Yesterday the news channels burnt up with the news that Trump apparently left his meetings at Camp David earlier than scheduled and went back to the White House.
This was at the same time that US embassies across the Middle East issued coordinated security alerts: Event: Due to tensions in the Middle East, the security environment remains complex with the potential for unforeseen escalation. Americans currently in the Middle East should exercise heightened vigilance and be aware of potential flight cancellations, airspace closures, and travel disruptions.

This is all while Preacher Hegseth is exhorting a bunch of troops with old testamentic Hollywoodish chants .. Lord, send me! send me! ‘Send me to go fight the Redcoats. Send me to go fight the communists. Send me to go fight the Islamists’. His impeachment hearings were supposed to start but the US House declared a holiday.
Commentators are very busy talking up various scenarios in West Asia up to an attack against Ansar Allah, Iran and other selected areas, carried out by Israel, the US and allies. We don’t know. It is useless and a time-waster to speculate. Marandi says that the Trump regime is preparing to restart the war against Iran. The Islamic Republic’s response will be swift and devastating.
Israel declares themselves ready: Israeli Fighter Jets Are Ready: Heightened Alert Ahead of Yom Kippur
Ahead of Yom Kippur, the IDF has reinforced its forces in northern, southern and central Israel and raised the readiness level of the Air Force and Navy. At the same time, thousands of police officers will be deployed across the country, with road closures and traffic changes expected. We’ll keep you updated.
Iran has Rapid Reaction forces deployed on its borders.
If there is another attack on Iran or Yemen or anywhere else, the Iranian Leadership’s statements don’t spell it out, but nevertheless they read clearly. This time we don’t stop. Here is some language:
“We warn that if the United States commits any mistake against the Islamic Republic of Iran, all of its bases and interests in the region will be targeted by continuous, effective, and painful attacks, without any limitation or consideration.
We also warn that if regional countries, by continuing their double standards toward the Islamic Republic of Iran, align themselves with the aggression of the Great Satan against the powerful Islamic Republic of Iran, they will all be regarded as partners in this wrongdoing and will no longer be able to expect restraint or forbearance from Iran’s powerful armed forces.”
Iran is changing. Ghalibaf: ‘War or talks’ dilemma unacceptable for Iran
“We [Iran] believe the war or negotiations dilemma is false because one should both fight and negotiate,” Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf said in a statement. (Just the same as Russia in the current still SMO).
This is all a backdrop to gas, diesel and airplane fuel rising and following certain countries across the world, we are now inside of a Global Financial Crash or Meltdown and, with it, comes a revolution.
On the youth music scene, where Maclemore opened the chant of Free Palestine, started a revolution and carried the world with him, Sheeran had to play a lonely opening concert last evening as everyone connected with this major tour decided that Free Palestine is much more important in our world than Zionist duplicity. Sheeran, on his lonely stage made a lonely speech, about how he wants his music for peace. Sharmine Marwani stated: ” … the fact that he brought up the Nova Festival, in an effort to equate it with a 3-year systemic genocide. Ed Sheeran just doesn’t know when to quit. Zionist.”

Russia again carried out fairly major strikes last night on logistics centres, warehouses, and ports in Ukraine as well as vessels used to support the AFU. Bummer. Michelle Bachelet has just withdrawn from the candidates for UN Secretary General. Former Chilean President and ex-UN Human Rights Commissioner Michelle Bachelet has announced she is withdrawing her candidacy for UN Secretary-General.
“Some might say the time was not right for a candidacy like the one I sought to represent,” she noted in a video posted on her social media channels.
She also highlighted that the global situation currently faces various challenges across multiple fronts, such as human rights and climate change.
Bachelet thanked the presidents of Mexico and Brazil for supporting her candidacy. Initially Chile supported her candidacy but they were soon threatened out of that, and Mexico and Brazil took over in support. Michelle is the only candidate where two large countries supported instead of smaller island states, most probably forced to do so.
Seven candidates remain in the running — the majority from Latin America and the Caribbean, alongside contenders from Africa. There is nobody here with the deep resume and real and practical experience, fierce independence and honesty that Michelle Bachelet presents. The two Ecuadorian candidates are both nominated by small island nations.
- Rafael Mariano Grossi (Argentina), nominated by Argentina on 26 November 2025;
- Macky Sall (Senegal), nominated by Burundi on 2 March 2026;
- Rebeca Grynspan Mayufis (Costa Rica), nominated by Costa Rica on 3 March 2026;
- María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés (Ecuador), nominated by Antigua and Barbuda on 11 May 2026;
- Carolyn Rodrigues Birkett (Guyana), nominated by Guyana on 15 June 2026;
- Olara Otunnu (Uganda), nominated by Uganda on 24 July 2026; and
- Ivonne A-Baki (Ecuador), nominated by Tonga on 18 August 2026.
(Michelle is proven to be a lady with guts. We will find out in a couple of months who it was that again threatened her out of her gourd).

The quiet battle
We’ve spoken about the Israeli incursion into the Latin Americas (many other countries as well). In the LAC, the people are not Iranian people despite the bitter commentary from previous supporters of Venezuela and drawging comparisons – Iran fought, Venezuela did not, and therefore they ‘deserve’ their state.
Venezuela is out in the streets demanding many things: The release of their President and his wife, transparency on the oil agreements and currently the US, through USDA, is pouring cheap food into Venezuela, destabilizing agriculture and their producers. The rice growers held a recent ‘tractorazo’ protest. Producers argue that imports from countries with subsidized agricultural sectors, including the US, create unfair competition. FEDEAGRO reports that more than 2.2 million metric tons of white corn, yellow corn and rice have entered Venezuela in 2026, more than triple the recent combined high recorded in 2023.
Rural organizations have also denounced tariff and import-tax exemptions, while rice growers say imported products have saturated storage facilities and forced them to sell below production costs. Producers are demanding state support to offset losses and protect national food production. At the same time we hear from the US that food prices for their own citizens are excessive.
Journalists and commentators discuss the issues:
Venezuelan economist and grassroots activist Andy Hernández discusses the role of popular power amid what he describes as a context of undermined sovereignty. Speaking in a personal capacity, he argues that communes must defend national institutions while building their own capacity to exercise power from the territories.
Hernández also stresses the need for communes to manage resources, develop alternative economic models and demonstrate that “another way of life is possible.”
“We must strive to ensure that these 5,400 communal circuits form a network for the defense of the territory.” Hernández states.
And this: The Battle to Reclaim Our History https://venezuelanalysis.com/opinion/the-battle-to-reclaim-our-history/
Venezuela is adamant that their minds will not be neo-colonized. Much of what you see in the alternative press about Venezuela leaves out this aspect and much of what is said by current leaders are written for them to say, by US functionaries.
In the region, the whole of the LAC, people chose a peaceful life. They have not worked for many years as Iran has, to win a kinetic war. They have instead followed another way, and I was glad to notice in one of FM Lavrov’s latest speeches, that he mentioned the pact by Latin American and Caribbean Countries, through CELAC to be a peaceful region and specifically not allow weapons of mass destruction in the region. The Zone of Peace pact was adopted on January 29, 2014, during the 2nd CELAC Summit in Havana, Cuba. CELAC is now destabilized.
I had only one thought when I saw this very limited report: The mysterious death of the Zionist commando in Colombia. 🔹Hebrew sources have revealed that a soldier of the Zionist army has died in Colombia.
He obviously did not die a normal death and I speculate about the forms that the resistance will take, as nobody wants the US to own them. Right … Greenland yeah. The US has just taken Greenland. Not so fast.
US-Denmark agreement over Greenland is ‘PR stunt’ ahead of midterms “This treaty is mostly for show, but in legal terms it’s much ado about nothing” because “the US already had free access to Greenland and the main responsibility for the defense of Greenland,” military and geopolitics analyst Mikael Valtersson told Sputnik. While the agreement grants the US permanent military access, basing and overflight rights, Washington already had these rights, and it was the US itself that “voluntarily and drastically reduced its own military resources on Greenland” after the end of the Cold War. In other words, the deal is “mainly a PR stunt for the US government ahead of the upcoming midterm elections in November.”

China condemns Trump-signed law tightening sanctions on Russia and expanding trade restrictions on Iran, Bloomberg reports.
China’s Ministry of Commerce said Beijing “consistently opposes” unilateral and secondary sanctions that are not approved by the UN Security Council and have no basis in international law. China also warned that it will monitor Washington’s next steps and “reserves the right to take all necessary measures” to protect its interests and Chinese companies.
The statement comes just days before Trump and Xi Jinping meet in Washington. Ahead of the summit, US and Chinese officials will hold talks on trade and other disputed issues.

He is going to land on some military airfield, go the the UN General Assembly where he will make a speech and remembering from last year, with a rent-a-mob and the General Assembly Hall emptying out as people left and then … he is going to back to his lair where he continues to kill with impunity.

It is a loaded gun that can be picked up and fired at Trump’s whim. The timing is just before Trump’s meeting with Xi Jinping. China and others that trade with Iran are threatened with secondary sanctions. We may say this is to look strong ahead of midterms and ahead of Xi Jinping’s, visit, but ‘the gun is real’ and it is loaded and this sanctions regime remains post-Trump as it is law.
Dmitry Peskov commented a day or two ago that this will be seen as an ‘unfriendly act’. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun: China consistently opposes long-arm jurisdiction that lacks a basis in international law and is not authorized by the United Nations Security Council.
This bill “authorizes and expands statutory sanctions, tariffs, and prohibitions on Russia, and extends existing sanctions on Iran.”. It mandates restrictions against Russia’s top political and military leadership, state-owned companies, and secondary sanctions against Moscow’s trading partners. Moscow’s trading partners include India as well and the US has consistently tried to break that trade. It includes many countries in Eurasia.

Northern Siberia’s oil reserves, which Russia is developing and shipping via the Arctic Ocean, could give Moscow a major geopolitical advantage,. By linking Siberian production to Arctic sea routes, Russia is building a new energy corridor aimed at Asian markets, thereby expanding its export options beyond traditional routes. The first crude shipments have already departed and we only just recently heard of Vostok Oil.
Situated on the Taymyr Peninsula, Vostok Oil combines the existing Vankor fields with new deposits in the northern Krasnoyarsk Krai, drawing on a resource base estimated at around 7 billion tonnes of liquid hydrocarbons.
Will this head off or ameliorate a world depression based on oil shortage? If you find any expert (real expert), kindly let us know.

THE NEW LEADER of the world will be formally greeted by the old leader of the world on the coming Wednesday.
China’s President Xi Jinping will be met at the airport in Washington by the US’s President Donald Trump. Airport meetings at that level are a rare event. (Trump did not get one when he visited Xi in China.)
Then there’ll be a state banquet on Thursday, where the old US tech leader (from Apple) will meet China’s new tech leader (from Xiaomi). Headline-grabbed innovators will also meet: OpenAI on the US side and BYD on the China side.
Despite being poor and undeveloped until recently, China has grown at astonishing speed, and now has five times the number of STEM graduates a year as the US. China also has global leadership of much of the science research sector, and a lively AI industry. The US is closely focused on talking to China leaders at the moment.
Yesterday (Thursday) China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his US counterpart Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke by phone. The discussion would have been to ensure that their respective leaders were on the same page for the meetings next week. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is booked to meet Chinese Vice-Premier He Lifeng this weekend in New York to discuss money challenges.

Here is what is new. Meet our ‘negotiators’. (Understand now why I kicked out all and everyone who wanted to tell us that Pakistan is so perfect and so brilliant at this negotiating business and other secret messages direct from the Pakistani secret service? and directly from Trump’s phone as well – Did Trump give them the 10Billion dollar emergency bailout?)
A little more from this speech out of Pakistan – It is God’s will: “Even if there was no agreement, if Saudi Arabia is attacked especially our holy places we are bound by an eternal agreement that we will protect them. The House of God and Medina al-Munawwarah protecting them is our religious duty.”
Ansar Allah Artist
Saudi Arabia in recent days begged China for help to pressure Ansar Allah. What is wrong with those people? Do they not understand that the blockade on Yemen must be lifted? Iranian sources say China passed the message along, but did not issue any threats or leverage its economic power over Tehran.
Also new: Turkey has suspended Iran’s biggest airliner, Mahan Air, flights to and from Iran-Turkey starting 21 september. This comes after the US imposed “economic” sanctions. Unfortunately Turkey complied and has suspended Mahan Air flights. If you travel to Iran, you can still fly with other Iranian airliners with Turkey as layover, this only affects Mahan Air flights (for now).

Russia and China just minutes ago vetoed a draft resolution in the UN Security Council.
The draft resolution sought to strongly encourage States interested in the use of commercial maritime routes in the Strait of Hormuz – which lies between Iran, Oman and the United Arab Emirates – and to “coordinate efforts” defensively, to contribute to ensuring the safety and security of navigation there, including the use of escorts for merchant and commercial vessels.
The draft also demanded that Iran immediately cease all attacks on shipping and any attempt to impede transit or freedom of navigation in the strait.
It is worth reading the commentary on the resolution – it is short: https://news.un.org/en/story/2026/04/1167261
So we know and understand why the meeting in Oman did not and could not take place. And we may also understand the massive amount of ordinance and bombs sent to Israel. It is regional ordinance.

FM Lavrov made two notable speeches in the last days. The one was at a diplomatic round-table where he noted the legal situation of the world. That was long and complicated and obviously meant to bring the Russian diplomats up to date up to the minute in terms of legalities re Ukraine. The second, and I am waiting for the transcript to be completed, was at a panel in Yekaterinburg, New World Architecture: An Open Dialogue with Sergey Lavrov. Thus far he is not mincing words and here is a little sample:
The philosophy of equality, now the dominant trend, is particularly characteristic of BRICS. Its latest summit has just taken place in India’s capital, New Delhi. The countries representing very different civilisations within this association demonstrate unity in their determination to maximise opportunities for joint development and do so not at anyone’s expense or to anyone’s detriment, but for the prosperity and security of their peoples. Russia is fully committed to this approach, which is characteristic of other associations of new type, including the SCO, the CIS, the EAEU, and the CSTO.
Unfortunately, the objective process of strengthening multipolarity is running into aggressive opposition from our Western colleagues and their elites. They continue to perceive these developments as a threat to the dominance they have enjoyed for five hundred years during the periods of slavery and colonialism, and are trying to retain their waning dominance by resorting to the most unscrupulous methods, including illegal ones, such as unilateral sanctions, outright pressure, interference in internal affairs, and instigation of conflicts.
Today, two opposing trends have collided. One is represented by those who want to preserve the old world order and its old system of governance, in which a minority benefitted from the subjugation of the majority. The second is about the emergence of a more balanced and equitable world order based on the key principles of the UN Charter, above all the principle of the sovereign equality of states. Our Western colleagues have not once respected this principle throughout the history of the world. They have always regarded themselves as the main actors who call the tune. Yet life is nevertheless forcing them back to complying with the principles of the UN Charter.
…the West, in an effort to uphold its waning dominance, carried out an invasion of Venezuela (and abducted its lawfully elected president) and an armed aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran (and killed Iran’s Supreme Leader and members of his family). The same applies to the conflict in Ukraine, which is a direct consequence of the West’s expansionist policy.
As a case in point, from President Claudia Sheinbaum as the country celebrates Independence Day: ‘Mexico will never be a colony or protectorate of anyone!’. Mexico regularly attends BRICS as an observer.

🚨 Russian forces launched a large-scale overnight strike using high-precision ground, sea, and air-based weapons and drones, hitting metallurgical and radio-electronic enterprises, military-industrial facilities, energy and transport infrastructure in Kiev, Zaporozhye, and the Odessa region — as well as vessels used by Ukrainian forces.
🚨 MAJOR … Russian forces vaporize Kiev’s ‘De-Novo’ data center that sustained military-purpose servers. (This was a Palentir linked data center so we may say this was a strike on the US?.)
The strikes targeting the De Novo data center in Kiev on Thursday will create “an information vacuum and eliminate databases used to target our facilities – including those deep inside Russian territory,” military expert Col. (ret.) Anatoliy Matviychuk told Sputnik.
Besides being used to store “vast amounts of intelligence data to support the operations of Ukraine’s military” and drawn upon by Palantir, the massive data center served several other functions, including waging “information-psychological warfare on the Russian population” using local platforms.
With the facility destroyed or significantly damaged, “the whole process” of compiling intel “has to start from scratch…This represents a massive puncture in the [kill chain’s] logistics and information support for strikes against Russian territory and Russian troops,” Matviychuk emphasized.
Other targets hit:
🔹 Drone production workshops in Kiev and the surrounding region
🔹 A battery energy storage park in Brovary — ensuring uninterrupted operation of military facilities
🔹 The Zaporozhstal metallurgical plant and a radio electronics assembly facility in the Zaporozhye region
🔹 Two road bridges over the Dnestr River near Mayaki — used for transiting military cargo from Romania
🔹 A power substation supplying the Izmail port

Ukraine is currently losing approximately fifty troops per day in the encirclement, with the total number exceeding 600, as Russia’s Sever Battlegroup continues to expand control over the Kharkov region.

European and Arab military commanders will gather in Paris on Thursday to assess the requirements of the Lebanese Armed Forces and discuss arrangements for the period following the planned end of the UN peacekeeping mission. Israeli tourists face growing backlash in parts of Asia due to Gaza genocide
Israeli tourists and veterans are facing growing scrutiny in parts of Asia over their military service amid Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza, with residents and activists in Indonesia, the Philippines, India, and Thailand raising concerns over the conduct and presence of some visitors.
In Bali, gym owner Samir Shafiq recently ordered three Israeli tourists to leave his establishment after an argument with an Indonesian employee, confronting them over their service in the Israeli military. “If you serve the IDF, and we all know and have seen these past few years what they did and what they are still doing, yeah, you’re not allowed to come,” Shafiq told Anadolu Agency.
On the Philippine island of Siargao, advocate Rich Tuason told Anadolu that locals are experiencing “restlessness, helplessness and frustration” over an increase in Israeli visitors, including former soldiers, while concerns have also been raised about businesses and tourism services catering specifically to Israelis.
In India, where an established backpacking route known as the “Hummus Trail” draws tens of thousands of Israeli tourists each year, activist Prashant Pundir said an ecosystem of Hebrew-speaking cafes, hotels, WhatsApp groups, wellness centers and Chabad houses has developed around Israeli visitors.
The Hind Rajab Foundation also filed a complaint with Indian authorities in June seeking the arrest of Israeli soldier Eitan Gilboa over alleged participation in the destruction of civilian infrastructure in Gaza. The backlash has also reached Thailand, where hundreds demonstrated outside the Israeli Embassy in Bangkok over violations of local laws and disrespect toward Thai customs.
More than 277,000 Israelis visited Thailand during the first eight months of 2026, a 7 percent increase from the same period last year. Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul also ordered the deportation this month of an Israeli man convicted of threatening a zoo owner after the establishment displayed a Palestinian flag.

Entering the world depression but see the next entry, Russia may be coming to some kind of rescue. We see BRICS standing up against sanctions and tariffs, as they said in their joint declaration. But what is clear is that many are going to be badly hurt.
Vessel traffic through the Strait of Hormuz remained in the single digits on Tuesday, with four crossings recorded, down from seven the previous day and well below the 10-day average of 18, according to preliminary shipping data released on Wednesday.
Two of Tuesday’s vessels were entering the waterway and two were leaving, according to the data. None were very large crude carriers or liquefied natural gas tankers.
Some vessels may be transiting Hormuz with their tracking transponders switched off and therefore would not appear in the data.
One very large gas carrier, Salute, carrying about 470,000 barrels of liquefied petroleum gas, exited through the Iranian route. Panamax-sized tanker Nautilus, carrying around 510,000 barrels of naphtha, also exited via an unidentified dark route.
Both vessels entering the strait were carrying cargo. One was a short-range dirty products tanker, while the other was a dry bulk carrier, with both entering through the Iranian route.
Meanwhile, traffic through the Bab al-Mandab Strait stood at 22 vessels, little changed from the 24 recorded a day earlier.

And here we go. The US wars have put us in hell. Here is the economic crisis that Michael Hudson and others warned us about now for months. We are in uncharted territory and this not the ’70’s OPEC price war. https://history.state.gov/milestones/1969-1976/oil-embargo. One after the other country is breaking out in uproar. This morning it is France and Netherlands. Saudi Arabia notified their buyers that they canno0t deliver and possibly will not be able to deliver until perhaps November.
The damage that the US war against Iran did because of Iranian strikes on the US infrastructure in the region is now slowly becoming clearer. Amazon Web Services just announced that there is no way that they can rebuild what was flattened. It is beyond all hope of recovery. https://thecradle.co/articles/amazon-says-cloud-infrastructure-in-bahrain-uae-beyond-saving
Global fuel crisis caused by US war on Iran finally arrives
As the Strait of Hormuz blockade continues with no end in sight, top US oil executives worry that the situation in oil markets is getting out of control.
The disruption of alternative oil transportation routes, such as the Saudi pipeline that runs to the Red Sea coast, and the depletion of commercial fuel stocks across the world, means that now there is no way to “mitigate the price and supply risk,” the WSJ reports, citing Chevron CEO Mike Wirth.
As the previously existing buffers run out, it remains unclear how high oil prices might end up going, but it seems unlikely that they will go down anytime soon, Wirth warns.
💬 “I wish I could tell you that I saw some reason why things would ease, but it’s difficult right now to see that happen,” he said at an energy conference in Texas on September 11.
According to the WSJ, the US may attempt to remedy the situation by increasing its own fuel-making capacity and ramping up oil production in Venezuela.

LNG report from China and India (Reuters): LNG demand in China and India expected to recover when Mideast war ends
China and India’s LNG imports are expected to rebound from multi-year lows once the Middle East supply crunch eases and prices fall, according to industry executives. The current disruption linked to the U.S.-Iran war has pushed both countries to lean more heavily on coal and oil for power generation, underscoring how quickly price-sensitive Asian demand retreats when LNG becomes scarce or too expensive.
The immediate market read is straightforward: high spot LNG prices and tighter Middle East supply have already forced demand destruction in two of Asia’s most important growth markets. If the conflict premium unwinds, the first-order effect would be a return of discretionary buying from China and India, which would tighten the balance for Atlantic and Pacific Basin cargoes and reduce the temporary substitution benefit now enjoyed by coal and oil in the power mix.
For the LNG market, this is a clear signal that part of today’s demand weakness in Asia is cyclical and price-driven rather than structural.

China Rejects US AI Slowdown Push
Chinese state media said leading US AI executives were using calls to slow frontier AI development to preserve American dominance and constrain China’s progress. In a Sept 14 editorial, China Daily described (https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/east-asia/chinese-state-media-dismisses-self-serving-ai-slowdown-call) remarks by Anthropic’s Dario Amodei, OpenAI’s Sam Altman and SpaceXAI’s Elon Musk as a coordinated and “self-serving” effort after US chip and equipment curbs failed to stop Chinese firms from building competitive models.
The exchange adds to a broader US-China dispute over AI governance, with Beijing arguing that safety frameworks excluding China cannot be global. China’s Foreign Ministry called the US rhetoric fearmongering, while Beijing on Sept 14 released an updated AI safety governance framework that addressed emerging risks including “recursive self-improvement.”
The dispute is sharpening ahead of US-China talks on AI. Beijing is pairing criticism of US restrictions with calls for cooperation on AI safety governance.

Another Trump fabrication, just for the record: He said that Ukraine agreed and Russia agreed to not attack each other’s energy facilities or infrastructure (I understood he was talking about refineries) and blamed Ukraine for rising oil prices. Of course we do not know who was in the room with Trump when this was agreed to, and we suspect nobody was there.
Peskov played cute, and according to good diplomatic standards did not call Trump a fabricator of facts, but called this energy truce initiative ‘a good idea’. ‘We always support peaceful solutions’ — Peskov
In the meantime Ukraine struck another Russian gas plant. Nobody was in the room and I take the default position: Trump fabricated all of it.

🇺🇸 US Air Force Secretary Admits the US Has On-Orbit Weapons (Space-Based Weapons)

▪️The article claims the weapons are “likely” non-kinetic jammers, but it could be anything from jammers to kinetic systems;
▪️This will force Russia and China to expand militarization of space to defend their assets from the threat of US aggression which has already surrounded both nations on Earth with war and proxy war;
▪️Once again the US leads the world in escalating conflict and endangering peace and stability on, and now far above the Earth;
Russia has floated two draft resolutions at the UN to declare space free of weapons but the very idea was so esoteric that they did not get the votes.
MFA Spokesperson’s response to U.S. deployment of weapons in space: China stands for peaceful use of the outer space and keeping it safe, and opposes any arms race in outer space or any attempt to weaponize it and turn it into a warzone. We urge the U.S. to stop its military build-up in the outer space, and uphold global strategic stability with concrete actions.

Following is a broad segment: Ukraine, the ICC, Global Oil, Palestinian Statehood
We know that Russia and China are not in the least impressed with the International Criminal Court and do not subject themselves to the ‘justice’ of this court. Mr Lavrov exposes some recent actions that we certainly should know about.
Lavrov exposes the ICC’s double standard: Ukraine gets 8-year carve-out shielding Ukrainian citizens from war-crimes prosecution, while the court targets Russia alone.
Lavrov: Ukraine conflict is a ‘goldmine’ for ICC
Then-ICC Prosecutor Khan requested resources from Western sponsors immediately after the Special Military Operation began — funds earmarked specifically for investigating Russia, Sergey Lavrov stressed.
Lavrov: ICC uses Palestine as a fig leaf for “objectivity” while its selective justice remains politically driven.
💬 “In other words, they were openly funding the trial of preselected defendants… In any national system, this would have been considered outright bribery of the courts — a paid criminal trial.”
Russia ready for Ukraine talks, but military operation will continue – Lavrov
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov laid out Moscow’s position on Ukraine, the West and the ICC, in a diplomatic roundtable in which he stated that Russia remains open to negotiations but will not halt military operations while talks are underway.
▫️ Russia is ready to restart negotiations as soon as the other side is prepared — bilaterally or in a trilateral format
▫️ The special military operation will continue during any talks, Russia will not trade battlefield pressure for another open-ended negotiation process
▫️ Russia remains ready for “reasonable compromises,” but not at the expense of Russian-speaking populations or its security objectives
▫️ Russia intends to recover its frozen gold and foreign-exchange reserves from the West
▫️ The US never proposed any Ukraine-for-Iran geopolitical bargain
▫️ European governments periodically seek new channels with Moscow, while Brussels itself remains locked into a “stupid position” of giving Kiev near-total political cover
▫️ The Ukrainian conflict could already have been over for a year had Washington not walked away from the Anchorage understandings under European pressure
▫️ Lavrov plans to meet Marco Rubio on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York
He also tore into the ICC, calling its Ukraine case a political “goldmine” and arguing that Western funding of the court would look like outright judicial bribery in any domestic legal system.
On Palestine, Lavrov said Russia supports Palestinian statehood, but accused the ICC of using the issue to manufacture an image of neutrality after years of selective justice.
Peksov followed up with direct statements:
🇷🇺 Kremlin: Russia ready to discuss gas supplies to Europe under two conditions
1️⃣ If the supplies are profitable
2️⃣ If Russia can reserve the necessary volumes because a large share has already been redirected to alternative markets
More statements by Kremlin spokesman Peskov:
🔸 Russia expects broad international consolidation on the full demilitarization of space: “Space must be free of any weapons”
🔸 An energy truce with Ukraine would allow Russia to saturate its domestic market with petroleum products, but Russia is already capable of stabilizing the market
🔸 Ukraine is not yet inclined to guarantee the safety of oil tankers. And it’s not just Russian vessels that are suffering, but those of other countries too
🔸 Ensuring safe operation of refineries and increasing production won’t solve global problems, the main issue is with exporting them
🔸 To saturate the global energy market with fuel, sanctions must be lifted
What Russia is saying here, is that they can assist with the current fuel problem globally, and of course head off or minimize the world depression that we are entering now. But, it will not come cheap. It is the exact same message that we get from Iran: If we cannot have oil, nobody can have oil. The Russian message is: If you don’t stop your wars, if the sanctions regime does not fall, nobody but friends will get oil from us. Sudden Death comes to mind.

We see what looks like small actions but they are now adding up.
Malaysia has seized three more containers bound for Israel at the Port of Tanjung Pelepas, according to Bloomberg, in what appears to be a new level of scrutiny of Israel-bound shipments.
The three containers were detained on August 19 while en route to Ashdod Port and contained electric bike parts from Chinese manufacturer Chongqing Mobimax Technology Co. Malaysian authorities are investigating their contents, and the containers remain at the port nearly a month later.
The seizures follow Malaysia’s detention of another Israel-bound container on August 7. Malaysian authorities suspected it contained weapons because it was destined for Elbit Systems.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said Malaysia would not allow the country to become a conduit for trade that could support or contribute to “the cruelty of the Israeli regime.”

> It’s Monday, the market opens, oil is about to reach $110+ per barrel
> Trump Post ‘Iran wants to make a deal’ and of course trading intelligence went out to those who paid, just a little before this message.
> It’s Friday, the markets close

Rinse and repeat and traders trade.
Another Trump this morning: Trump says Ukraine has now agreed to stop striking Russian energy infrastructure, with Russia agreeing to do the same. (There’s no evidence of this).
He claims the global diesel price surge is “mostly caused by the Russia/Ukraine War, not Iran.” The announcement comes as U.S. diesel prices have surged above $6 per gallon for the first time ever.
🔹🔹🔹🔹
You do know that we are heading up to a major economic crash in the world. Yesterday I had some positivity that BRICS has a plan (and they do), but today I question my own thinking. Not in terms of my theory, but in terms of the time available to head off or minimize this crash, that is most certainly playing out in the foothills of the world economic mountain now. How on earth can Syria and Iraq be in major uprisings because their oil price is too high and they don’t have any? I mean, in that world you stick a stick in the ground and oil gushes out. The explanation here is that Iraq exports to Syria who then exports to Europe to leave nothing locally. The world is spinning fast and all middle-countries are now increasing their oil and petrol gas and diesel prices to a level that the citizenry cannot afford and industry dependent on petro-chemicals cannot produce.
Prof. Hudson holds the idea that the ‘pesky middle countries’ (my frustrated words and not Prof Hudson’s words), must, en bloc, repudiate or default or suspend payments on IMF debt. He explains if I understand correctly and it is not complicated now, that incoming world depression from soaring oil prices will strain the balance of payments and they simply cannot afford to pay BOTH the higher oil prices and food import prices AND pay their dollarized debts. If you read .. And Forgive them their Debts .. you will certainly understand in historic detail.
We will speak more about this over the next days as a thematic issue.

💬 “We are ready to contribute to strengthening this increasingly important grouping,” Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla said.
BRICS backed Cuba’s cause, demanding an end to the decades-long US blockade in its New Delhi Declaration.
This will be one of BRICS main objectives if one reads the Delhi (arguably generalist) Joint Declaration carefully – to break the sanctions system and to break the blockades. These are illegal and BRICS is set to increase the power of International Law.
🔹🔹🔹🔹
White House Weighs Defense Production Act as U.S. Refineries Maxed Out
The White House is considering using the Defense Production Act to add U.S. refining capacity as American refineries are already running at 98% utilization. The move comes with diesel prices above $6 per gallon for the first time, underscoring how tight the U.S. products market has become.
The immediate signal is that the bottleneck is no longer crude supply but conversion capacity. With refineries effectively maxed out, any additional crude availability does not automatically translate into more diesel and other fuels. That keeps pressure on middle distillate balances and supports strong refining margins, while also highlighting that policy attention is shifting from upstream output to downstream constraints.
For the market, this is a reminder that U.S. fuel tightness can persist even in a large crude-producing system when refining capacity is stretched to the limit.

Russia welcomes any call on the Kiev regime to stop strikes on civilian economic infrastructure – Kremlin
Other statements by Dmitry Peskov:

🔹 The situation on oil markets is deteriorating rapidly, mainly due to developments in the Persian Gulf
🔹 The disabling of Saudi Arabia’s oil pipeline knocked more than 4% of global supplies off the market, which cannot but cause concern

Saudi crown prince meets US CENTCOM chief amid Ansarallah advances
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met US Central Command chief Adm. Brad Cooper and his delegation in Jeddah today, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, as Saudi-backed forces face mounting battlefield pressure from Ansarallah in Yemen.
The meeting addressed Saudi-US relations and regional developments, with Saudi Minister of State and National Security Adviser Musaed bin Mohammed al-Aiban also in attendance. The talks come amid Ansarallah attacks targeting Saudi energy infrastructure and rapid advances by the movement along Yemen’s western coast.
The meeting also follows reports that Riyadh has sought US military assistance against Ansarallah. Axios reported last week that Saudi Arabia was urging US President Donald Trump for military intervention, while Washington has so far limited its support to intelligence and targeting assistance.
It was also stated in Hebrew media that the Saudis sent an ‘indirect’ request for Israeli intelligence assistance.
The Saudis never speak directly. They always try and speak through someone else, with forked tongue as it were.
What is also becoming clear, is that there were two Gulf Monarchies that spiked the Iranian meeting slated for today in Oman, to regularize traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. This was Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. I consider this the most serious vector of a new continuous war today. The US does not want the war in West Asia to come to an end. It suits their purposes of chaos across the world and of a serious economic crash world wide. They will thus in this way use Yemen as an inadvertent proxy for their objectives. If Yemen continues fighting, and they will, Saudi Arabia might continue with a little help from their friends, and war overall continues at any level possible. In my opinion it is the US that is spiking every attempt to regularize the Strait of Hormuz traffic and now Bab El Mandeb.
I remind you of a quote by Oily Hegseth just a short while ago: US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said the Trump administration is seeking a “historic generational investment” in military spending through a new $1.5 trillion budget. “We will work as hard as humanly possible… to deliver what is truly a necessary historic investment to ensure America remains the dominant military power on planet Earth,” Hegseth declared.<
Vance in the past few hours: US Vice President JD Vance tells reporters he is concerned about Ansarallah’s seizure of key islands in the Red Sea.
“It’s something that we’re keeping pretty close tabs on,” he said. “We’ve been in constant contact with the Emiratis, the Saudis, and others who are affected in the region.”

The historical baggage is there. Lavrov just made a speech (waiting for the transcript to be completed) that explains once again the process of multipolarity. It is not that the multipolar world wants to kill off the US and Israel, but as a function of the process, and with re-estblishing… Read more »
I see. I remember being cheesed off last May when Japan was excluded from a program in Hong Kong while the US was invited (https://www.sohu.com/a/1024527317_100100458) and, while this was not quite the same as with the Xiangshan Forum, I wasn’t sure what message that was supposed to send considering it… Read more »

I would think Russian and Chinese intelligence (and perhaps Iranian and North Korean as well) would have figured it out already and that they have built their satellites, at least critical ones anyway, with that knowledge in mind.
i’m pretty sure they have. xinhua, tass & sputnik over the past 10 yrs have posted a substantial number of papers & tests on satellites, the focus is neatly packaged as space exploration/travell, weather monitoring satellites, satellites intended to provide better communication, laser technology. as you know advanced, cutting edge… Read more »

From the Offense One article right at the top: Air Force Secretary Troy Meink acknowledged that the U.S. has space weapons, a public revelation that some experts said could accelerate an arms race in orbit.

Allegedly, a high-ranking member of AnsarAllah, Muhammad Sharif Abdallah, deputy director at the office of Abdul Malik al-Houthi, was killed in an air strike in Al-Makha (Mokha). From the beginning I thought it was fake news, a vulgar “hook” which Larry Johnson seemed to have swallowed hook, line, and sinker, without questioning at all the source or the verification.

UAE delenda est!
UAE is a zio-nazi agent, a tool of the empire, a statelet run by thugs, crooks, gangsters, pedophiles.
It needs to be razed to the ground.
Wonder why. MBS pilots keep on bombing their own mercenaries, despite the 200 US “advisors”? MBS wants to get a statement of support from the west? MBS is feeling lonely? All of the above? Mark my words, no bombing will stop AnsarAllah from wiping out the Saudi trash from Yemen.… Read more »
