re: europe won’t have a seat @ the table.
russia has repeatedly stated that the negotiations (if & when they occur) will be between america & russia, solely, w/o a european presence. while i understand the dismay of many europeans, america rules nato & the vassals within it & is/was the leader of the band. agreed britain has repeatedly connived to change the course of events but that in no way gifts it a seat @ the table, that was forfeited by deep sea divers in 404 & crimea, minsk, undersea pipelines, missile sallies into RF.
europe’s submission to america has been historic & humiliating. russia as the winner has every right to set the agenda. that europe doesn’t know this, & is just now realizing its loss of ‘face’ is surprising to no one other than europe. america’s taking on the responsibility for this fact is either hubris or submission to the victor.
