My soporific nocturnal readings often bring me to rise and look things up…somewhat antisoporific, but also a sort of adventure… thus, minding the great Uncle Ludwig B and his constant (bio wiki Ludwig Boltzmann ) I discovered a wonderful travelogue from 1905, describing a trip to America and Berkeley in those simpler days… great charm.

I was evidently unclear. Of course nukes won’t work, as I said they do not produce any victory, only a deeper failure, a failure worse than Gaza. In the instance, however, I fancy the nukes might be aimed at Iran, not Yemen. Use being the signal of abject moral corruption and worthlessness, it’s synonymous with defeat. Since the Pirates are faced with an existential catastrophe, they may be expected to use every weapon, no matter how idiotic the effect. If they were better educated, well, then they might… ah! but the machine selects for fools… I am recalling too that these men of Pirate sort are in many examples using drugs… we mustn’t expect sage actions..  Best! I would say that the pirates will attack elsewhere, an indirect approach, of course.
