ParticipantTexas will have the last laugh. Clean stable and pig sty too!
BTW Simonyan @ RT might find the widow a job, right now, one suitable – translator?…… have her write the history…ah dunno, but she needs a job. Work, especially giving work, can suspend and modulate grief, and everybody needs a salary. She also needs armed tough fellas to protect her. She being no less heroic. And she’s pizzed off the brigands and finks… they might get emotional about the prospect of hanging, and blame her…

MIDDLE EAST IN DEPTH WITH LAITH MAROUF EPISODE 12 – ISRAEL THREATENS RAFA – COLLEGE PROTESTS GROW
In a totally irrelevant memory, triggered by the Comrade’s name, “Laith Marouf”, I recall John Huston and the Treasure of Sierra Madre… and Ret Marut was on the set… Who? One cool cat!
Note he’s pulling a long face for the camera! Smart fella. Camera was London Cops…when he got loose he went on the lamb…did pretty well at it too.
There is a snapshot on Ret taken on the set of the film, I think.
Just in case people wanna know…
Ahbetcha he’s not pulling a long face now (rather grinning at the view screens at Abe’s), which kinda loops back to the long dialogue between Garland and Laith

ParticipantThank you most kindly Cronetoo. It is very sad news, but not unexpected. The form of the crime(s) is a surprise. And the crimes that might be especially pregnant…these have legs, as they say.
Huh?
I note features. Implications. It’s not over. Not by a long shot.
If we posit the posts as true…
Then a fella might suspicion an’ expect>
That there was and/or is ongoing a corrupt conspiracy to conceal the murder, extortion attempt, etc. Conspiracy within the Donesk administration, corruption, covering, attempting to cover up the primary crime against Texas (and his wife), murder. Conspiracy to leave her destitute. Why? Loot? Kickbacks? When did this relationship begin, and so on. Note this seems to imply a coordination between the local government and the brigands, so-called soldiers, for money, we might suppose…and what else? If we mapped out the people and their positions, and heard them speak, testify truly, how many people are involved, and in precisely…what? Did Texas interrupt a crime, looting, rape?
May we assume Federal Prosecutor has many innarrestin’ questions, and is making, like Santa 😉 a list of special people to chat with? I think so.
Comrade Czar, imho, cannot abide brigandage and the murder of a courageous man who loved Russia, cam from America to help her, fought in heavy combat zone for years, who liquidated many fascist stooges fair an’ square the hard way…a decorated veteran of a Russian existential war. He cannot permit the widow to be ignored and impoverished.
I am recalling Romeo and Juliet, when in denouement Prince speaks I by winking at your discord…
Comrade Czar will not wink at this criminal scene. Well, Stumpy’s opinion… I agree.
Remedies do come to mind… These include a proper pension, a high award posthumous to Texas, higher the better. A statue in the main square on a plinth. Bronze if you please!
Stumpy, after a few, said>
(somethin’ about) “….some splendid public fair trials…the Krauts used to shoot fellas that stole stuff in the war, well, some fellas. Bugsy did too…so did Micky. Shooting, firing squad, is for soldiers, a matter of form and protocol. But then they shot Bugsy in the eye, so it has grades of honor, does it not? Rope is for criminals, especially soldiers gone rogue as brigands in cahoots with the cops… That ain’t nokinna soldiernomore.”
Hanging is for brigands, I am told.
Some may expect> Widow may be asked to come to Moscow and meet Czar to receive medal and award. Film at 11…
And some fellas might be thinking of running away, and regretting their little game.
The term “death penalty” always bothered me. How is that punishment? It can be a deterrent with some effectiveness, it can inspire the living. But it is not punishment. However absolutely is, imho, essential to political and civil and military discipline in war-time.
R.I.P my friend.

FROM AMERICAN IN CRIMEA:
From t.me/TXDPR @10:36 April 28, 2024GOODBYE BROTHER!
To the death of “Texas”.
News has just arrived that puts an end to the question of whether our “Texas” is alive or killed.
Killed. A group of “werewolf extortionists” in uniform “from the 5th tank brigade based in Petrovka.”
Russell’s widow, Lyudmila, was officially informed about this by a representative of the military prosecutor’s office who came from Moscow. After Lyudmila’s video appeal to the president, “the matter was taken up at the top,” and here is the first result – recognition. In all senses. Including the detention and confession of the “organizer of the kidnapping and brutal murder.”
Lyuda’s call found me driving, on the highway, on the way from Donetsk to Moscow. About half an hour before the call, after a week of searches, calls and meetings in connection with the Russell case, for the first time in that time I was completely overwhelmed by the feeling that Texas was no longer with us.
I somehow “instinctively” turned on the tune of one of my favorite films, “The Deer Hunter,” a heart-warming anti-war film from 1978. The title of this tune is Cavatina, “little song” in Italian. A lump in my throat, and then Lyudmila’s call.
Goodbye brother!

FROM AMERICAN IN CRIMEA:
Translated from https://t.me/kpobede/460⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
👁 Murder of Russell “Texas” Bentley, basic facts:
🔹A white Niva stolen from near “Avtobaza” was found blown up and burned out at the brick factory in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, almost at the front line. Inside were Russell’s remains.
🔹The body was incinerated. Collected fragments were taken from Donetsk for DNA analysis.
🔹Two separate criminal cases, the “disappearance” and the “murder” cases, were combined into a single case and taken under the control of the Main Military Investigative Authority of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation due to the magnitude of the public outcry. Donetsk tried to hush it up, but Moscow did not allow it.
🔹He was kidnapped by soldiers of the 5th (tank) brigade, the commander of which took the blame of his subordinates.
🔹Russell’s wife took Russell’s destroyed phone from the Niva at “Avtobaza” on April 8, before it was stolen. The phone was restored on April 10 and transferred to the Investigative Committee on April 11. There were no photos, videos or outgoing calls made after 16:15pm on April 8 found in the phone’s memory. Had it been the case, the phone would have been kept as evidence. This is the end of my report on the facts. Personally, I will add that the best memory of Russell would be the continuation of his work of helping people, in whose memory he is still alive. As Texas himself had repeatedly asked, he should be buried next to his close friend, Donetsk bard Sergei Lysenko , who died in the Northern Military District and was buried in the “Zakharchenko square”. Eternal memory… and in songs too. It’s a pity that they never had time to record “Heart” – don’t put off life until tomorrow, because tomorrow it may no longer exist. Live. Take action. Today, here and now.

One might suppose a military tribunal might lead in several directions, and that the fellas involved, and the possibility of more of the same, will be forthcoming. Personally opinion is that a hanging might lie in the near future. It’s important, I’m told, to set examples in the matter of leadership and murder… 🙂
Here’s to y’all Texas!

ParticipantUseful cheap and available chemicals… which store nicely long time.
Wood rot method. Materials.
Rot happens of course. There are many strategies to manage or prevent or slow (or speed up!) our tiny little fungal friends’ behavior. Some favor one wood over another, they dislike char, and some ways of poisoning the wood. Among these several are also toxic to people and critters… Our Great Leaders (believe the science kiddies! (an oxymoronic demand if ever one was!)) make up stupid stories about one thing or another…and then protect us by making useful wood rot preventative materials either prohibited or prohibited to the people who haven’t a spendy “permit”. Very amusing. And
profitableusurious.Anyway> Note that propylene glycol is safer and works just as well. And note that the process gets hot above the flash point of the reagent boiling liquid… There is real prospect of an unintended ignition… Chemistry has its own ideas, sometimes….and does not abide delusions. 😉
I’m saying don’t do stupid stuff and get hurt… Don’t inhale don’t burn down the digs. Don’t do this inside… Ok, don’t do it. I am also saying it’s easy and it’s safe enough for my standards…which are pretty high.
WOOD ROT SOLUTION BORON BORIC ACID ETHYLENE GLYCOL Equivalent to Bora-Care®
Prepare the concentrate: (USE FUME HOOD ETC or work outside, duh.)
(FIRE HAZARD! ABOVE FLASH POINT, AVOID IGNITION! )
Mix 1 Gallon glycol antifreeze, 4 1/2 pounds borax, 3 1/2 pounds boric acid.
Mix the ingredients and heat till boiling gently. Boil off water until a candy thermometer shows 260°F. This removes most of the water of crystallization in the borax.
This solution is stable at 40°F and has a borate content of 26%. This is equivalent to Bora-Care® at about $90/gal. for the concentrate. The concentrate must be diluted with an equal volume of water before being applied.(process takes about 3 hours, and the MUST BE LEFT TO COOL…adding water to dilute while it’s hot can flash to steam…and cause serious injury, blindness, death, and upset people a lot – Let the product cool.
Application: Add 1 gallon of water to every gallon of concentrate and stir thoroughly until solution is completely uniform. Always use diluted within 24 hours after mixing. If kept for longer periods of time, the active ingredient can drop out of the solution.
Note: is toxic to plants and shrubbery; if necessary, cover plants, root systems and surrounding soil with plastic to avoid contamination. Apply only to bare wood. Remove any finish or water repellent coating before applying . Wood surfaces should be free of dirt and other contaminates. Apply diluted by spray or brush to all exposed wood surfaces. It may occasionally be necessary to apply more than one coat of to attain the recommended application rate. This is especially true for larger, smooth surfaced wood members. Wood surfaces should be allowed to dry for at least 2 hours between applications. Do not apply in the rain or snow. If inclement weather is expected, protect exposed treated surface with a plastic tarp for at least 24 hours after treatment. One gallon of concentrate will treat up to 800 board feet of wood. Only diluted should be applied to any wood surface. Prior to application, check wood surfaces for an existing water repellent finish by spraying a small amount of water onto the surface of the wood or logs. If the water beads up or is not absorbed into the wood, a finish is present which must be removed before applying the diluted solution.
ENDE http://alsnetbiz.com/homeimprovement/homemade.html
Note that it’s best to make up a soaking bath in a restricted zone where kitties and critter won’t lap up the sugary solution…and “petrify” the wood. Better still place weighted and submerged in vacuum tank… which is not very hard to rig with stuff from Harbor Freight, and useful all by itself for a multitude of purposes. Do not foul the pump.
Prepping might include getting the stuff to do the above, if needs must in uncertain future… maybe you’ll never have a rot problem, eh? Options can be very nice. Better than money sometimes.
Other useful chemicals Lye, both sodium and potassium chloride, the latter is at the auto parts fella for melt ice mo better… read labels. It’s said that “uncle fester fella” wrote a how-to pamphlet on … well, don’t do any of that stuff. Just don’t.
There are YT videos of people brewing up the borated glycol.
Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate is supposed to be the product, fwiw.
Stay safe.

Photomolecular Effect: Visible Light Interaction with Air-Water Interface
Guangxin Lv, Yaodong Tu, James H. Zhang, Gang Chen
Although water is almost transparent to visible light, we demonstrate that the air-water interface interacts strongly with visible light via what we hypothesize as the photomolecular effect. In this effect, transverse-magnetic polarized photons cleave off water clusters from the air-water interface. We use over 10 different experiments to demonstrate the existence of this effect and its dependence on the wavelength, incident angle and polarization of visible light. We further demonstrate that visible light heats up thin fogs, suggesting that this process can impact weather, climate, and the earth’s water cycle. Our study suggests that the photomolecular effect should happen widely in nature, from clouds to fogs, ocean to soil surfaces, and plant transpiration, and can also lead to new applications in energy and clear water.Everybody knows stuff dries better in the light…but these fellas prised out some stuff! I wonder about spectrum correlating to effect…there must be a relationship…ah intuites.

ParticipantI did not know Cheney climbed poles. Some people might have one for him to…ah…”use”. 😉
Well remembering some events and practices, ahem.
Dean Acheson felled trees for the Canadian Railroad. Cheney climbed pole. Both very dangerous. Fella kin git kilt. But they did not. Which might raise speculation about the whims of fate and God’s jokes… as in Timshel… which many know from East of Eden… and “thou mayest”.
I thought the audience for the Chinese gentleman was riveting, Cheney’s hands trembling and fist clenching as the genteel people of (presumably) Arabia were vastly amused…and Cheney knew it! The wagging finger minded me of the Blues Brothers and the Penguin…a scolding! How savory!
I myself used to very much enjoy working aloft…like pop said, one hand for you and one for the ship…an’ if you never let go you cannot fall. I was also quite happy working under a lake, in underground and surface mines… Just me. The other fellas sometimes had trouble, especially barfing over the side of a 120 foot lift working in the rain on a ship loading crane. I loved it. Other fellas not so much…but they were often using dope, coke mostly, sometime speed and weed…poor sods. Happy as a clam, as Granny would ah said. I judge Cheney as a psycho and coward. Some of my former colleagues too 😉 !
If I were to advocate… I’d tell Cheney to confess and go to a foreign jail… But I do not advocate. 😉 Do I?
Best! P

ParticipantPersistent sign…yeah.
BTW the videos of the Iranian hydro and irrigation project were a study for me…one brief shot showed the boring machine. Nice! Rock on! Seriously, the casting of the “runners” in the jargon of the hydro guys – the spinning parts that get wet aka turbine – is far from trivial. It’s a major achievement to make such precision castings, and the casing and “inlet valves” aka wicket gates. All that wet stuff has to spin in harmonious cooperation, wet with rushing water and there’ always oxygen and some abrasion… and do that alone down there for something like 50 years… Not easy. I was very impressed. The generator armatures and stators are no less critical… They’re not amateurs.
Speaking of turbines Video clip…dated…the man with an electric heart and the Celestial Wisdom… “Oh yeallemeetellyou something Mr smart guy…

ParticipantMany Thanks! And yes, I agree. A good naming. Entirely fair to let the world have the thing stated so precisely. Now we shall wait for a suitable demonstration. Not very long wait I expect. I believe it was Ted Taylor who said to Richard Rhodes that noone has every fail to get a bang on the first shot… so? Test zone “Kim” or where? – nazis like surprises, don’t they? My hunch is that the test site will be in a zone that has myths or cultural significance, and in Persia. Some great mountain may be rumbling deep inside from boring machine.

ParticipantRecalling very basic thermodynamic law, motor of big boat requires cooling water. Assumptions about the quality and temperature of the available cooling limit operation. Red Sea is perhaps a bit to warm for the condensers in steam boat and airplane platform. In Carribe 1962 the USSR submarines had lota cooling trouble, not made to el Carribe warm water, It’s Spring, maybe RS too hot 😉 and too warm. The same basic laws and limits of as-built design of motor in boat apply to gas turbine boats as well as diesels, etc…
I wonder how the fellas are doing aboard those boats. Old fellas tell me that operation of steam engines in navy boat in those waters was extremely disagreeable…in on of the previous adventures…and the sea mines were terrifying, down there in the boiler zone… Don’t worry fellas… It doesn’t help. Once you go to sea… it’s not up to you anymore.

“It originates from the name of one of the six exalted angelic beings forming the train of Ahuramazda called Amshaspand”
“Think good thoughts, say good things, do good deeds”
“It’s another version of Esfand which is the twelveth month in Iranian calendar”.

Salazar, a columnist and KMEX news director, was killed Aug. 29, 1970, at the Silver Dollar Cafe while taking a break from covering a demonstration held to protest the disproportionate number of Latinos being killed in the Vietnam War.
While sitting in the bar having a drink with another journalist, he was shot in the head by a tear gas projectile fired by a sheriff’s deputy. The other journalist, William Restrepo, has repeatedly said deputies were following them before they entered the bar.
The Vietnam vets filled the ranks… Police too. Now they get “training” in another war venue by generous zionist instructors, so that we can be safe.
