It is unsure whether the ceasefire in Lebanon came as a result of Iranian pressure and linking Lebanon with Iran in terms of war. I’ve seen reporting where it is stated that Iran was quite willing to go back to war, if Lebanon is excluded.

Israel has committed almost 10 violations in just 10 hours of a new ceasefire, where they are allowed to stay in their positions. It’s the usual, there are still 9 and a half days left on this ceasefire.

Israel has no intention to cease their fire, or this war.

Despite Israeli threats, tens of thousands of civilians have already started moving from the North back to the South of the country where they were displaced.

Senior security source to Press TV: Iran forced Israel to halt Beirut attacks

🔺 A senior security source told Press TV that due to Iran’s insistence and pressure, the Zionist regime was forced to stop its attacks on Beirut. Following the regime’s brutal assaults on Lebanon, Iran—by emphasizing the unity of the resistance front—had made the cessation of these attacks a precondition for its participation in temporary ceasefire negotiations with the United States. According to the source, an Iranian delegation’s trip to Islamabad was postponed several times for this very reason, and Iran warned that continued Zionist attacks on Lebanon could nullify the talks altogether. Fars News reports that simultaneous with Israel’s attacks on Lebanon, the passage of oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz has been halted.

According to the report, earlier in the day two oil tankers were granted safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz with authorization from Iran.

Latest Update – Rescuing downed airmen:  As expected, the story changes.

Fars News’s report on the turn of events re: finding the American pilot.

• Since Saturday night, search operations to find the American pilot(s) have continued in the 3 provinces: Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Isfahan, and Kohgiluyeh & Boyer-Ahmad.

• Isfahan: Around 2 AM today, Iranians in southern Isfahan reported hearing the sound of an airplane flying, and simultaneously, the sound of drones and helicopters was heard in parts of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad.

• According to local sources, until about 5 AM, several explosions were heard in southern Isfahan. The IRGC & Army then announced in statements the destruction of 2 MQ-9 and Hermes 900 drones, and the Khatam al-Anbiya also reported the destruction of 2 transport planes (C-130 Hercules) and 2 helicopters.

• Some local sources reported that the US attempted to destroy the remains of the crashed aircraft and even the bodies of killed American forces.

• Field sources also report the killing of several American forces by Iran’s armed forces.

• Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad: During the enemy’s early morning attack on a point in Siyah Mountain, a point in Kakan, and the Vozg area of Yasuj city, there were a total of 9 martyrs and 7 wounded.

• Some media linked these attacks to the search operation for the pilot and even claimed that American forces were deployed to rescue the American pilot, but official provincial sources denied these claims.

Rescuing downed airmen: We simply do not know. All that is out now, is footage of what is purported to be burned out airplanes. Iran should make statements during the course of today and even then, the issue might not be clear.  Trump announced  that the co-pilot of the downed F-15 has been rescued and extracted from Iran.  Hollywood wins this one so far.  (I can think of movies).

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Public Relations (IRGC):  By the grace of God, an American enemy aircraft that was searching for the pilot of the downed fighter jet was destroyed in the southern Isfahan region by the fighters of Islam.  Further details will be provided.

The war continues.  Islamic Resistance (Hezbollah) targeted an Israeli warship at 00:05 on Sunday, April 5, 2026. The vessel, located 68 nautical miles off the Lebanese coast, was reportedly preparing to carry out attacks on Lebanese territory. Finally for this part, nobody is talking (which will last all of 6 minutes for Trump, unless his people put a muzzle on him).  The US has a condition that they call ‘lid’, which I assume is something like ‘put a lid on it’.  Centcom has made no announcements for over 30 hours.   Satellite image providers are instructed not to release any images, but we will get them, as this applies to US side.  According to Prof Marandi, Iran has just burnt communication channels.

The Pentagon has confirmed 1,500 sailors, families, and pets have been relocated from Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain to Norfolk Naval Base in Virginia.

NSA Bahrain is (was) the headquarters of the U.S. 5th Fleet. It was struck multiple times on 28 February, the opening day of Operation Epic Fury, and several times afterwards. This ladies and gents marks a serious inflection point in Trump/Netanyahu’s war of choice against Iran.
