They discuss Tomahawk as nuclear capable. Others have recently said that the types that could carry nuclear bombs no longer exist. I have no specific knowledge of these machines, but I am sure that the existing Tomahawks (or any other carrier, missile, even a Piper-Cub), can carry a modern nuclear bomb…the adaptations seem like fairly simply mechanical problems, and maybe some electronic jiggering.

What seems worth thinking about is the timing…why now? I get the sense that the release may be intended mostly to inform Russians, close a loop.
