That aligns with your suspicion that “golden dome” is a weapon, etc. The US space station has held up remarkably well…but fatigue due to thermal stresses has taken a toll… the sun-side is on the outside, blistering hot, the shade side very cold…metals don’t do that very well, and what’s hot, after a while, gets cold…thousands of cycles of thermal growth. Temperature management is a big deal…getting rid of waste heat…it’s all complex thermodynamics, radiation coupling and emissivity stuff… I have confidence in the Chinese engineering, and their metallurgists…I would not be surprized if they’d developed alloys just for this problem. The Kessler “syndrome” is as real as anything can be…and machines to “clean” are discussed…I suppose the Chinese are working on that…but cascades of collisions are already a problem, especially in low orbits. These are not geosynchronous…they can’t be. Geosynchronous orbit is about 24,000 miles up…but even there there are asymmetries in drag… probably mostly tidal forces. The birdies must correct position. Ahbetcha they plan to use ion thrusters or related reaction devices, “tiny rocket motors”…electric, they use no appreciable fuel… 😉 I assume the CTC-1 and CTC-2 groups are in the high orbits…roughly 24k. It takes plenty more energy to put birdies in high orbit… ‘spensive. Networking at 24k is pretty clean due to the signal to noise ratio being favorable. The Kessler problem seems also to make even the system you’re speaking of, which is not “AI, intensely problematic. Probably unrealistic.
Satellites don’t operate just fine, they bang into things, they have limited lives, their orbits have to be adjusted constantly, they have fuel limits, the atmospheric drag varies with insolation and tides, especially for the low altitude birdies. A mathematician I know, knows a guy who “flies” satellites for a living…orbital calculations and most economical strategies. But the density of debris and machines in orbit grows exponentially….a non-linear difficulty…so even if they did work just fine now, they won’t work fine in the near future. —I wonder if Tuski is a politician. She does not seem to be making policy, and she was not elected. Further, it seems that she wields no power. The vague “secret” claims against her, while partisan and cheap, may well be true, generally, it seems, she is suspected of being a liaison agent with or to one or more “foreign powers”…a “spy”…which might be construed to mean that she’s not serving hegemon or empire, but possibly is serving her Country. Something along these lines took place with VP Wallace during Truman’s terms…both the transition and the elected term. They called him “an agent of the Kremlin”…and in a sense he was. Perhaps she’s a Putin-Versteher… I would not be surprised. Similar accusations aimed at the nasty orange guy were uttered by the blood-thirsty witch in a previous campaign for office.

ParticipantIt’s one thing to be cold, another to rid an object of heat…two different matters. Temperature management in satellites is very complex. I agree that they desire to rule, but the claim of method doesn’t work. In space is one thing, in orbit it’s a whole ‘nuther game. And the power requirements don’t work either…something like 100 MW, though even 5 MW would be a real problem…in orbit, when normal to the sun, <1,400 watts per sq meter, and then what happens when the machine is in shadow? In orbit much of the time the radiation element faces not space, but earth, much of the time the PV array is in shadow and input watts = zero…it’s not a feasible project as it’s described. The numbers don’t work. But I asked a question…what lies behind the story? Just offhand I would posit that most of the machine will be on earth, because of the mass, maintenance, power and cooling requirements. The parts in orbit would be not AI, but simply small mass minimal power elements of a global system…the parts that observe and transmit…relays, essentially. A “super-star-link-net”… just offhand… But you may be sure it’s not feasible to “move AI to orbit”.

This was not just a rogue administrator. The evidence that I present below suggests collusion involving clinical preceptors, clerkship directors, senior administrators, and even the Board of Regents–appointed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
From what the documents suggest, the coordination mechanism appears to have been between the senior administration at the medical school and Texas Tech’s legal department.
