Yemen’s Ansarullah Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi warns the Israelis and gives them a 4-day deadline to bring humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, otherwise he will resume the naval operations.

(Yeah, I guess Russia is trembling in its boots.  First comments out are that Trump wants to save the Ukraine from total defeat in Kursk.  Russia has been through this before.  I cannot understand that Trump thinks Russia is going to react after a few concessions on weapons and stopping US intelligence for the Ukraine, as well as a few vague promises to lift sanctions.  His people (Marco Rubio and arguably Tulsi Gabbard) have now clearly announced that this is a proxy war between the US and Russia, so, guess who is losing!   Europe is threatening Russia as well.   I suggest it is white flag territory).

The White House is prepared to introduce more sanctions against Russia if doing so would help resolve the Ukraine conflict, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated on Thursday. Such measures could be used as leverage against Moscow during peace negotiations, he said.

They keep looking for leverage but, they ‘don’t have the cards’.

Russian MoD:  Last night, the Russian Armed Forces launched a group strike by high-precision long-range air-, sea-, and ground-based weapons as well as unmanned aerial vehicles at the gas and power infrastructure that supported the Ukrainian defence industry enterprises. The goal of the strike was achieved. All the targets were engaged.

The dog that barks – Trump is rolling backward. Trump has announced a postponement (https://apnews.com/article/tariffs-trump-economy-mexico-canada-bfed103a11a2a71d8353350f94c78814) of tariffs once again.

Trump announced today that tariffs on Mexico will be postponed for one month after a conversation with the nation’s president. This comes after commerce secretary Howard Lutnik announced that the tariffs on both Mexico and Canada would “likely” be postponed.

The administration has already carved out a large number of exemptions, most notably for autos, which had largely defanged the tariffs and turned them into mostly symbolic gestures. Now, it looks like they may not happen at all.

Of course, the regime and it’s followers can still profit. Every time Trump announces tariffs, they buy the dip in the market, and every time he backs off, they sell. A straightforward, but effective scheme from one of the nation’s premiere con artists.

While Zelenski is clearly a war criminal (financial as well), they will be removing him by fair means or foul. When is a removal of a president (de facto and not very legal president of country 404 in this case), by another state legitimate and when not? -More secrets: It is reported that Trump’s Team held ‘secret’ negotiations with Hamas. There is not much more information as yet. I saw a short statement from Hamas saying that the release of more Israeli hostages depends on Phase II of the peace agreement being implemented.  Even Hamas, at the cost of their lives, says NYET! (These talks were confirmed by the White House: “The special envoy does have the authority to talk to anyone…Israel was consulted…Dialogue and talking to people around the world is good faith effort to do what’s right for the American people.”

These incidents of secrecy confirms that we are dealing with the very same empire, working hard to present themselves and their President as a force for peace. Let us no longer fall for that because it is sheer gaslighting. If one stands for peace, the fact of the ongoing killing in West Asia makes a mockery of the idea of peace. Dmitry Peskov states it clearly: MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. The religious views of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio do not make the United States a friendly country of shared values for Russia, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

Maria Zakharova is also not really impressed and calls on the business of the business: “Russia is waiting for the US to form a team of negotiators, after which Moscow will appoint its representative.”

Marco Rubio: Ukraine conflict is a ‘PROXY WAR’ between US and Russia.  “Frankly, it’s a proxy war between nuclear powers, the United States helping Ukraine and Russia, and it needs to come to an end.”

Yet … Washington has paused US aid to Ukraine while reviewing whether or not to continue, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt has said.  She made the statement in a press conference on Wednesday, when asked by a journalist if the aid freeze was permanent.  “The National Security Council told me… they paused or they are reconsidering the funding for Ukraine,” Leavitt replied.

Trump’s Speech to Congress – Nothing really new in the speech and basically it was a listing of the various Executive Orders signed with a sprinkle of Canada and Greenland.
-Zelenski sent a letter and Trump says they (the Ukraine) is ready to sign a minerals deal and a peace deal.
-Blackrock (drain the swamp) is buying what so far seems to be the Chinese ownership part of the Panama Canal from CK Hutchison, the Hong Kong conglomerate that operates ports near the Panama Canal. Trump did not put forward the details, just said that a conglomerate will be buying the canal but up to now, it looks like a straight-up purchase. not of the canal, but the part that China built and owned.
“Asian logistics giant CK Hutchison Holdings will sell a 90% interest in Panama Ports Company to a consortium that includes US investment holding BlackRock, its subsidiary Global Infrastructure Partners, and Geneva-based container terminals major Terminal Investment, according to a joint statement issued by CK Hutchison and BlackRock on Tuesday.”

Panama Ports Company holds the contract to run the ports of Balboa and Cristobal, located at the Pacific and Atlantic entrances of the canal respectively, until 2047.

Panama still says: President of Panama: The Panama Canal is ours and will remain so. We reject Trump’s repeated insults to us.

National Security Council spokesman Brian Hughes says the White House has rejected Egypt’s Gaza reconstruction plan.

“The current proposal does not address the reality that Gaza is currently uninhabitable and residents cannot humanely live in a territory covered in debris and unexploded ordnance,” Hughes says in a statement to the CBS News broadcaster.

According to Shaffer, Zelensky secretly signed a 100-year deal with the UK on January 17, securing Ukraine’s resources for Starmer’s government. The peace agreement for Gaza is hanging by shreds.  Netanyahu has just stopped all incoming aid.

Israeli PM Netanyahu officially announces full blockade, collective punishment and starvation on Gaza, no aid will be allowed and all borders will be closed while claiming that Israel didn’t violate the agreement.  The terrorist Zionist occupation is considering cutting off electricity and water completely from the Gaza Strip in the coming hours.

Comments are now beginning to pour in. Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the EU, Egypt, UN Special Rapporteur in the Palestinian Territories: Gaza’s complete closure again as hostilities resume is an escalation of Israel’s genocidal campaign against Palestinians — we will see who else. They demand movement to the 2nd phase of the peace agreement which means withdrawal of Israel from Gaza. Israel refuses and there is much violence from the occupiers shooting whatever moves. Settler mobs are on the rampage and attacking whatever they can find to attack. Demonstrators are gathering again across the world.

In Israel it is not quiet either. Protesters clash with police near Netanyahu’s home. Demonstrators are demanding Netanyahu goes through with 2nd phase of ceasefire deal to release more hostages.

Nord Stream 2 — From Sabotage to Surrender: The Empire Comes Crawling Back

It’s almost poetic, isn’t it? The pipeline Washington swore to kill, the lifeline Berlin was too cowardly to defend, and the infrastructure NATO sabotaged in an act of pure economic terrorism, now, suddenly, it’s back on the table. Not as a concession to Russia, but as a desperate bargaining chip because the American empire ran out of cards to play in Ukraine.

Let’s get one thing straight: Nord Stream 2 has always been Russia’s ace in the hole. Moscow didn’t need to beg or bend. While Europe stumbled into recession under the weight of US-imposed energy suicide, Russia diversified eastward, filling the energy void in China, India, and the Global South. Now, as Western economies creak under inflation and deindustrialization, it’s Russia that holds the only key capable of reviving Germany’s manufacturing corpse.

And now, after years of screeching about “energy weaponization,” the same US oligarch class that sanctioned, sabotaged, and propagandized against Nord Stream 2 suddenly wants a cut. Why? Because peace in Ukraine, the peace Russia will dictate on the battlefield, comes with a price. And that price is energy security.

Russia doesn’t need Nord Stream 2, Europe does. Moscow can sit back and watch Brussels choke on overpriced US LNG while Chinese and Indian factories hum with cheap Siberian gas. If Nord Stream 2 flows again, it will be on Russia’s terms, with no illusions of trust in Berlin, and certainly no handouts for Washington’s “investors” looking to skim off the top.

The empire that declared Russia isolated is now begging for a piece of the action, a fitting humiliation for the collapsing unipolar order.

The message from Moscow is simple: Energy flows East now. If you want the tap back on, the price isn’t just in euros, it’s in sovereignty.

The European Union, at its summit on March 6, may provide Ukraine with funding amounting to hundreds of billions of euros, Macron stated. They are choosing war in Europe. And the missiles will fly.

Cubans gathered for a rally in Guantanamo to protest the American naval base, which has been a symbol of human rights violations for decades. (If you don’t understand it yet, US Law is suspended at the Guantanmo base as it is offshore of the US itself). US authorities promise that they will uphold due process at the torture camp. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Sunday that “due process will be followed” for all migrants housed at Guantánamo Bay The administration plan to house housands of migrants at a military camp there.

Some good news: On Monday, Russian Ambassador to Cuba Viktor Koronelli told TASS in an interview that Cuba has officially applied for partnership status at BRICS+. He also confirmed that Cuba’s leader Miguel Diaz-Canel has the invitation to take part in BRICS Plus/Outreach, an extended meeting of the grouping at the coming summit in Kazan.

From Maria Zaharova on Ukraine and events of the last few days : As before, we continue to operate on the premise that a truly just and durable peace is not possible unless the root causes of the Ukraine crisis are completely eliminated.

The main ones among them include:

🔻 the West breaking its promises not to expand NATO and the alliance’s absorption of Europe’s entire geopolitical space all the way up to Russia’s borders,
🔻 the Kiev regime’s systematic elimination of everything about Russia, including language, culture, and church, just like the German Nazis did in the past.

The demilitarisation and denazification of Ukraine, as well as recognition of existing realities on the ground remain Russia’s unchanged objectives.

☝️ The sooner Kiev and the European capitals come to realise this, the closer to a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine crisis we will be.

Ukrainians continue to fight their biggest enemy – the US – in every way they can: parents are starting to rename their children, for example, “Javelina” to “Anastasia”. (No, this is not a joke).

Nicaragua announced on Thursday it would withdraw from the United Nations Human Rights Council, following a UN report that urged the international community to address human rights violations by President Daniel Ortega’s government. Vice President and first lady, Rosario Murillo, called the decision “sovereign and irrevocable,” stating Nicaragua would cease participation in all activities related to the Human Rights Council and its “satellite mechanisms.”

Human Rights is of course one vector of attack on Latin American Countries, exactly the same as we see it used in other areas of the world. Ex: accusing China of human rights abuses against Uyghurs and other Turkic Muslim minorities in Xinjiang. There have been mostly made up reports of mass arbitrary arrests and detention, torture, mass surveillance, cultural and religious persecution, family separation, forced labor, sexual violence, and violations of reproductive rights. The most virulent of these abuses were from ASPI, a think-tank out of Australia that is now out of business because NED has been deprived of funds.

It is going to be fascinating to see how the new State Department adds back funding to destabilization groups.
