No got? Welcome your poverty in the dark… These machines are almost all filled with dielectric insulating oil…if the oil leaks out while the machine is energized….ZAP! Sabotage is always possible, but they fail all by themselves, particularly when maintenance (cleaning of their guts and re-filling with clean oil) is “deferred” (or “pencil-whipped’, ie faked…which happens, I’ve seen “deferred” maintenance kill a nuclear station in 10 years!)

ParticipantYeah, I like Larry too…nicknamed him Gunner Johnson, which is an honorific in my mind…one of his activities is or was expert instructor in firearms, and I’ve seen some of his views in such matters….they match my own opinions, through I am much more conservative and old fashioned. I think we’re all feeling our way, Larry included, feeling our way to understanding WW3, its “shape”… Amarynth coined term [we are in the] “foothills” [of the war]. I’d say [we are in the] “skirmishing” [phase]…much the same meaning. In the Helmer interview above, which is quite long, many topics are raised…including the tanker war that’s well-begun already. Well I’ve been thinking… If an airplane flies through the beam and reflects radar that too “modulates” and if the airplane does not reflect radar it makes a “hole” in the sweep – a hole that’s detectable ahbetcha. Either way the airplane is detectable. Obviously big airplanes like the B-2 would detect better…I have no idea if the present software permits detecting airplanes, but it probably could, if it doesn’t, it will.
