KeymasterHi AHH, that OSINT chart is questionable. Source .. a few but Taiwan MOD and Japan MOD – do not make me happy lol.
South – they are fighting floods at Yueyang, central China’s Hunan Province. But there is a lot of them perhaps some others are elsehwere.
East – usually is around Taiwan.
Yellow – No clue.
But China announces their exercises. The comments on that chart are just pushed too much you know .. pushed beyond what they are doing. Once China goes out in terms of the military, we will all know it. It is in any event so huge that it is hard to follow.
Xi Jinping signed a lot of commendations today.

KeymasterLet me leave this here. This is an interesting story from the South African white community. With the last election, there is some hope for this community and they all feel it.
The community is working together and their slogan is: ‘We will do it ourselves’. They fix their own roads, the one town now has their own fire station, they are building last I heard some small power stations and they do a lot of community outreach and specifically safety outreach. Remember, you may not donate to anything that is white. You may only donate to black causes. I have told about the approximately 300 pieces of racial legislation on the books, mostly new and designed to display some very weird restorative justice to people who were not even born during the apartheid years. People are legislated out of the workplace and the crime rate on white is much higher than the crime rate overall, which is horrendous already. This is after these white Africans in a referendum voted for change in the country many years ago and there was a Truth and Reconciliation process to work for better relations. There is always the story that capital is still in white hands and if you are white, you get accused of having ‘capital’ lol. After 30 years of freedom?
When I was there last, a good 12 years ago, my mom regularly donated to a seed bank. I wanted to take some seeds and go and make vegetable gardens at a nearby very poor squatter camp. I was told under no circumstances, as I would be killed wanting to do anything ‘while white’. It is a forgotten community and the podcast will tell you why.
The podcast makes a short but good overview.

KeymasterSaturday night at the music (or the movies)
OK, I had this horrendous experience. This state took everything, even computers and so on, but I have some back now, as they decided I am too salty for them to digest. Long story, luckily I knew some laws, made friends with their lawyer and now they are leaving me alone. So, computers came back. One has a screen problem and of course I don’t have another cable to test on another computer. I have not touched my husband’s computer which is still there in the corner, and when I feel strong, I’ll put it up and clean up. What also came back and I waited for it, is four backup disks – this contains almost all of our history for many many years. One disk had about aah .. easily 800 movies, selected, sorted, not too violent as I watched them with my son and he reacted to something too violent and so on. First the little cable would not plug in and I despaired – it felt as if the slots were broken after being forced. Then, I sat down with the phone cable, my tablet cable and another one that I found, and a new one (which I did not even know about) slipped in and I could open the backups. So, the big sort out has started but first I backed up my current computer and feel a whole lot better. There still is some work to do, some sort out, but oh man .. a good backup .. I feel fine!
You know what is missing? The disk with the movies. Some sneak thief took that one. This was 10 years worth of careful selection, music concerts, movies, documentaries, and so on. OK,
What are we playing tonight?

KeymasterWe have an Alliance of Sahel States (AES)

BREAKING! The presidents of Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso signed a charter on the creation of a confederation.
The primary objective of the 1st Summit of the Alliance of Sahel States (ASS, AES in French), involving the leaders of Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger, was to adopt a draft document for the creation of an AGS confederation, according to the Nigerian Press Agency (NAP).
The summit, held in Niamey, is chaired by Niger’s leader, Abdurahmane Tchiani. Presidents Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina Faso and Assimi Goita of Mali are also in attendance.
On Saturday, General Abdourahamane Tiani, the military leader of Niger, stated that the people of his country, along with those of Mali and Burkina Faso, have “irrevocably turned their backs” on the West African bloc, ECOWAS
The last colonists are now being pushed out …
The German armed forces will give up its airbase in Niger, which was used as a military transport hub, by August 31, as the sides failed to extend the agreement concerning the base, German media reported, citing the German Defense Ministry.
The talks broke down after the new Nigerien authorities had refused to grant German soldiers with immunity from prosecution, the NTV news outlet reported, citing a document the ministry had presented to the parliament.
Germany expects to withdraw its troops from the country by the end of August.
The German military has used the base in Niger’s capital, Niamey, since 2013 as a supply center for its armed forces in neighboring Mali, which were stationed there as part of a UN peacekeeping mission.
Nigerien authorities have also terminated military agreements with France and the United States, which led to the French and US forces’ withdrawal from the country.

KeymasterPossible breakthrough made in Gaza ceasefire deal: Reports – this is from AlMayadeen
https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/possible-breakthrough-made-in-gaza-ceasefire-deal–reports
The ceasefire talks in Gaza might be heading somewhere as intel suggests that the Israeli occupation agrees to proposals made by the Palestinian Resistance.
The Mossad announced that mediators Qatar and Egypt have conveyed Hamas’ updated response to the proposed hostage and ceasefire deal to the Israeli negotiation team, Israeli journalist Barak Ravid reported Wednesday adding that “Israel” was currently examining the response and would provide its answer to the mediators soon.
A senior Israeli official stated that the response from Hamas was constructive and could potentially pave the way for detailed negotiations on the remaining issues, Ravid added.
According to the Israeli journalist citing the official, although there has been important progress, significant challenges remain. He further noted that any detailed negotiations would be tough and lengthy, potentially taking several weeks to reach an agreement.
The Israeli negotiation team is expected to hold discussions over the next few days with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Security Minister Yoav Gallant to formulate a policy regarding Hamas’ response and said the policy might see the Israelis heading to Qatar or Egypt to enter more detailed discussions.
The Israeli official highlighted that Hamas’ updated response addresses key issues central to the dispute and the lack of a deal thus far.
Despite the progress, the official, according to Ravid, cautioned that there is still a substantial way to go before a final agreement can be reached.
Moreover, Ravid underlined that in the second phase of the deal, outlined and agreed to by Netanyahu and backed by US President Joe Biden, the Israeli occupation forces will be withdrawing from Gaza entirely, including from the Philadelphi axis.
Qatar suggested new ceasefire proposal: NYT
Qatar sent Tuesday new potential amendments to Hamas regarding the proposed hostage deal, according to senior officials from different countries involved in the negotiations, the New York Times reported.amarynth

KeymasterBrother Smoothie is so into his boats and weapons. We have elections in Venezuela and there be dragons! Many dragons with the oil discovered in contested waters, or water that became contested quickly when the oil was discovered – Essequibo region.
The sharks are circling there. Big white man-eating oil-drinking ones. So, waving a flag on some good ships with lovely lollipops is a very good thing there right at the moment and for the next 20 days – even less – just so that the message is given. It is a deterrence to the sharks. I want to tackle the myriad of issues there, but man, I get tired even thinking about it. My favorite journalist from Brazil, Brian Meir, has just departed Brazil to report from Venezuela and there are a few more that I know that will be there. There are also well-known election observers who have been doing that job in Venezuela for years. But we cannot figure out who is the cheese and who is the trap in the configuration.
Cuba radio? As they take out their brooms to sweep up we will be under it. But yes, I get it here – on the internet in this century lol: https://mytuner-radio.com/radio/country/cuba-stations – everybody in Cuba has an internet radio. We have a long sweep of overland travel so I bet it will be a tropical storm when it gets to us (not that these are not strong and dangerous as well – it may be one kilometer per hour windspeed less than a hurricane!). This is what they are forecasting locally today. And it is hinting at a correction – that will be good for us but bad for Cuba. Gads, I don’t trust these storms.
I spoke to two friends now and they are fine .. we are fine .. now to see if the storm is fine.

KeymasterThis 3 days warning is interesting and ominous.
Moments ago, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces posted a short statement: “3 days.”
Although the message is cryptic, developments in the field (and at sea) give us an idea regarding what this message may be about: Phase Five.
On May 3rd, 2024, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the beginning of the fourth phase of their operations. Although the announcement that the range of targeting had expanded to the Mediterranean caught the most attention, the true qualitative shift in Phase 4’s announcement was the move to target all ships of companies violating the ban on the ports of occupied Palestine. This, in addition to previous operations, led to the skyrocketing of insurance for ships from 1% of the ship’s value to 70% and the bankruptcy of the “Eilat” port.
Companies such as MAERSK and others have paid the well-documented price for repeatedly violating the ban, as the punishment extended to their entire fleet, from the Mediterranean to the Indian Ocean. The resistance shifted from targeting to sinking, from forcing a change of course to destruction.
So what is the meaning behind “3 days”?
Last week, Al-Akhbar reported that the Yemeni Armed Forces are preparing for the fifth phase of the battle, coinciding with the escalation of operations, including joint ones with the Iraqi Resistance. The operations have expanded in scope and pace, signaling the end of the current phase and the near transition to a new phase with new goals, different tactics, and more daring operations.Colonel Mujib Shamsan told Al-Akhbar that the Yemeni Armed Forces possess strategic weapons that have not yet been used in the battle. He considered that the first three phases were warning phases, while the fourth shocked America, forcing it into a “battle of necessity” after the blows of Yemen.
Yemen not only carried out the first anti-ship ballistic missile attack in history, was engaged in the first ever interception in space, and commandeered a zionist ship and its crew; Al-Aqsa Flood has given also it ample opportunities to develop and use new weapons: The Palestine ballistic missile, the Hatem-2 hypersonic missile, and the effective Toofan-1 and Toofan Al-Mudammer drone boats. Drones and missiles reach as far as Haifa and the Indian Ocean, making direct hits.
The locally-made Toofan-1 alone imposed a new equation in the battle, but it is part of a series (Toofan-2 and Toofan-3) that have not yet entered the battle. The Yemeni Armed Forces also possess long-range cruise missiles that can reach the Strait of Hormuz.
The clock ticks down for these three days as the enemy bites its nails. Will this mark the start of the fifth phase, a new dawn of unprecedented military capabilities, or a decisive blow that reshapes the region? Bab Al-Mandeb, aptly named “The Gate of Tears,” holds the world’s breath, as the sea conceals what is greater than what came before it. New weapons may rise to the surface, new goals and targets. In 72 hours, the answer will surface, potentially altering the course of the war as we know it.

Geez, I may be under a hurricane! How will I know? With the strike on Haifa (Haifa Port I think) things are really heating up. Can you guys imagine Israel just damn well losing on the battlefield? Just having to cry UNCLE!

KeymasterThey lie AHH.
But if there is anything wanting to change, Gaza will be shot to hell. In all the previous haircuts, while negotiating they shot more than ever before. Just trying to kill a few more before they are forced to stop.
Positive? I see very little positive. I see a civilization of Palestinians dead – that is what I see and I have such anger toward the ROW for allowing this. There is always something, but the good that I see, Hezbollah coming into its own, the world especially the youth waking up, the strength of the resistance, the Syrian world that is at least doing something — Russia did some severe shooting there as well.
I look for the civilizational good and I cannot find it. The last bleating for the Satanyahoo .. “Netanyahu: We are approaching the end of the phase of eliminating Hamas’ military capabilities, and we will continue to destroy its armed remnants”

KeymasterRamaphosa announces Cabinet with ministers from ANC, DA, IFP, PA, PAC, and FF+ –
There is some humor here. Where there was a ministerial post that went to another party than the ANC, the deputy appointed is ANC. If the deputy position was already filled, another deputy post was created for the ANC. Amazing what people will come up with.
The post that we are interested in, International Relations and Cooperation, now belongs to a fellow called Ronald Lamola. He was previously the Minister of Justice and Correctional Services. I know nothing about him.

KeymasterSouth Africa – I came across this old documentary by John Pilger (rip). Note the date 1998 – four years after the freedom election.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVwEHdDHs78
He compares a very rich enclave (Sandton I think) with a very poor almost squatter black community. This is a bit rich as this is common in Africa and just think of favelas in Brazil, think of India. Our world is not fair and not even the New South Africa could get free of poverty in their 30 years of rule. But hear what Nelson Mandela said himself – they made ‘accommodations’ with the west (that would be with the mine owners and filthy rich business owners). I’ve always known this. But to today, they blame the ordinary white South African walking the same streets for ‘owning all the wealth’.
Just as the Americans will never be forgiven for the slaughter of the American Indians and the zionist israelis will never be forgiven for the slaughter of the Palestinians, so the white South African will never be forgiven for the more or less 50 years of apartheid. The ANC government (now a GNU) is race-mad. The current GNU (government of national unity) is one hell of an experiment and they’ve already started beating one another up in parliamentary circles. https://www.dailymaverick.co.za/article/2024-06-28-effs-marshall-dlamini-sentenced-for-assaulting-constable-in-parliament-he-remains-an-mp/ (paper more to the right side but those descriptors do not make sense these days).
The expectation is that they may be able to seat a parliament after this weekend. The proportional representation of the two biggest parties has somehow disappeared and now what is left of the ANC wants to give the DA (second in the elections) fewer government seats and if that does not work, they will try to invite the very small parties to have a seat each.
In the meantime, “New faces, old scandals: The familiar staleness of South Africa’s 2024 National Assembly” https://mg.co.za/editorial/2024-06-28-new-faces-old-scandals-the-familiar-staleness-of-south-africas-2024-national-assembly/ (paper more to the left).
Race Madness … there are reasons why the ANC lost their majority badly during the elections. One can be thankful for small mercies and say it looks a lot worse in Kenya. Why does the Kenyan violence persist? That is a new essay.

Pilger has some pieces about the mines which are not in white South African hands but in white British and US hands. The ordinary white South African these days would be a poorer person, struggling to make a living, like the rest of the country. The difference is that they are legislated out of the workplace (300 race-based laws). They cannot even have a small business because they have to have a black partner.
As Pilger says, nothing much has changed apartheid-wise. What he does not say is that it was only flipped from one color to another. The black folks still sing .. Kill the Farmer, Kill the Boer. https://x.com/ConCaracal/status/1806627046233166046
I do not know what the state was of white farm murders at the time the documentary was made. Currently, it is out of control.
Two more issues not in the documentary, kinda updated:
– the impoverished white population living in shanty towns or squatter camps is approaching 700,000 by some of the highest counts I saw. Of course, that number is highly contested. Others say there are only a few thousand. With my eyes there are many more than a few thousand as I traveled from the North to the South, showing my children the country, just before the turn of the century. There are 4 to 5 million whites still left in South Africa and they are not leaving. There is no European right of return and most do not even know where in Europe they came from except perhaps by last name traced back throughout marriages. They are Africans – they integrated. The jews have long since left and so have most of the Brits.
– the Marikana murders, where the police opened fire directly into protesting mine workers – Cyril Rampahosa was a director at this mine. This was in 2012 – 18 years after apartheid was abolished.
https://www.sahistory.org.za/article/marikana-massacre-16-august-2012
I enjoyed the Pilger documentary although there is a lot that I can take issue with. Let’s see if these folks can come up with a functioning state apparatus where they don’t beat one another up.
