War on Iran – 7

Thanks so much to Jangjo for regular updates – much appreciated!

Criminal Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

I instructed the IDF to expand the maneuver in Lebanon. Our forces crossed powerful obstacles. They seized commanding terrain and captured the Beaufort Ridge.

And now my instruction is to deepen and expand our hold on areas that were under Hezbollah’s control.

We are initiating action, we are operating on all fronts—in Syria, in Gaza, and in Lebanon.

It will take time, but we will complete the mission.

May 30

Hezbollah has been continuously firing missiles into Israel today – Northern Occupied Territories.

Hezbullah continues to fire rockets at Israeli settlements in response to renewed Israeli ground invasion into Lebanon

Hezbullah officially confirms: We are fighting and the towns are not lost yet

Statement:

The Islamic Resistance have been confronting, since dawn on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, and continuing up to the moment this statement is issued, with utmost valor and might, the enemy army’s advance toward the outskirts of the towns of Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, Yahmar al-Shaqif, and Debbine.

This is being achieved by targeting the hostile forces through complex operations employing various types of weaponry.

In these confrontations, the enemy has sustained heavy losses in both personnel and equipment; to date, it has been unable to seize control of the aforementioned towns and continues to maneuver along their outskirts.

Sensing a pattern here. As soon as the transits in the Strait begin to build up to quantity, the US does a sneak attack. Iran was settled on more than 30 transits for a few days there. That is a third of the previous daily traffic if we use 100 transits a day which is a fine number for now. Now they are knocked back to average 10 less than that – 20 or so. I’ll see if the pattern persists.

Iran’s IRGC-Navy announced:

• 26 ships passed through the Strait of Hormoz after the IRGC gave them permission.

Receiving permission and coordinating for passage through the Strait of Hormoz is mandatory. As previously announced, passage through other routes is considered a disruption and will be dealt with.

• Last night, several ships attempted to enter the Persian Gulf illegally by tampering with and turning off their navigation systems. After several rounds of radio warnings, IRGC Navy forces stopped 2 of them in place, while the rest were forced to turn back.

• The terrorist US military in the region violated the ceasefire by firing several missiles at empty areas of Bandar Abbas Airport, which caused no damage. In response to this aggression, the US base from which the attack originated was struck in retaliation.

• If this action by the terrorist US military is repeated, it will face our harsh response.

We are seeing Gaza again. Several casualties reported following more than 25 airstrikes carried out by Israeli fighter jets across southern Lebanon over the last few hours.

We’ve heard this type of story right through the height of the Gaza massacres, where civilians were always ‘human shields’.

“The claim by U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) that the targeted Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab was located within a “missile launch facility” is a baseless fabrication and an appalling lie.” – Iranian MFA Spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei responds to Admiral Cooper’s testimony.

Update – Daniel Davis Deep Dive

May 14

Netanyahu made a secret trip to the UAE and met with MBZ during the war with Iran.

The visit likely took place on March 26, when two private jets registered in the Isle of Man flew from Tel Aviv to Al Ain.

— Bombardier Global 6000 (M-ARVA)
— Global Express XRS (M-ULTI).

The UAE is now trying to do damage control, denying Netanyahu visited or that Israeli military officials were received there, but the Israeli announcement was crystal clear, even describing the visit as “a historic breakthrough” in UAE-Israel relations.

None of these two entities are believable, but this scandal will certainly affect the BRICS Foreign Minister’s Meeting.

May 12

NEW: According to Al-Jazeera, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has given the negotiators 5 conditions that must be met before entering talks related to the nuclear file

1. Ending the war on all fronts in the region, including Lebanon and Gaza.

2. The lifting of all economic sanctions imposed on Iran.

3. Releasing all of Iran’s frozen funds held in foreign banks.

4. Committing to paying reparations for the damages and losses resulting from the war.

5. Recognizing Iran’s sovereign right over the Strait of Hormuz.

May 11

Iran lays out its terms to end the war

According to Al Mayadeen’s diplomatic sources, the Tehran’s response, delivered via Pakistan, includes:

🔹 End the US naval blockade and allow oil exports;
🔹 Ceasefire in Lebanon (Iran’s red line);
🔹 End of war immediately upon agreement;
🔹 Lift all US sanctions and unfreeze Iranian assets;
🔹 Remove OFAC restrictions on Iranian oil sales;
🔹 Iranian control over Strait of Hormuz;
🔹 30‑day post‑war talks to finalize details.

Iran has proposed reciprocal steps to test Washington’s seriousness in fulfilling its commitments.

🇱🇧 No deal without Lebanon’s ceasefire – Tehran links the two.

US president Donald Trump called Iran’s proposal ‘totally unacceptable’:

🔹🔹🔹🔹

We see more and more of this …

Israeli army chief of staff: Our military system is collapsing

▪️Severe power shortage crisis

🔹 Continuing the confessions of the Zionists about the chaotic situation of this regime, especially at the military level after the recent war with Iran and the resistance, this time Eyal Zamir, the chief of staff of the occupying army, warns against the collapse of the ranks of the reserve forces and the disintegration of the military system due to the severe lack of forces.

🔹 Channel 13 of the Zionist regime reported in this context that Eyal Zamir, in a secret meeting in the Foreign Affairs and Security Committee of the Knesset, raised his request for help for the army.

🔹According to this report, Zamir warned about the existential crisis that has engulfed the military establishment due to the severe lack of manpower and demanded the joining of thousands of additional forces to ensure the continuation of operations and prevent the complete collapse of the military system.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Ships are slowly beginning to move:

Tasnim News Agency reported that the Agios Fanourios I, a very large crude carrier (VLCC) tanker loaded with Iraqi crude and bound to Vietnam, passed on Sunday, May 10, through the route designated by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz.

Back on May 5, Press TV reported from sources that Iran had officially introduced a new mechanism for managing maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, requiring vessels to obtain prior authorization before transit.

Under the framework, approved ships would receive an official email from info@PGSA.ir outlining the rules and conditions for passage, with shipping operators required to adjust their operations accordingly and secure a transit permit in advance.

Press TV added that the initiative is described as a “sovereign regulatory system” now in effect in the Strait of Hormuz, through which around 20% of global oil trade passes.

Government news agency: Iran’s response to the text proposed by the United States has been sent

The government news agency claimed:
🔹The response of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the latest text proposed by the United States to end the war was sent to the Pakistani mediator today.

🔹 The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had already announced several times that Iran’s views and considerations regarding the American proposals will be sent after the completion of the investigations and the final summary.

🔹 According to the proposed plan, at this stage the negotiations will be focused on the issue of ending the war in the region.

Bear in mind, this is not negotiations but rather setting the ground rules or the agenda as to what will be discussed.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Ships passing through the Straight of Hormuz on the designated route of Iran since yesterday.

🔹Panama-flagged bulk carrier Mdl Toofan is passing through the Strait of Hormuz from the port of Ras al-Khair, Saudi Arabia, on the route designated by Iran. The destination of this ship is the port of Rio Grande in Brazil. Also, this bulk ship was trying to cross the Strait of Hormuz on May 4, when it was returned by the armed forces of Iran.

🔹This is the second ship since yesterday that passed through. One of these had an Iranian fast boat escort.

This is all difficult to confirm.  These two releases came from Tasnim.

It almost seems as if ships are moving.  Qatar appears to have secured the first gas export out of the region since the Iran war began.  Marshall Islands-flagged LNG tanker AL KHARAITIYAT (IMO 9397327), loaded at Ras Laffan export plant in Qatar, was seen transiting the Strait of Hormuz en route to Port Qasim, Pakistan.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

In terms of kinetic strikes taking out power centers, Prof Marandi has been warning about heat in the region starting now.

Kohorak became the hottest place in Iran with a temperature of 46.5 degrees.  The newly established station of Khoruk was recognized as the hottest point of the country by recording a temperature of 46.5 degrees Celsius.  Zahedan city was also the hottest center of the country with a temperature of 39 degrees Celsius.  In total, 23 weather stations in the province recorded temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius.  After Kehorak, Delgan was ranked the next hottest place in the country with a temperature of 45 degrees Celsius.

Ceasefire? What ceasefire?

US attack on an Iranian civilian boat injured 10 sailors & are 5 missing. Last night, the US attacked an Iranian civilian cargo vessel near the waters of Minab, and it caught fire.
There were 15 sailors onboard, 10 were injured and transferred to the hospital, and local groups and search teams are trying to find out the status of the other 5 sailors — Governor of Minab told Mehr

Fox News, in other words fortify yourself with grains of salt: Fox News says US bombed several empty VLCC tanker vessels that were trying to return to Iran & bypass blockade.

At 00:10 local time, the US attacked one of the naval bases in Minab County, near Bandar Abbas. The aggression did not result in any injuries — Mehr

There is a US confirmation from Jennifer Griffin which I’ve temporarily lost lol – too many wars.

Fars reports sporadic clashes in the Strait of Hormoz between Iran-US forces. For the past hour, sporadic clashes took place between Iran’s armed forces and US Navy vessels. This comes after CENTCOM “disabled” 2 empty VLCC tankers returning to Iran. It is said the last clashes is Iran, respoonding to these VLCC tankers.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Despite heavy censorship by the UAE, footages are now circulating showing what looks like to be smoke rising from an impacted site at Dubai Airport.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

According to TankerTrackers, over the past two days, three empty NITC oil tankers passed through Pakistan’s exclusive economic zone and reached Iran, slipping past a US military blockade.

The three tankers have a combined capacity of around 5 million barrels of crude.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Iran’s Army Navy commandos detained the violating oil tanker Ocean Koi (OCEAN KOI) during a special operation for attempting to disrupt Iran’s oil exports and national interests, according to Tasnim News Agency.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

May 7

From Trump … ‘Just a LOVE TAP’ — Trump to ABC on latest Iran strikes.  Asked if ceasefire over: ‘NO, no, ceasefire is going. It’s in effect’.  Then writes a Bollywood Movie Script.

And to reporters:  “If there’s no ceasefire… you’re just going to have to look at one big glow coming out of Iran,” Trump said.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

🔹 The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps. Navy says that intelligence indicates significant damage inflicted on the American enemy, and three enemy aggressor vessels had quickly fled the Strait of Hormuz area.

Formal from Iran minutes ago.

Iran’s Khatam Al-Anbiyaa Central Headquarters:

– The United States, in violation of the ceasefire, targeted an Iranian oil tanker moving from the coastal waters of Iran in the Jask region towards the Strait of Hormuz, as well as another vessel entering the Strait of Hormuz, off the coast of Fujairah, UAE.

– Simultaneously, they launched airstrikes on civilian areas in cooperation with some regional countries in the coastal areas of Bandar Abbas, Sirik, and Qeshm Island.

– The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran immediately retaliated by attacking U.S. naval vessels in the east of the Strait of Hormuz and south of Chabahar port, inflicting damage upon them.

– Criminal and aggressive America and its supporting countries should know that the Islamic Republic of Iran, as in the past, will powerfully and without the slightest hesitation respond decisively to any aggression.

Fox News

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Confusing reports coming from Iran and region.

🔹The explosion sounds could be the IRGC Navy firing warning shots at violating vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

🔹Two columns of smoke are seen rising from Bahman port, Qeshm Island

🔹Iran targeted U.S. warships in the Strait of Hormuz after they attempted to attack an Iranian oil tanker – IRIB

1. America fired at an Iranian oil tanker.

2. IRGC Navy responded by firing on U.S. warships.

3. U.S. then strikes launch origin points in Qeshm and Bandar Abbas.

🔹Iranian News Network:

The United States attempted to strike certain points in order to remove two of its vessels (stuck in a rocky area), but it was immediately met with a strong response from the Iranian armed forces. The American operation failed an hour ago.

As you can see, very confusing so far.

May 6

The gift that keeps on giving.  UAE media are saying that it was Saudi Arabia that carried out the attack to disrupt oil exports, not Iran.  Makes me think of the Bard:  ‘Oh what a tangled web we weave/ When first we practice to deceive‘.  Pepe said today that the UAE is being called the Zionst Arab Emirates now.  I do believe that if this war continues, if there are further attacks on Iran, the Zionist Arab Emirates will be blown to hell.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Iran’s Foreign Ministry calls the United Arab Emirates a whiny little bitch and says it didn’t attack them, tells them to stop being American-Zionist pawns. (The UAE is still announcing attacks daily – attacks that are not happening.)

May 5

The UAE and Israel just announced a strategic alliance.  They are (sources say, so use grains of salt,  but it is not farfetched), planing attacks against Iran within the next 24 hours.   I was waiting for USRael to show its hand.

Note that Greasy Pete says in his briefing of this morning, that the ceasefire is still active.  Current operations are a ‘separate project’.   If the story of attacks within the next 24 hours bears out as truth, we’ve just seen another sleight of hand, where the US switches off with Israel to pour gasoline on this looming war.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

State of the War Now, without analyzing it to death.  We all know that the anti has been upped.  But we are not in a fully fledged kinetic war yet.  We are in fully fledged economic state of crash and this will affect our whole planetary existence.

Many people do not like Professor Karaganov and with his last article, the Russian commentator feathers will fly.  His conclusions are valid.  What he is proposing for Russia, an uncompromising stance, must be absorbed by the rest of the world, not only for and in Russia.  I am referring to the stance, not necessarily the particulars as these will change by state and country.   Do take a look:  https://sovereignista.com/2026/05/04/how-can-russia-win-a-new-world-war/

🔹🔹🔹🔹

We’re starting this day of Waiting for War with two stories that are not necessarily easily verifiable. This one reported by Fars, is one of sinking small ships, coastal traders, going about their business.  This one portrays the sad and miserable barbaric so-called might of the so-called American empire that, like Israel, exists to kill.

1. The U.S. military’s claim that it targeted six Iranian fast boats is not true, and no IRGC combat vessels were hit.

Hostile U.S. forces reportedly attacked two small boats carrying civilian cargo traveling from Khasab on the Omani coast toward the Iranian coast, firing on them, destroying the boats, and killing five civilian passengers.

This reckless and hasty behavior by the enemy stems from U.S. soldiers’ fear of fast-boat operations conducted by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

In the Caribbean they’ve just shot down another little ‘drug boat’ in the supposed ‘drug boat corridor’.  Between Oman and Iran, they shot down two normal everyday coastal traders, doing their normal trade between coasts, snuffing out the lives of civilian people going about their normal business.  And then these barbarians portray it as a military victory.

2.  I’ve always wondered about the story that the US is out of missiles or certain weapons. Is it really true? or is it something that started in social media and everyone ran with it? Mertz, from the nazi colony in Europe, dropped the skinny:

The Iran war has drained American missile stockpiles so badly that Washington can no longer fulfil its promise to station Tomahawks in Germany. The US has used over 850 Tomahawk cruise missiles in the Iran conflict – roughly nine times the Pentagon’s average annual procurement rate.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

May 4

According to Prof. Marandi Iran is expecting —and preparing for — a “major attack.”

🔹🔹🔹🔹

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Over two dozen US Air Force tanker aircraft are active across the ME as Trump ‘edges closer to resuming operations.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Fires at the world’s biggest oil terminals and loading facilities in the UAE.  Here is Iran’s statement reported by Tasnim:  .

The fire incident in Fujairah was the product of America’s adventure

🔹 The Islamic Republic had no pre-designed plan to attack the mentioned oil facilities, and what happened was the result of the adventure of the American army to create a passage, for the illegal passage of ships through the forbidden passages of the Strait of Hormuz, and the American army must answer for it.

🔹 American statesmen should end the ugly behavior of using force in the diplomacy process and stop military adventurism in this sensitive oil region that affects the economy of the entire world.

🔹🔹🔹🔹
CENTCOM commander, Brad Cooper, claimed: Six Iranian boats were sunk after attempting to attack commercial and American vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
Iranian millitary official to IRIB DENIED that US sunk Iranian small boats.
🔹🔹🔹🔹

Reports of drone and missile attacks in UAE, with attacks/explosions reported in Fujairah oil refineries and unconfirmed explosions in Abu Dhabi as well.

UAE Ministry of Defense:

“The UAE’s air defenses are currently engaging with missile attacks and incoming drones from Iran, and the Ministry of Defense confirms that the sounds heard in various parts of the country are the result of the UAE air defense systems intercepting ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones.

UAE Air Defences system are actively engaging with missiles and UAV threats

MOD asserts that the sounds heard across the country are the result of ongoing engaging operations of missiles and UAV’s”

🐻Real attack or a false flag? Developing…

🔹🔹🔹🔹

The Iranian Navy has fired missiles and drones to warn US warships approaching the Strait of Hormuz in an attempt to challenge Iran’s control over the key waterway in the Persian Gulf.

The Navy said in a Monday statement that it was forced to fire cruise missiles, combat drones, and rockets near US warships that had ignored its warnings not to approach the Strait.  The statement said the warships had turned off their transponders and attempted to approach the Strait in “dark mode” before reactivating their radars.

The Navy said its forces had warned the ships that any attempt to approach the Strait of Hormuz would be a violation of the ceasefire announced in early April, which had allowed a halt to the US-Israeli aggression against Iran.  “At this stage, after the US-Zionist destroyers ignored the initial warning, the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran fired warning shots with cruise missiles, rockets, and combat drones near the aggressors’ vessels,” it said.

“The responsibility and dangerous consequences of such actions will fall upon the hostile enemy,” the statement added.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Following escalating tensions & US saying the rules of engagement for US forces in the region being changed to “strike immediate threats against ships that cross the strait, like IRGC fast boats or Iranian missile positions,”

Now multiple USAF refuelers are seen above the Persian Gulf & Gulf of Oman refuelling US jets to enforce new US engagement rules.

The rest remains to be seen.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

PressTV

Informed military source:

🔺 Iran is fully prepared for any scenario in response to US hostile moves in the Strait of Hormuz, and Washington knows Iran will not tolerate Trump and US forces attempting to intimidate others.

🔺 Iranian forces have already fired warning shots at several US military vessels, and just like during the “40-day war”, Iran will not allow American combat ships to pass, and any transit through the Strait of Hormuz will require authorization from Iran’s armed forces.

🔺 All vessels should learn from the 40-day war and not end up paying the price for US recklessness.

🔺 Iran has other response scenarios ready and will act on them if necessary.

I’ve been thinking the same. Plastic will be come unaffordable quite soon. Future generations will remember this as a boon.

Yes, the moulded plastic bottle is pretty much a “one-way” use of petrochemical material, which may find “higher use” (become pretty expensive). But there’s another factor. Glass bottles require moulding too, at high temperature…the series is a dual input of material recycled glass and chemical (mineral) feed, melting with methane/air… Read more »

I get milk in glass jugs, take it back to the store, they wash it and use it again. That’s the big difference between glass and plastic. We have to stop living in a disposable world.

I agree entirely. As I wrote: “..rationally we ought to see bottles being recycled intact, as was the case in WW2 and the 1950’s…” Canning jars, naturally, are used over and over again…only the lids are used once…and they being steel are easily recycled…and find numerous secondary use… Some laws will… Read more »

Indeed so! Sometimes even without the victor’s “help” but due to latent internal stresses. Which would have happened, I think, if the Constitution of 1789 had not been … er, “created” (probably illegally).and again if not for Lincoln’s treason.

A pertinent, timely, inquiry. In simple terms, if an enemy comes to kill you, and you stop him/her, by whatever means, that’s victory. You’re alive, and your enemy was stopped from achieving his/her goals. Geopolitically, is of course, a lot more complex, however, simplicity is a virtue. The two main… Read more »

They are a zionazi frontline on the Persian Gulf.

Their existence is a threat against Iran.

Sooner or later, they need to be wiped out. For good.
