[someone needs to teach Orange some basic math. What was the 1941 USSR population, how far Nazis reached on land, and why 60M is impossible. And secondly, the nature of bluffing and blustering, and how it affects the civilizational-states, or all with a spine]

You’re civilized dealing with the uncivilized. He needs a kick in the teeth.

I would wait for a little confirmation on that one. You know what Trump just said on his Truth Social .. Check it out

“I’m not looking to hurt Russia. I love the Russian people, and always had a very good relationship with President Putin – and this despite the Radical Left’s Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX. We must never forget that Russia helped us win the Second World War, losing almost 60,000,000 lives in the process. All of that being said, I’m going to do Russia, whose Economy is failing, and President Putin, a very big FAVOR. Settle now, and STOP this ridiculous War! IT’S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE. If we don’t make a “deal,” and soon, I have no other choice but to put high levels of Taxes, Tariffs, and Sanctions on anything being sold by Russia to the United States, and various other participating countries. Let’s get this war, which never would have started if I were President, over with! We can do it the easy way, or the hard way – and the easy way is always better. It’s time to “MAKE A DEAL.” NO MORE LIVES SHOULD BE LOST!!!”

Bend over ’cause I want to kick you! Out of the purest love of course. And then, if you don’t that, I’m gonna try and kick you for real. (And historically I’m an idiot). Hahaaa ….

I see AHH just posted it up.

The phones have not stopped beeping .. warnings for Mexicans (legal and illegal) in the US telling them what to do .. action at all the Mexican consulates in the US, major newspaper writeups saying Donald Trump’s ‘decretos’ affect Mexico and they won’t have it.

The last time he threatened Mexico in his first administration things went nuts .. There was a full boycott overnight on companies like Amazon and any other American chain or coffee shop or store. I’d never seen such mobilization .. Pictures on which Mexican alternatives to use and why and masses of information. It went so crazy that eventually old rich man here Carlos Slim made a speech begging folks to go back to the chains and big box stores. We had that downloadable phone ditty .. Fuck Trump .. ding dong and it was ringing everywhere, and people would roll around laughing. They could not get enough of it. The piñatas (big old balloons with candy in for fiestas that you hang up and beat until the candy falls out) in Trump’s form – beating him to pulp. It was crazy. These folks can mobilize on the turn. You know the next hurricane is going to run in over the Gulf of America, and not the Gulf of Mexico.

Panama’s president responds to President Trump’s claim to take control of the Panama Canal:

“El Canal es y seguirá siendo de Panamá”

“The Panama Canal is and will continue to be Panama’s. Its administration will continue to be under Panamanian control with respect to its permanent neutrality. There is no presence of any nation in the world that interferes with our administration,” says the president.

I’ve updated some on the thread – already one border crossing closed – El Paso. https://sovereignista.com/2025/01/20/revival-of-empire-fortress-america-key-takeaways-from-us-president-elect-donald-trumps-pre-inauguration-speech/

Wow, I’ve just gone to read one paper. It is sharp – Trump is going to have problems down here. “Donald J. Trump was sworn in as the 47th president of the united States by the chief justice of the Supreme Court in a show driven by the mogul and star of entertainment to project himself as the president-elect by God, to consolidate their power and usher in what he calls a “revolution of common sense” whose first steps are to seal and militarize the border with Mexico, retake control of the Panama Canal, and to evaluate which tariffs will be applied in the near future..”

The article carries on describing the scene and I cannot even tell you how sharp the Spanish is. They end with Leonard Peltier, free from jail but in house arrest, that should have been there in Trump’s stead.

AHH, do we have anything formal for this?  “Hezbollah is expected to be part of the future Lebanese government and to have its ministers.”

    OK, I’ll answer a few questions ..

I see my comments here as perfectly valid,

OK, I see it as perfectly valid for you to seek answers.  Don’t ask me.  I am not an arbiter here, lol.

✓What is the evidence that convinces us it is true?

You need to seek that out but find out what truth is first.

✓Or we can notice that every philosophy or ideology, or proposed truth sets up a pattern to follow.

Far as I know, we are not dealing with ideology or philosphy here.  We are dealing with a person’s findings in his process of search.

✓Finally, who are the followers and disciples of this teaching?

    Yikes, I don’t know.

    General statements:

We talk easily about consciousness or our consciousness. We are actually talking about awareness. Consciousness is something different.

    Is awareness a learned trait?

In my view it is a remembered trait and then something that is practiced.

We all have our own truth.

Those are opinions. Truth has a universal aspect, and I dare say few of us have encountered it. Human beings walk on two legs, yeah? Universal, yeah? Except for those who cannot walk – not so universal.

Plants grow with water, sunlight, correct soil and climate for the specific plant .  Universal yeah?  Sure.

Animals – quite a long way further Percival talks about connection with nature and that includes animals and he mentions that as well.  Animals are of course conscious, but perhaps not conscious of being conscious.  Here this book works with human people.

Does this book have pitfalls?  What a question.  Pitfalls are within oneself.  One reads, accepts, rejects.  So that is another thing that I picked up out of all this reading, and that is to be scrupulously and hygienically aware of words that we use.  This stuff needs discipline.  We use soul for example and that indicates usually a rise of an emotional good feeling about something – you know what I mean – something that you embrace because it feels pure and good and right.  But is that soul?  In Hinduism for example soul is Atman, a part of Brahman, the soul of god.  So, if one reads a new work, one considers these things.

Finally, here is a bicycle. You can take it, disassemble it, repaint it with glitter paint, put racing stripes on it, polish it up, put new tires on it, set the height perfect, and put a basket on it, ask a million questions on how to and what it feels like to ride,  but if you don’t get on that bicycle and ride it, and fall, and get up and ride it and fall, and by the third time stagger on it a bit until you get it, you will never know what it is to ride a bike.

    Cheers

Good heavens, what a little slip of a country. Must admit, I know nothing about Togo. I really did not even know it existed any longer. I remember Togoland back in the mists of history.

Nico, let me be straight. You don’t understand here what Percival means by consciousness. Consciousness does not move, it does not act, it does not do. Refer page 25 and 26 ..

You, through the triune (thinker, doer and knower functions) become more conscious of consciousness. That is the part that moves. It is you becoming conscious – it is not your consciousness doing a damn thing. Consciousness Is. It does not think, do or know.

And the arrival in the body – it is very old spiritual knowledge that there is a 3day cycle .. once a baby is born, it takes 3 days before the baby becomes conscious of consciousness. And then on death, it is 3 days before the organism leaves the earth, into the bardo or wherever. We can always compare with old spiritual knowledge and this one is easy to compare – the 3 days of Christ being in the grave. (I’m not talking actuality because I don’t know what the meanings were of those things in their times, but there are hints for us). There is also the 3 days of darkness in the scriptures and the 3 day principle is actually called The Divine Mystery.

    Take another look at consciousness.

I would like to put this down here so people can understand the Afrikaner community in South Africa. This is also how they are bootstrapping and building themselves up again. They are not shy to point out their faults, but they do say, and I know this is true, that long before apartheid fell, the community understood that it must be done away with. They say their biggest mistake was to become state-focused instead of freedom-focused. These folks are socialist in their actions, but they consider that as a democratic system. One day they will get it. The hatred for socialism and communism come from what was done via the USSR and China to an extent. Bear in mind they live under a non-friendly state, and as they are learning now, their previous state absorbed them. Currently, they are ‘we must do it ourselves’, and that is what they are doing. Plucky people.

Those who think the South African apartheid had only an effect on black people are very wrong. It deeply hurt those that were of the system as well. The speaker explains that the period of statism deprived them of any of the cultural and social bonds and organizations that bound them together as people because the state absorbed everything. A bad state is probably worse than most things.

Anyway, for one Saturday night at the movies ..

Hi DestinationUnknown, I was pretty consumed with the cease-fire the past few days and did not see that you had commented.

I warned from the beginning that this is not for everyone. So, I would be willing to discuss the work, not someone else’s philosophy, using the work only as a platform. That is fine, but I have to manage my resources very carefully.

If it is not for you, then this discussion is meaningless and let us agree to let it go with no rancour. There will be another one in future.

    Cheers for now.

Mexico is not caving.  Bear in mind Blood Meridian, the channel, overstates because they are like others damn angry at the US adventures in the LAC.  They are good for news, but not good for strategy.  Scheinbaum will paint Trump’s big mouth with honey for as long as it takes but they are tightening up.  For example, just recently, they told the US embassy that they may not at all contact Mexican companies or Mexican governmental agencies directly.  (Of course, these cretins walked in just wherever they wanted to).  The US Embassy staff are now instructed to work through the Department of Trade or Commerce, or whatever the Mexican equivalent is.

The idea is to nearshore more, i.e., Chinese manufacturers, of which there are many, but to agree that they will buy more local Mexican products.  Currently, they provide many jobs for Mexicans.  They want China not only to sell but also to buy locally and, in this way, increase local content.  That will support local trade, but will also not disturb the free trade agreement – US-Canada-Mexico.  AliExpress, for example, has a big e-commerce distribution warehouse in Mexico, and Mexicans buy from there.   For Mexico, this is a complete rework of their trade relationships, onshore and offshore.  They are combining Federal Power with Local Independent Business in negotiations (following a Chinese blueprint).

Here is but one article about what Scheinbaum and her economists are doing. (It has a Western brush there at the end.) Read the words of Ebrard—he has a wealth of experience and is now leading the Department of Commerce.   Scheinbaum is setting up a local initiative under her own leadership specifically devoted to this change.

    https://mexicobusiness.news/trade-and-investment/news/mexico-aims-reduce-dependence-chinese-imports

Bear in mind also that Scheinbaum has an approval rating in Mexico that rivals that of Putin in Russia.

Supposed to be a leaked copy of the agreement as it stands now.  It is not signed yet.  The source is Middle East Spectator.

Full details (allegedly) of the upcoming ceasefire agreement in Gaza:

    ⚠️ PHASE 1 (42 DAYS):

    1. Temporary Suspension of Hostilities:

    – A temporary cessation of military operations by both sides.

    – Israeli forces will withdraw from populated areas in Gaza to a zone along the border, including Wadi Gaza (Netzarim Axis and Kuwait Square).

    2. Air Activity Restrictions:

    – A temporary suspension of military and reconnaissance air operations in Gaza for 10 hours daily.

    – Extended to 12 hours on days when hostages and prisoners are released.

    3. Return of Displaced Persons and Military Withdrawals:

Day 7: Following the release of seven Palestinian prisoners, Israeli forces will withdraw entirely from Al-Rashid Street eastward to Salah Al-Din Street, dismantling all military positions. Displaced persons will return to their homes without weapons, and humanitarian aid will flow freely through Al-Rashid Street from the first day.

Day 22: Israeli forces will withdraw from central Gaza (Netzarim Axis and Kuwait Square) to areas closer to the border, dismantling military positions. Displaced persons will continue returning to their homes across Gaza, and freedom of movement for residents will persist.

    4. Humanitarian Aid:

    – From the first day, significant amounts of humanitarian aid, relief supplies, and fuel will enter Gaza (600 trucks daily, including 50 fuel trucks). This includes fuel for electricity generation, trade, rubble removal, and operating hospitals, clinics, and bakeries.

    5. Hostage and Prisoner Exchange:

    – Hamas will release 33 Israeli hostages (alive or deceased), including women, children under 19, elderly individuals over 50, and injured or sick civilians.

    – For each Israeli released, Israel will release 30 Palestinian minors or women.

    – For each Israeli female soldier released, Israel will release 50 Palestinian prisoners.

    6. Release Schedule:

Day 1: Hamas releases three Israeli civilian hostages.

Day 7: Hamas releases four additional Israeli civilians.

    – Every seven days, three more Israeli hostages will be released, prioritizing women.

    – By the sixth week, Hamas will release all hostages included in this phase, and Israel will release a corresponding number of Palestinian prisoners.

    – Hamas will provide information on the number of hostages to be released by Day 7.

    7. Re-Arrested Prisoners and Exiled Individuals:

    – By Week 6, Israel will release 47 Palestinians re-arrested after the 2011 exchange deal. If the number of live hostages does not reach 33, deceased hostages will be included in the count.

    – Israel will release all Palestinian women and children under 19 detained since October 7, 2023.

    8. Conditions:

    – Compliance with the agreement, including halting military operations, Israeli troop withdrawals, and humanitarian aid, will determine the continuation of exchanges.

    – Released Palestinian prisoners cannot be re-arrested for the same charges or forced to sign release conditions.

    ⚠️ PHASE 2 (42 DAYS):

    9. Negotiations for Phase 2:

    – Indirect negotiations will begin by Day 16 to define the terms of Phase 2, including the release of soldiers and other prisoners.

    – Agreement must be finalized by Week 5.

    10. Transition to Sustainable Calm:

    – A permanent ceasefire will take effect before further prisoner exchanges, including the release of all Israeli soldiers and civilians in return for an agreed number of Palestinian prisoners.

    – Israeli forces will fully withdraw from Gaza.

    ⚠️ PHASE 3 (42 DAYS):

    11. Final Exchanges and Infrastructure Rebuilding:

    – Both sides will exchange bodies of deceased individuals once identified.

    – A comprehensive Gaza reconstruction plan will be implemented over 3-5 years, including rebuilding homes, infrastructure, and compensating affected individuals. Egypt, Qatar, and the UN will oversee this process.

    12. Freedom of Movement and Trade:

    – Border crossings will open to allow free movement of goods and people.
