Link to the article below.  It’s a long read, and definitely from a Western perspective.  It’s hard to tell how much an outsider really knows about the situation with the Russian oil industry.  Reading this, though, I get a sense for why NATO/USrael think they can win a war of attrition with Russia in Ukraine, and also why Russia is quite eager for negotiations and normalization.
