A short contribution to the US elections

By Amarynth

I was cogitating making a post on what is happening in Gaza, the West Bank, Southern Lebanon and the incursions into Syria (the free part).

When the current genocide started AHH and I agreed that we will not post ‘war gore’ and will avoid posting the dead. At times, there were so many dead, that their flesh was put into plastic bags and weighed, to get an idea of how many were killed.  Some days both AHH and I burned with horror and one or the other would post some curated pictures, but this happened seldom.  I see that Periol today has much Gaza coverage in his Chronicles of the Apocalypse.  We thought alike.  https://sovereignista.com/globalsouthforum/topic/chronicles-of-the-apocalypse-02-november-2026/

Following Gaza and surrounds still every day, my feeling varies between blind anger and deep sadness.  There is no end to the genocide.

  • Every day, there are bombardments and people killed.
  • Every day, people are injured, losing their arms and legs.
  • Every day, families are forced to flee their homes as the Yellow Line continues to advance.
  • Every day, many families struggle to find enough food to survive.
  • Every day, tents and the people inside are torn apart by intense gunfire.
  • Every day, people go without access to safe drinking water and people walking to and from watersources, are deliberately targeted
  • The Israeli occupation continues to control the closure of the crossings, preventing essential supplies and basic necessities from entering Gaza.
  • Gaza is still experiencing the realities of war. Do not believe that this humanitarian catastrophe is over.

-Israeli occupation forces raids UNRWA schools in Shu’fat refugee camp in occupied Jerusalem.

-Gaza’s Ministry of Interior: 75 police officers and personnel have been killed since the ceasefire came into effect in October last year.

-Israeli occupation forces withdraw from Hebron (Al-Khalil) after displacing residents of 540 homes, leaving widespread destruction during a 10 day military siege.

-Mayor Yousef al-Jaabari told Safa News Agency that Israeli occupation forces ended their ten-day siege and withdrew from all neighborhoods of Hebron (Al-Khalil), in the occupied West Bank, at 6:00 am, allowing residents to begin returning to their homes and inspecting the damage left by the Israeli assault.  -According to Jaabari, residents of approximately 540 houses and residential units were displaced during the assault, with Israeli forces converting some of the properties into military barracks.

-The assault also caused extensive damage to infrastructure and vehicles, while roads were bulldozed. The mayor said residents have begun inspecting their homes and belongings, while the municipality will assess the damage and document the losses. Daily life has started to resume, with students returning to schools and universities.

-Israeli settlers set fire to centuries-old olive trees near the village of Iskaka, in the central West Bank district of Salfit, earlier today. In a separate incident, settlers vandalized and smashed a parked Palestinian vehicle in Osarin, a village south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

-Israeli occupation forces have posted warning signs across Western Samdaniya, Rasm al-Rawadi, and Quneitra, in Syria, banning residents from traveling in convoys larger than three vehicles and threatening targeted action against ‘violators.’

-Israeli bulldozers are seen demolishing residential homes in the southern Lebanese town of Zawtar al-Sharqiya.

-Israeli attacks have damaged over 22 percent of Lebanon’s agricultural land

According to an interview given to Anadolu Agency by Lebanese Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani, Israeli attacks have directly affected approximately 56,000 hectares of farmland, representing 22.5 percent of Lebanon’s total agricultural land.

The minister revealed that 52,000 hectares of the damaged land lie across the south, while an additional 4,000 hectares were devastated in the eastern Baalbek-Hermel governorate. Beyond crop destruction, Hani reported catastrophic impacts on livestock, noting that the country lost over 30,000 beehives and roughly 70 percent of its livestock across southern Lebanon due to persistent shelling and bombings.

-Hani condemned Tel Aviv’s deliberate use of banned chemical agents, confirming that “Israel used white phosphorus during the war and sprayed areas near the border, particularly forested land, with glyphosate herbicide.”

The minister explained that while winter rainfall initially reduced chemical concentration levels in soil and water, renewed Israeli bombardments and ongoing ground occupation have blocked specialized Ministry teams from accessing border zone farmlands to conduct necessary environmental hazard assessments and soil testing.

-The destruction of 24,000 hectares of olive groves and the bulldozing of farmland have further crippled southern production, which historically accounts for 70 percent of Lebanon’s citrus output and 90 percent of its banana crops.

Some of the footage in the genocide archive was taken by children as young as 10 who took over as journalists as most Gaza journalists were deliberately targeted and killed.
