ParticipantIran has long insisted that they do no nuclear weapons research whatsoever. The enrichment shops are not weapons research, and yes, they’re mostly or all deep under the surface. That said, any physics lab is capable of weapons research, but all one needs is a library to do research…there are no nuclear secrets. Maybe the nazis blew up a bookshop. ;), maybe a college or even a junior high school. Or maybe nothing happened at all. Nazis lie as they breathe.

I have heard that the US does lots of training in the area of civil disorder control, and has done for years. It might be smart for the officers to check with the lawyers, but iirc, the US military has been often used “domestically”, since Shay’s Rebellion, at least.
