the direction of the bend in the sheets of metal suggests that the cause of the tearing of the steel was external. The ship has a hole of over a meter. But the power of the tearing agent was mild, given that the sheets of metal in the safety chamber held, preventing the oil from spilling into the sea.

A preliminary investigation has ruled out an accident, and the case is now being treated as related to terrorism.

“We have a series of overall elements that rule out the accidental hypothesis,” says the chief prosecutor of Savona, Ubaldo Pelosi . Thus, since yesterday, the explosions on the Seajewel oil tanker flying the Maltese flag have been the responsibility of the District Anti-Terrorism Directorate: the investigation is for “shipwreck aggravated by terrorism”.

The ship, according to what was reconstructed in some journalistic investigations, is suspected of having transported Russian crude oil to Europe, despite the embargo. ” Everyone needs Russian oil, otherwise the refineries will stop – an “insider” told Avvenire – I wouldn’t be surprised if the final destination of the Seajewel was France, or perhaps even Genoa…”

In the latter case, the final recipient of the cargo could be a plant in Northern Italy. But these are elements that the prosecutors, who interviewed the crew, are ascertaining. The navigation data are also under scrutiny, to reconstruct the exact route of the tanker. But, above all, it will be a question of identifying the hand that placed the hypothetical device. It will not be easy, but the source of Avvenire ventures: “It could have been Ukrainian sabotage. But first we need to see where the crude oil comes from.”

⭕ 🇳🇱🇳🇬 The Netherlands to return over 100 looted Benin Bronzes to Nigeria

They were looted by British troops in 1897 during the sacking of Benin City, modern-day Nigeria’s Edo state.

These culturally significant artifacts, including sculptures, tusks, and an ivory mask, were later displayed at museums like the Wereldmuseum in the Netherlands.

Described as the “largest repatriation of Benin antiquities” by Nigeria’s National Commission for Museums and Monuments, this move aims to address a historical injustice still felt today, according to Dutch Minister of Culture Eppo Bruins.

Nigeria plans to showcase these treasures in the upcoming Edo Museum of West African Art, set to open in 2026.

⭕ 🇲🇱🇨🇦 Canadian Barrick Gold reportedly reaches a $438 million deal with Mali to settle tax dispute

✍️ The deal, which has yet to receive formal approval from the Malian government, involves Barrick paying 275 billion CFA francs (about $438 million), a Western media outlet reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.

In exchange, the company seeks the release of four employees detained in September, the return of three tonnes of gold, evacuated by the Malian authorities in January, and the resumption of operations at the Loulo-Gounkoto mining complex in western Mali, according to the report.

A delegation from the Malian government and a private consulting firm completed a three-day inspection of Barrick’s facilities at Loulo-Gounkoto on Wednesday, while the authorities last week gave the company a one-week deadline to resume operations, the report added.

According to the FC speaker, Moscow is interested in increasing trade and economic cooperation with Addis Ababa, which has a huge potential, especially in agriculture, renewable energy, mining, information and communication technologies and tourism.

Matvienko also emphasized the effective interaction with Ethiopian colleagues within the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and BRICS.

“Russia actively supported Ethiopia’s accession to this association, and we felt the enthusiasm and constructive attitude of Ethiopian partners. The country is making a remarkable contribution to the collective strength of the association, giving its members a new perspective on the African continent. BRICS has gained a new, dynamic and active member,” the speaker noted. |media|

⭕ — 🇱🇧 🇵🇸 ☦️ A message by Archbishop Atallah Hannah, Archbishop of Sebastia, from the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem, on the funeral of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah:

‘Dear friends, in just a few days, Lebanon will witness a great and exceptional event: the funeral of His Eminence, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the martyrs who stood with him.

We, from Jerusalem, stand in reverence and honor for the sacrifices made by Sayyed Hassan and his companions, those who stood with Palestine, defended it, and paid a heavy price for it. We are loyal to these sacrifices. All Palestinians are loyal to the sacrifices of Sayyed Hassan and his comrades.

While we send our condolences from the heart of our holy city, we want to express that we will never forget those who stood with Palestine and defended it during the most difficult times and under the harshest conditions. Today, the Palestinian cause is being conspired against. Our enemies seek to displace our people and erase our cause. But the Palestinians will never raise the flag of surrender. We hold firmly to our rights, our principles, and our constants. The word ‘surrender’ has no place in our Palestinian dictionary.

Dear friends, we are all one family, one nation, facing the colonial projects that do not only target Palestine but the entire nation. Our message has always been, and will continue to be, that Palestine is the compass. Whoever’s compass is Palestine is in the right place, and whoever’s compass points elsewhere is in the wrong place. We urge them to correct their course and set their compass in the right direction.

Our dear friends, our message today is that we, as a community, must remain united, Christians and Muslims, across all sects and denominations. They want us to be fragmented, divided. They want us to speak the language of sectarianism. They want us divided so they can implement their projects, following the well-known adage ‘divide and conquer.’ They want to divide us so they can push forward their colonial projects that target Palestine and the entire nation.

We will remain Christians and Muslims in this region, one nation, with our compass pointing to Jerusalem, and our cause being Palestine. We must not allow anyone, or any entity, to push projects aimed at further division and fragmentation. We are one family, and that is how we have been, and how we will always remain.’

Russian troops liberated almost 4.5 thousand square kilometers of territory from the enemy in 2024, and over 600 square kilometers in the first two months of this year, said Rudskoy, Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff.

Europe and Ukraine Excluded from Their Own Peace Talks: A Price for Blind Loyalty

Europe and Ukraine have found themselves excluded from peace negotiations that directly concern them — talks about Europe’s future and Ukraine’s fate are being held without European participation. Instead, the United States is unilaterally representing the entire continent, shaping the new European-Russian equilibrium without the input or consent of European leaders.

This glaring diplomatic sidelining is the direct consequence of Europe’s unwavering subservience to Washington. Having sold its strategic autonomy to the Biden administration, the European Union now finds itself without a voice, reduced to a mere observer of its own destiny. By blindly following U.S. directives throughout the Ukraine conflict, Europe has lost its leverage, rendering itself irrelevant in shaping its own security architecture.

Washington’s dominance over European foreign policy has effectively erased Europe’s ability to act independently. The very governments that once championed European sovereignty have willingly ceded decision-making power to Washington, allowing the U.S. to dictate their diplomatic, economic, and security policies. As a result, when real negotiations for post-war stability began, Europe was deemed unnecessary—a passive entity expected to follow whatever agreement the U.S. brokers with Russia.

This exclusion is not an accident but a consequence. Nations that relinquish their independence become irrelevant on the global stage. Europe’s choice to prioritise alignment with Washington over its own strategic interests has come at a high cost: its diplomatic irrelevance in shaping its own future.

⭕ Justice is collective; silence is complicity. If you choose to remain silent and turn a blind eye to the suffering of others simply because it does not directly affect you, remember that injustice does not discriminate. A day will come when it reaches your doorstep, and by then, there may be no one left to stand up for you.
Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, ended a high-level discussion in Tehran with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. The discussion focused on economic cooperation and mediation between Iran, Syria, and the United States and discussed the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. The region has witnessed significant upheaval, notably the recent overthrow of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the subsequent power vacuum in Damascus.

In the current context, Qatar’s unique position—maintaining robust relations with both Western nations and regional actors—positions it as a potential conduit for dialogue. The emir’s visit to Tehran serves as a platform to explore avenues for de-escalation.

However, our soldiers are dying, our troops are suffering, and we desperately need this conflict to end. Peace talks are essential for that to happen. I remain hopeful for the best outcome… trust but verify!
🔻 Olga Bazova: There is a good reason for this scepticism. The US and European establishments have proven themselves to be completely agreement-incapable over decades of Rusophrenic policies.

The cold war, and NATO along with it, should have been put into the dustbins of history in 1991. Instead the US and their European puppets have gradually escalated it into a hot and bloody conflict that has affected the whole world today, and brought us ever closer to the precipice into abyss.

The deep rooted mistrust and even contempt exists not because we don’t want to trust, but because we have witnessed with our own eyes the nefarious intent to destroy our nation for centuries and experienced first hand what some of these monsters are capable of.

Although Trump has exhibited some good intentions in regards to finishing the Ukrainian conflict, his cabinet, with very few exceptions, is not to be trusted and some of his picks will quite possibly try to sabotage his future actions.

The fact that the dialogue is being re-established is a huge step forward, and after three years of conflict, the Russian people obviously want this conflict to end, but not in the way of another Minsk or some frozen conflict, but in total victory and complete defeat of those who Russia is really at war with, which is obviously not Ukraine.

Things could have been different, had the West not been so self-consumed in their delusional sense of superiority, but rather listened and understood Russia’s security concerns and national interests. They have been consistently the same for decades, but ignored and discarded by West due to hubris and petty self-entitlement.

Had they been taken into consideration, the European continent, and perhaps even beyond, would be flourishing today in prosperous, peaceful and mutually beneficial co-existence.

Therefore, I sure do hope for positive changes, new peace and an era of multipolar co-existence, but I remain totally pessimistic and completely distrustful of anything that comes from Western politicians, and here is one of thousands of reasons why [the older tweet from Lil Narco above]

⭕ 🇪🇹 Ethiopia is actively pursuing food self-sufficiency through agricultural policies, challenging perceptions of African dependency, authorities say

Ethiopia remains committed to achieving food security, which is essential for its farmers and the nation as a whole, according to the Office of Prime Minister of Ethiopia.

The strategy centers on wheat production through expanded irrigation, improved seeds, and modern farming, transforming Ethiopia from importer to self-sufficient producer. This transformation from an importer to a self-sufficient wheat producer is supported by key initiatives in irrigation, sustainable agriculture, policy reform, and farmer support programs.

By becoming wheat self-sufficient, Ethiopia no longer needs to rely on imports, eliminating the need for an annual $1 billion in imports. However, limited humanitarian imports may still occur.

Food self-sufficiency is crucial for Ethiopia and Africa’s empowerment, building resilience and promoting growth. It safeguards against disruptions and demonstrates agricultural independence, serving as a model for other African nations.

But it requires a manpower. Alot of it.
🔻 WS: You’re looking at the equation from a fallacious perspective. The Russians have spent the past three years methodically eradicating the manpower opposing their objectives.

Odessa will be reassimilated without meaningful opposition. They will actively petition to join Russia.
🔻 Shivaratam: Ukraine wont allow a referenda on your area marked likely. What is your thinking on how such a referenda could happen?

In the aftermath of that event, Taiwan will kiss the ring, and the entire neighborhood will make nice with Beijing.
🔻 El Dasein: Will, Don’t you think that a confrontation between the US and China inevitably leads to the use of nukes by the US? It is unlikely that the US can win a conventional war in the Chinese zone of influence.

🔻 WS: I think it’s very likely. Iran sells over 90% of its oil production to China. There are many who believe destroying Iranian oil production capacity represents a necessary preparatory step to taking on China in the western Pacific. That’s how they will frame the argument to POTUS.

Only one soldier from my CO ever went to a class which actually fired the system, and even then, only 2-3 soldiers out of 40 got to fire it. A system that expensive and complex is not worthwhile

Moreover, you have to wait 1-2 minutes for the seeker to cool sufficiently to fire the weapon. Even ignoring the finicky targeting system – locking the ‘gates’ properly – if you think a soldier has that kind of time under the stresses of combat, you’re kidding yourself.

The Javelin is yet another example of what @wbuppert likes to call exquisite platforms. A system designed in consultation between generals, lobbyists and engineers, with the grunt having no voice in the matter.

🔻 Caligula’s Horse: A soldier cannot wait a minute between identifying a target and waiting for the seeker to cool. Yes, I understand, the cooler the seeker, the greater the contrast. But you can’t wait. I raise the system, I see my target, I lock it in, I fire, and I move to another position.
[and that’s why all UkroNazis who survived them did so by ditching them, realizing the death traps for what they were]

‘Before True Promise-2, Americans brought 4 ships to the Mediterranean and Red Sea coasts and brought some to defend them, whose mission was anti-ballistic.

The entire radar network of the Persian Gulf region was integrated into the CENTCOM framework and was made available to the United States.

However, in Operation True Promise-2, more than 75% of our missiles successfully hit.

The biggest failure was the collapse of their defense system.’

🔻‘In Operation True Promise-1, we launched 160 drones, which was the largest drone attack in the world.

The air capabilities of the United States, UK, France, Jordan and the Zionists, as well as the radar facilities of the entire region and 203 aircraft were ready defending against us in TP-1.

    Despite this, we succeeded.’

🔻‘In Operation True Promise-1, we tested the enemy with a warm hand. We attacked, and they did not respond. We called their bluff.

In this operation, the main goal was seeing if we could penentrate the Israeli air defenses even at the moment when its defense was at its strongest point.’

🔻‘After Operation True Promise-2, we predicted that the Israelis would strike back, and we assessed that they would try to attack our missile production.

However, the attack did not have a large effect, and as we estimated, missile production did not stop even for one day. In fact, we now increased the production rate of missiles’

🔻’If we unveil an underground missile base every week, it would take us two years to display all of them.’

🔻‘True Promise-3 will be carried out, and it is a golden opportunity that lies in our hand, and it will be completed at the appropriate time.’

🔻’The Supreme Leader has repeatedly sought to address the lack of an anti-ballistic missile defense system in our country.

An anti-ballistic defense system has been in the works for three years now, and it will be operational by next year (Persian year, so March 2025).
[and this may ultimately be the chief calculation behind delay..]

🔻’The Americans and Israelis always threaten a lot. I assure our dear people and tell them not to worry at all. There won’t be any war.

They are not going to do anything against us. Nothing is going to happen. They cannot and will not harm our nuclear program.’

🔻’Currently, we are working with ballistic missiles with ranges up to 2,000km.

However, from a technical perspective, we have no problems with increasing the range of our missiles. We can do it if we choose.

But the US has targets nearby all around us, we can strike with cheap short-range missiles, and there is no need for us to launch intercontinental ballistic missiles at the US.’

🔻’In Operation True Promise-2, one of the targets we struck was Netzarim Corridor, in the middle of Gaza, where the Zionist occupation forces were stationed.

When we were about to launch the missiles, the Supreme Leader told me ‘make sure you don’t hit any Hamas fighters’, and we told him confidently ‘don’t worry’.
[and they struck the Gaza “envelope” tank holdings areas, and occupied Palestine from north most to the south most, from west to east. They can literally “touch” any spot they choose.. As Europe is permitted to breathe at the very pleasure of Russkie, so does messianic Zion at Iran’s]

[another victory lap with the primus inter pares]
⭕ After the ceasefire, Iran was the first foreign visit of the leaders of both Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad

This makes it more than clear, the Palestinian resistance still sees Iran as its key ally, probably even more than before.

Contrary to armchair generals and excessive hype in the media, neither Hamas nor the PIJ ever even expected Iran to directly intervene after October 7th.

The fact that Iran directly struck Israel twice was a positive surprise to them, and it solidified their alliance more than before.
⭕ — 🇮🇷 Some thoughts about True Promise-1 and True Promise-2, which I have been waiting to share for a long time

I want you all to understand, before True Promise-1 happened, nobody was even expecting Iran to strike Israel directly, including myself.

Forget about the ‘results’ for a moment, that’s a different story. Take yourself back to the weeks before April 14th 2024 – nobody, literally NOBODY thought Iran would attack Israel.

Within Iran, and the wider political sphere, the discussion was initially about the possibility of taking ‘reciprocal action’ to the destruction of the Iranian embassy in Syria. Meaning, they were considering the option of striking Israel’s embassies or facilities abroad, such as in Jordan or Azerbaijan.

Mind you, many analysts believed that even THIS was too much to expect from us, and that we should simply strike ‘Israeli-linked assets’ like Mossad safehouses in Erbil, Iraq, like we did in the past.

In the days leading up to April 14th, when the conversation and news reporting started shifting to the possibility of a direct Iranian strike on Israeli territory, many people did not believe it, and personally I considered it unlikely. At that point, due to past weaknesses shown, I (and many others) would have been more than satisfied with merely a strike on an Israeli embassy.

Even when, in my mind, I entertained the possibility of a direct strike, I expected Iran to strike in ‘Israeli-held’ territory, such as the Golan Heights, while technically and legally avoiding actual ‘Israeli’ territory (Golan Heights are Syrian in Intl. Law).

But no. Not only did Iran strike Israel directly, it struck them in the heartland – deep in the Negev, directly targeting airbases. And of course, in True Promise-2, we saw the targeting of Tel Nof airbase in Tel Aviv itself.

People must understand, while these attacks were certainly impressive from a military POV (especially TP-2), the effect of these operations is not actually measured by the amount of damage or the amount of Israeli fatalities.

These operations set a new equation, they started a new era, and they changed the entire political landscape. They set a precedent for the future. That is the real significance of True Promise-1 and True Promise-2. Iran got the first taste of direct conflict with Israel, and it learned many important things.

As for the military aspect, TP-1 was widely telegraphed and was clearly intended as a message to Israel and the world, this is obvious considering the fact that Iran mostly used small amounts of old missiles and hundreds of drones they knew would be intercepted.

In regards to TP-2, it was a probing attack. It was not telegraphed, it was sudden. They intended to do limited damage, this time showing Israel that Iran has a true ‘will’ to use force, without it being excessive enough for an overwhelming Israeli response.

At the same time, this attack utilized some of Iran’s advanced weapons for the first time, such as Fattah-1, and the operation taught Iran how many missiles it would need to reasonable assure itself of a significant level of destruction of Israeli airbases. The conclusion? More missiles needed, liquid fueled missiles need their accuracy improved, and we need larger warheads.

So next time someone brings up these operations, you must understand the complex reality we live in. Neither Iran nor Israel went ‘full-out’ during last year’s exchange. Both are probing and testing. But a large scale conflict will, eventually, happen.

As for True Promise-3, sometimes it is better to wait. It was a time of action, but for now it is a time of making sure that we know what we’re getting ourselves into, before we start the next cycle of conflict. As the Leader said: ‘We neither rush nor delay’.

Every step can be your last, so make sure your next step is the right one.

⭕ 🇷🇺🌍 The Saint Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange may become a pilot platform for the creation of the BRICS Grain Exchange

The creation of a grain exchange could open up new opportunities for BRICS countries in terms of forming a fair price for grain and agricultural products, Alexey Gerasyuk, Vice President of the Saint Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX), said at a BRICS working group meeting in Cairo.

The meeting was organized by the BRICS Competition Law and Policy Centre and the Competition Authority of Egypt, aiming to explore competition in food markets.

🗣 “The BRICS countries currently play a key role in the structure of Russian grain consumption: China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and Turkey account for 65% of Russian grain exports. The BRICS grain exchange project can initially be tested within the framework of existing trading markets and infrastructure. We can establish links between exchanges and countries to ensure fair prices for the agricultural market,” Gerasyuk stated.

SPIMEX, Russia’s largest commodity exchange, facilitates trading in various markets, including petroleum, oil, gas, metals, timber, fertilizers, agricultural products, and futures.

Russia’s initiative to create the BRICS Grain Exchange was welcomed in the group’s Kazan summit declaration in October 2024. The goal is to establish a BRICS grain trading platform and expand it to encompass other agricultural sectors.
⭕ ❗️The EU’s role in the upcoming negotiations on Ukraine is excluded, Russian deputy foreign minister says

    More statements by Aleksandr Grushko:

    • Russia is categorically opposed to the prospect of European troops appearing in Ukraine, no matter what role they play there;
    • The talks between Russia and the United States in Riyadh are preliminary consultations, the purpose of which is to outline the basic positions of the parties.

⭕️ 🗣️The main culprits of the destruction in Ukraine are the EU countries, which recklessly fund the Ukrainian armed forces and supply them with weapons.

From an exclusive interview with Nikolai Patrushev, presidential adviser and chairman of the Russian Maritime Collegium:

    • The West has long been looking for reasons to oust Russia from the Baltic, but having failed to find them, it has decided to invent motives for what are essentially pirate seizures of our ships.
    • Today, under the guise of supporting Ukraine, the British, together with other NATO countries, are trying to occupy Ukrainian land for a long-term confrontation with Russia and to turn the Black Sea and the Baltic Sea into NATO’s internal waters;
    • Cutting off Russia from sea access to the West, from the Black Sea and the Baltic Sea, has been London’s cherished dream since the 18th century. The British tried to thwart Peter the Great, intrigued against Catherine II.
    • Sometimes they tried to act by force of arms. Remember the Crimean War, which history often interprets as a defeat for Russia, but in fact the British and French were defeated at the bastions of Sevastopol, in the Baltic, but also in the Far East and on the Solovetsky Islands.
    • Many countries that the British Crown considered to be within its sphere of influence are turning away from London. The states of the British Commonwealth are already sceptical about the nominal power of the Crown and are not dependent on it;
    • Russia has not deprived anyone of statehood, but has only helped to strengthen it, has protected sovereign countries and, when independent nations were interested, has taken them into its fold, ensuring their security and prosperity. This distinguishes our country from England or France;
    • No one has done as much to destroy Ukrainian statehood as Zelensky and his henchmen. And, of course, their patrons;
    • Strengthening the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev and its armed formations, British and American transnational corporations make no secret of their interest in unfettered access to natural resources – rare earth metals, oil, gas, coal, fertile land. The Anglo-Saxons are not interested in the population of Ukraine, its industry, its cities and the future of this country in general;
    • At the same time, the main culprits of the destruction in Ukraine are the EU countries, which recklessly finance and supply weapons to the Ukrainian armed forces;
    • The anti-Russian and pro-Ukrainian agenda promoted in Munich demonstrated the growing split in the Western camp. It is obvious that in the foreseeable future, one group of countries will show solidarity with Kiev’s neo-Nazism and help it to the point of exhaustion, another group will take neutrality and a third group will create a coalition to combat neo-Nazi and militaristic ideology, exactly in the spirit of the Yalta Conference.

    “An Israeli surrender agreement”.

The head of the Metula Israeli Settlement Council, David Azulai, described the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon as “catastrophic.”

“We had an enormous military achievement that should have been translated into a political victory ensuring Hezbollah’s absence from Lebanon. Instead, we have reached a surrender agreement.” Azulai accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of handing Hezbollah a victory.

“Tomorrow, they will return to their homes and continue to threaten us. Metula is surrounded on three sides by the border. It is true that a military force will remain, but what about the northern side? What about the western side? What will happen when residents return to the village of Kfar Kila, which is just meters away from the homes of Israeli citizens? There are tens of thousands of Shiites, most of them members of Hezbollah and the Radwan Unit, who are rebuilding their homes and preparing to return in full force.”

Azulai asserted that the residents of Metula will not return, revealing the results of a survey conducted over the past two weeks: “According to the survey results, only six students out of 95 intend to return with their families. Beyond the security aspect, where is the logistical support and infrastructure? Around 70% of Metula’s homes have been damaged, and 30 local government buildings have been completely destroyed. These buildings are uninhabitable, yet the government, detached from reality, is demanding that we return. How are the residents supposed to return to normal life? Are children expected to grow up in a town filled with military barriers and barbed wire? This takes us back to the scenes of the 1990s, to the constant sense of danger.”
