ParticipantHaving previously heard a discussion of the styles of escalation characteristic of the Russian civilization as opposed to that of zone west, and listened to the Helmer discussion above, I note that in the latter this difference is visible. Rus plans for a future very large and sudden escalation, a gotterdammerung, while west zone ratchets up in frequent steps. Helmer’s “Clocks” run at two different rates.
