The mainstream media puts out narratives which the masses believe. The so-called alt-media does exactly the same thing and which is too often utter nonsense too.

When you try to point this out you get the same response you get from the masses that still believe the mainstream narratives. They refuse to believe that any alternative is possible because this alt-media collective must be correct.

What people also fail to grasp is that narratives are created by co-opted sources in the alt-media to ensure that the same MO which works in the mainstream media also works in the alt-media.

People have learnt nothing. They have swapped one illusion for another.

NEW YORK, August 3. /TASS/. The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has asked military analysts to develop “unconventional” ideas for punishing Iran, CNN reported, citing sources.

“We are looking for new creative and unconventional ways to pressure and punish Iran,” a US Central Command intelligence officer wrote in a message to a group of military analysts, according to the report.

According to CNN, the request highlights the limited and potentially politically unpalatable options available to the Washington administration in dealing with Iran.

Meanwhile, a source told Fox News that CENTCOM was prepared to consider any new proposals. The US military believes the strategy toward Iran requires reassessment.

US President Trump said earlier that the United States and Iran would hold talks on a peace deal on August 3. Trump also wrote on Truth Social that he had agreed to abandon plans for a powerful strike on Iran in order to reach a deal. According to Trump, Iran and other Middle Eastern countries asked Washington to refrain from attacking because the parameters of a deal had been agreed. “This would include the immediate, complete, and total opening of the Hormuz Strait and an end to Iran’s nuclear threat,” Trump added.

Russia’s State Duma elections will take place from September 18th to 20th.

Foreign agents from abroad are preparing provocations for the upcoming parliamentary elections in Russia, according to Russian State Duma Deputy Vasily Piskarev.

The State Duma commission investigating foreign interference has recorded the activity of online courses and training programs aimed at preparing pseudo-observers. The instructors include exiled political scientists, former municipal deputies, and activists from the now-defunct organization “Golos”.

“This technology is intended to be used to create negative news stories aimed at discrediting the electoral process. This includes provoking conflicts at polling stations, submitting “mass complaints and petitions” about fabricated violations, publishing fake news, conducting hashtag campaigns, and more,” the commission’s statement said.
