thank you, Mr.P, for Kandinsky!  viewing it takes us there, a place we hope to never leave; the miracle of a masterpiece, be it painting, music, theatre, poetry or prose is the art of delivering us to hallowed ground.

& “...destruction is what they do, increasing aesthetic & physical entropy“;  an indelible  descriptor, one which will accompany every walk through an avenue of cement towers where once stood a cathedral grove with a long view to the sea.

thank you for granny…her inspiration continues even today.

    uplifting africa

nkrumah was the first leader that caught my notice.   i was a kid, preoccupied with horses & little else.  the 2 room school was nestled inside of nowhere.  our teacher loved introducing us to the world outside & filled our classroom with pictures of nkrumah: his speeches, alongside maps & photographs of his country, the mystical faraway paradise called Ghana.  strangely i knew him long before i knew anything about sir john EH or mackenzie king.

i’m thrilled you also find them uplifting, truly the transformation sweeping africa is a miraculous, heavensent counterbalance to the horrific firestorm in west asia.

decades ago when i lived in nyny, i had a friend, jersey, that grew up in fred’s neighbourhood.  jersey’s best friend’s home was right next door to fred’s.  jersey spent his childhood in his friend’s back yard (it was big; jerryrigged basketball court, pool, & what passed for a tennis court), dealing with fred.  fred would jump up & down yelling, swearing @ them over the fence, through the bushes, threatening to call the police, pitching debris.   kids…then teenagers, ready to party, they’d routinely tell him to FO or just give him the finger & ignore him, o/c increasing the noise.

fred was a developer among other things, just like his father, he was also a pimp, loan shark, & wanna be mobster.  the kids, a fairly large pack, were an income mix, their parents included wage slaves, postal clerks, chief of police, teachers, politicians & real mobsters….  fred was an object of ridicule by all.

masterful collation, dear AHH.  i’m profoundly grateful i haven’t the skill set required to preside over the heinous choice between nuclear obliteration or genocide.  i can but marvel @ the provident courage of those souls guiding our axis of resistance.

many on many sites chastised russia for her abandonment of syria.   in short order these many castigated russia for keeping her bases.  dear God, i am so grateful that she has.  🕊️

i don’t believe city has lost.  alex says it has.  alex is one of the few to address the phenomenon of city, & i appreciate that.   while many discuss schism, upheaval & chaos, most only allude to city, that makes alex worthy of consideration.

alex views our current upheaval as a battle between agent orange & city.  i appreciate his read of the eagle’s entrails, they’re more helpful than most, yet i cannot believe orange is a renegade but simply another hired gun, an agent.  purchased years ago for such a time as this, when a crucial predestined battle has been lost, regardless, the war still rages, far from over.

china next.   yes, the game is in play.  having lost a watertight battle, city is moving on, hurriedly setting its knights & kings against each other, fighting amongst themselves for yet another invitation to joust another round.   china sea ahead.
