Thank you for these links, very interesting.

It’s all a little too “Naked Capitalism” for me to believe it will work, but I don’t doubt the US Capitalists think it will work.  Definitely appreciate the analysis though – everyone knows there’s something going on under the surface of the current events in West Asia.  The whole thing felt too coordinated, the slip into “petroyuan” too easy.  Iran changing things up and charging tolls in Rials would seem to be a counter to this plan.

I think at the end of the day the economic skullduggery will take a backseat to kinetic warfare.  Who what where when why and how just isn’t clear yet.  Everyone still thinks the emperor is wearing clothes, so we shall see.

EDIT:  forgot to mention…  There’s one glaring issue with this guy’s analysis I noticed right away.  He mentions the petroyuan as part of a supposed BRICS currency push to replace the dollar with something, or replace the dollar with the yuan as a reserve currency.  I don’t think that is being pushed at all, that’s a western narrative – although it’s possible coked up western financiers believe it to be true.  I think BRICS nations see quite clearly how damaging being a reserve currency is to the homeland, and do not want it.  China does not want it.  The trap being outlined assumes China wants the petroyuan, is looking for reserve currency status, and the USA can cut them off at the knees trying to achieve it.  If this is truly the trap, it is destined to fail.
