“Returned fire” means they are saying, now, that they had incoming rounds. I wonder about that claim. When I hear the occasional crack overhead, as I have many times (but not for year now), I just stay put or slip into cover. If they were trying to shoot me they don’t yet know my position, since I was not hit. If, however, bullets hit really close, (and that’s happened long time ago) I just lie down and hold still. It’s worked so far… 😉

The maths are foundational, I am given to understand. But building the machines is a whole “nuther” matter. Using such “magic” method to hijack an airplane and “teleport it” is frankly stupid. Better use fighters and/or the uninterruptible autopilot system, if it’s working.
As to the airplane and most of the people, shred and melt/burn the aluminum to oxides and dump. Same the corpses. The hard bits, titanium and alloy steel, these require arc furnace…but go to oxide and dump. Probably at sea from a barge.
I do buy the idea of a possible defection en mass, and also that the Chinese and the Russians have a very good idea what actually happened.

Humanity and technology mesh nicely. People get enough food and medicines and warmth and the practical comforts, and they can believe and have time for spiritual affairs, and happy children. Inevitably the delusions meet the reality. There are many examples in which they simply become absurd contests. One of these was the so-called “9-11 attack”. It’s a focus.
