ParticipantJudging the decline of zone Anoxia. 4:00 local cop o tronic reveals three hooded masked in camo fellas went to a rural residence and stole 2 grand at gunpoint and took off. At residence there were/are kids and adults … 7 persons…now the cops are setting up roadblocks, calling the helio, and taking great care at the rural residence…everyone must exit and submit to examination…like it’s obvious there’s criminal stuff, probably mostly dope sales. The people in residence are not much inclined to go out and chat, the cops are not inclined to risk getting shot. The cops can call up an armored car… as necessary, if it will start. Cops methodically checking, “clearing”, large number of “outbuildings”. Not job I’d like! Will they discover a desperado ready to shoot? A drug “lab”, a stash? Stolen stuff? (probably!) Outcome FA>FO, and trips to crossbar zone. Possibly the people at residence would have been better off to not call the cops. Stupid is as stupid does. @ Anoxia people call cops over incredibly trivial stuff. Trained rats – the radio-cell-phone made it ever so easy to rat on one another, and they do. Of course home invasion robbery under arms, is not trivial.
………….
Term “NOMA” and the Gould thesis in re Magisteria non overlapping. This was new to me as a formal thesis. I suspect that while valid at this time, the thesis does not account for origin, at which time the Magisteria was, perforce imho, unified and 100% overlapping. I may change my mind… Pointing out that the animals also perceive Magisteria, if we may generalize by observation of them, especially of the familiar animals, we see that the animals use scientific methods quite naturally, as well as hold beliefs, and so on. And God said to the animals, let us make man… We shall see how my thought in the matter develops.

were considered Well, if you look at the top of the Russian government, you were considered very liberal democratic politicians in

recent years, your political image has changed a lot and you are called the main hater on behalf of the Russian…Such question interest old man @ Anoxia as well.
Recalling the Ritter, who pointed out that it was not the dead traitor shanked or whacked in the joint, but the CP that was/is the “opposition” in zone Rus.
And the good, Phaedrus, do we need anyone to tell us what is good?

ParticipantAh! The Lady no longer adds to her X files. Still, a sprightly gal I like, and her old stuff is nice, what’s left on X under her name. Kaspersky rejects her actual website, btw.

ParticipantAbout the urgency of Slavery as a crime..metaphorical tale> Longtimeago a “not-white” couple of boys were fishing while their loving father worked on a boat engine, deep inside a steel 45 footer. Making a few extra bucks. Heavy current. End of dock. One kid dropped his pole. Dad! What should I do! Splash, Get it! Help, splash, and all the rest. Presented with such a scene one may in an instant consider the matter, but the choice to rescue is impossible to resist. The boy was chosen to be saved. It was judged not possible to save the father. That’s a story I’d pose to GGDad. Now then, was that a good choice? Will the now grown boy hate the white guy that failed to save his dad? Hate himself for dropping the pole? What about the other boy? How will their stories evolve? And the fellow doing the rescue, how about the terrible guilt from choosing? Would it have been better to let the two or three all drown?
After CW GGD went to medical school, a real one, such as they were. I imagine he had some practical surgery under instruction, sorts of experience in the war. He and GD brought the first microscope west of Mississippi river – I used to play with it, bronze, made in France.
Roberts’ essay on the Northern War of Aggression is, I think, pretty straight.
John Brown was, in Granny’s house, a hero. Well, yes, I agree, bearing in mind the actual definition. These days we see a multitude of heroic deeds.
CW as an inevitable product of original contradiction? Yes I agree, and of course the contradictions were perpetuated – my hunch is that the assassination was important to perpetuate said contradictions…the great industrial fortunes deriving from sutler graft, DuPont, and such leading, in measure, to such adventures as the Businessman’s Plot, and Dulles pair, Brown Brothers…and to the collapse we witness.
I would ask GGD also, how much of your war was merely the natural adventuring of a boy, and how much was it theological or philosophical, and how were things at home when you joined up? What, if anything, did mom and dad say?
Apropos of the time, interesting diary>
……….and iirc, he mentions hear-tell of a recovery from tetanus by means of massive cannabis extract and good nursing… said recovery taking place in India… But of course very exciting in view of the ordinary course of that infection. I ought to re-read it.I note that their lordships now define belief in natural rights, people who see that rights come from God, as “Christian Nationalists” . The State now is the sole source of rights, they say. And they say that these people who believe that their rights come from God are not Christian. Astonishing. And in the South how does that play? 😉 Actually it don’t play @ Anoxia either. Speaking of Georgia (!/?) Cynthia McKinney on X is a fun gal to read.

ParticipantMaybe there’s a misapprehension. I see no disagreement. Yours is in fine detail. It is about what I would like to discuss with GGDad. imho, fwiw, I agree with your view. Used. (Well, the devil works with what’s there, eh?, GGD lacked doubt. I did not. ) But you are the far better student and informed. Nevertheless, at 15, we succumb to ardent emotion, learned views and actions, and inherited spiritual dedication. Speaking of Carolina, ah, those old fellows of mine included brothers from Scotland and a profitable, prosperous, plantation, and a Quaker Decision, and manumission of the crew, if mother was truthful (she never lied). They were financially ruined, and moved west. I have worked alongside a descendant, recognizing the family name. The story he told me, fella I worked with at the army, is about the same. The dates are in Quaker histories, long prior to the civil war.
Moving forward in Time… Ludlow Massacre an’ the rest. Machine guns on strikers, families in the snow…very democratic.
General Lee kept his oath. The removal is perfidious. And ominous.
First colonize this, then that, then some more, and begin eating the children, so to say. Pretty soon people get upset. Well, those make contradictions, and lead to violence. God made the universe that way, imho. 😉 , speaking of Palestine and Yemen and RoW.

half-fail, er half-fair election and Trump… Recalling learned discussion with expert in Rules of Order and in US Law…(That fellow is another I’d like to chat with at Abe’s) The procedural question of how was Washington elected arose. And we saw/see that there is no necessity for a popular vote. It was his opinion that C. Griffin, last President Continental Congress, was the first president of the united states…Washington being Nr 2 in terms of precise legal procedure. If the Congress can meet, they can elect… Recalling the mostly peaceful riots and the handy and mysterious pallets of bricks…shall we see U Haul trailers filled with ammo and machine pistols “from 404” magically appear? I am remembering legal principle Kosovo and the Crimea vote… When cracks exceed a critical size, machine break nearly instantaneously. Will the army obey when called upon in such a Maiden fraud? Will the Sheriff?Mr P
ParticipantI agree. If, perchance, I get the trip to Abe’s he’s on the interview list. I’m of opinion, based on stories from mother and granny, mostly, that for the boy, well, his family were deadly serious abolitionists…that was the only issue for him, as he’d been smuggling escapees for most all his then short life. Things are very clear at 15, sometimes. I only knew one of his sons, and not for very long. (I did climb trees with his black-powder rifle, and broke it…) My own opinion is that the secession was lawful, but from the perspective of Lincoln foreign and domestic political and economic vectors combined with his executive responsibility things were not so simple…as we suspect from the
plotconspiracy to dispose of him. The contradictions, which remain, in corpus US remind me of Kennan’s letter…speaking of the fellas of the South!I will read the mooted papers. Many thanks. Best! P
Mr P
ParticipantAlas, my reading eye skips, generally, names. I do expect I’ll remember the material or voice, style, genre, interests, and so forth.
Very fine collection above. Kudos Comrade!
The fellow on RT new just now, the yank, whose name! alas! opined that the 2024 US turf will be especially stimulating, as the southern border dopegangsfinks will “find” arms from 404, and use ’em. I do believe the handy phrase “civil war” was uttered. Oh my! Did those guns ever even go to 404?
The pace quickens. Well, that’s what happens in time such as we witness. Expected.
Analysis, such as we may perceive by media of the implied policy developments zone Rus – the spirit and zeit – Rus is no longer naive. I might repeat that and add that La Russie est désormais engagée et compte bien vaincre les criminels, les pirates et les bandits qui menacent la paix.
I note> HMS Prince of Wales’s unfortunate breakdown in August 2022 requiring extended repair work has not enhanced the RN’s image and provided perfect fodder for mainstream media always keen to exaggerate problems with aircraft carriers. . . Very shortly after sailing from Portsmouth on 27th August a coupling that joins sections of the starboard propeller shaft failed, causing significant damage to the shaft, propeller and some superficial damage to the rudder. The ship was subsequently dry docked in Rosyth inspection and repair. It has emerged the coupling break was the result of vibration caused because the shaft was out of alignment, something that was known about long before the carrier first left the shipyard in 2019.
And remark> Rotating machine failures are almost always due to misalignment. Yeah, like you can say death is 100% due to heart failure, but seriously, Larry Johnson’s post (Ejectile Dysfunction) https://sonar21.com/the-u-k-s-ejectile-dysfunction-failure-to-launch/ is missing the “detail” that shaft alignment in ships is as basic as making coffee. And it’s complex, a job that must be done by experienced experts, and it can be sweaty and nasty difficult physically, and since it’s often done with computerized laser-gadgets, most “experts” can’t really do a proper shaft alignment with the tools of the 1940’s, dial indicators, pencil and paper, and so on. Bear in mind that steel is pretty flexible, so the “foundations” for ship machinery, bearings, gearboxes, engines, move as the sea and the loading and the power and temperature and so on change, and if there’s a grounding ! Ah… That’s especially bad. Things bend. ( BTW in Cruel Sea (film), Chief ERA Watts reports to skipper “Its the after coupling sir, an awkward place…” And the fellas hammer away with slugging wrenches for hours as the ship rolls helpless in sea of U-Boot.) The aircraft carrier story sounds to me like the after coupling came apart and the right side prop banged into the rudder… lucky it didn’t fall off and sink the ship through the hole. It’s incredible. The sounds underway down in the heart of the ship when the coupling failed must have been terrible. Proper machinery sounds sweet.

Burroughs. Nasty fella. Also say true about his Country. I shudda went an’ seen ‘im at Lawrence, Granny’s home town. He has a routine about the “hot shot” circa 1940…
Better you do not read that. Nevertheless he was a prophet, it figures.

SARS-CoV-2 placentitis, stillbirth, and maternal COVID-19 vaccination: clinical–pathologic correlations
David A. Schwartz, MD, MS HygSarah B. Mulkey, MD, PhD
Drucilla J. Roberts, MD
Open AccessPublished:October 12, 2022DOI:https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ajog.2022.10.001Stillbirth is a recognized complication of COVID-19 in pregnant women that has recently been demonstrated to be caused by SARS-CoV-2 infection of the placenta. Multiple global studies have found that the placental pathology present in cases of stillbirth consists of a combination of concurrent destructive findings that include increased fibrin deposition that typically reaches the level of massive perivillous fibrin deposition, chronic histiocytic intervillositis, and trophoblast necrosis. These 3 pathologic lesions, collectively termed SARS-CoV-2 placentitis, can cause severe and diffuse placental parenchymal destruction that can affect >75% of the placenta, effectively rendering it incapable of performing its function of oxygenating the fetus and to stillbirth and neonatal death via malperfusion and placental insufficiency. Placental infection and destruction can occur in the absence of demonstrable fetal infection. Development of SARS-CoV-2 placentitis is a complex process that may have both an infectious and immunologic basis. An important observation is that in all reported cases of SARS-CoV-2 placentitis causing stillbirth and neonatal death, the mothers were unvaccinated. SARS-CoV-2 placentitis is likely the result of an episode of SARS-CoV-2 viremia at some time during the pregnancy. This article discusses clinical and pathologic aspects of the relationship between maternal COVID-19 vaccination, SARS-CoV-2 placentitis, and perinatal death.
Do keep a copy of the full article. And do a bit of checking on the listed authors.
