Just a thought about the orange clown both as an individual and figuratively as a cohort…let us assume the obvious, that he and the cohort are ignorant and ambitious….thus fated to fail in their ego-driven quests. Out of my depth here, and old-fashioned in terms, but it seems to me that this will lead to psychosis, something akin to what they used to call “transient stress psychosis” indistinguishable, iirc, from (another old time term) schizophrenia. “California Secretary of State Shirley Weber has endorsed the Calexit initiative, which calls for California to secede from the United States. With her permission, the initiative’s authors have begun collecting signatures.
In order for the initiative’s supporters to collect the necessary number of signatures, the ballot will ask whether California should secede from the United States and become a free and independent country.
If at least 50% of California’s registered voters participate in the vote and at least 55% of participants vote “yes,” it will constitute a “vote of no confidence in the United States of America” and “an expression of the will of the people of California” to become an independent state”
