    Certainly, if I were an irrational human being, devoid of feelings, without principles, and unconcerned with right and wrong, good and evil, I would most certainly choose the side of those with more power, wealth, weapons, and soldiers.

    But our battle with Israel now is not to defeat it, but rather to prevent Israel from turning us into empty bodies panting after money and desires. It is to prevent Israel from frightening humanity from choosing to do the right thing. It is to prevent Israel from implanting in people’s hearts the notion that they are gods who do whatever they want, whenever they want, wherever they want, as if it were a natural disaster that we must only avoid and repair any damage caused by it.

    Therefore, we Yemenis have chosen to fight this battle against Israel, America, Britain,and their agents not because we see ourselves as stronger than them, but because we do not want our children to grow up believing that Israel does whatever it wants to them and others

    I believe that this battle will be very difficult for us and that sacrifice is inevitable in the midst of this battle. Perhaps my house will be bombed, perhaps I will lose everything material. I might be martyred or die before seeing the final result. However, I will choose to fight because if I choose not to fight, I will be sacrificing what is most precious, most valuable, and most important, something that can not be replaced or recovered.
