Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif declared that his country had entered a state of “open war” with Afghanistan.  https://www.rt.com/news/633132-pakistan-and-afghanistan-are-at-war/

🔹🔹🔹🔹

A note for the heart, spirit and soul.  Folks are generally in despair because of empire’s many efforts in many places to win the world as their oyster.  Don’t fall into despair .. Watch the trend.  It is a time of facades.  Many of the many empirical efforts fail, but because they own the media, they are cloaked in an imperial cloak as wins.  A friend says this is Kafkaesque and it is.  We are in a time of senseless, disorienting, often menacing complexity.  This is on my writing list for this weekend – to tease out the real trend.  Amdrei Martyanov has a writing this morning on Russian ice-breakers hauling Finnish boats out of the ice.  https://smoothiex12.blogspot.com/. It is better than fighting.

Wars for all the world

🔹Russian Defense Ministry on progress of special military operation as of 21–27 February 2026

❗️In response to terrorist attacks launched by Ukraine against civilian objects in the territory of the Russian Federation, from 21 to 27 February, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out two massive and six group strikes, which hit enterprises of the Ukrainian defence industry, energy, fuel and transport infrastructure facilities used for the interests of the AFU, production, storage, preparation and launch sites of attack unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries.

The Ukraine war is now a perpetual and ongoing war.  It is also 4 years old. This war is not meant to end any time soon. Good commentary is invited on the fact that Ukraine is literally lying dead in the mud, but the war continues. By all commentary from the ‘Coalition of the Willing’, it will continue until they reach their objective by any means, even the unspeakable. Their objective is war on Russia. The stream of coalition of the willing members going to China, which we think is economics, has a subtext to probe how malleable China is to take one side or the other. In these days of multi-polarity, the heaving sides of our world are attempting to harvest whole countries for their side.

What is called negotiations on this front are pretexts for implementation of imperial objectives,  This empire presents itself as innocent brokers of the maligned word, peace.  They do not seek peace.  They seek abject capitulation.

🔹The other war against the original inhabitants, the one in West Asia, previously the Middle East and now being called Greater Israel, is following the same trajectory of a growing and forever war. Iran is on the chopping board as we all know, with Bibi Netanyahu having announced the next victim which is Turkey in his eyes.

🔹The small part of the reliable detail from the Iran negotiations yesterday, is:

Oman’s FM: Iran-US talks in Geneva had “significant progress” today. Technical talks will continue next week in Vienna.

Meanwhile Axios reports that Kushner and Witkoff were “disappointed” by today’s talks.

Iran’s FM, Araghchi: This round was the most serious and longest round of negotiations. We made good progress and talked about the elements of a nuclear agreement and lifting sanctions more in depth.

🔹These are not negotiations. They are a set of demands from the collective west and coercion is the weapon of choice for today. Brian Berletic states it clearly again: “Again, these are not negotiations – this is a US exercise of perception management before a pre-determined war of aggression that was always going to take place as soon as US military preparations are complete. Perhaps Iran thinks it is buying time – but negotiating with the US which has no right or legitimate reason to be making demands of Iran in the first place only legitimizes Washington’s illegal interference and equally illegal threats of military aggression. ”

The intrepid at the Hearty Salon provides a cornucopia of detail and for that, my deep appreciation!

This small section on Wars for all the World does not even include the hot areas in Africa, where the same methodologies are playing out. They want it all and they want it now. Perhaps they’ve bought Modi. Modi’s Israel visit is sparking opposition and domestic backlash for himself·  What we see is not what we get, and IRGC drones are now flying at low altitude over the border area between Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan to monitor the movements of both sides following the ongoing clashes between the two countries.  This may end up being a further extension of the Wars for all the World.

🔹Let’s get the framing right one more time:

The US and those that it invites to be their allies, is still seeking full primacy, on all levels, across all spheres, all domains, across all civil society, and right across the planet, its lands, its waters, its oceans, and its skies. No alternative analysis is remotely possible. Henceforth and for the foreseeable future, in terms of geopolitical affairs across the Planet, this is the only framing that makes sense.

🔹Adding the economics into the framing via Prof. Wolff:

‘Economically, it’s unviable to produce in the US and hope to sell abroad… Corporate giants will evade it, deny it, pretend to be doing it’.

The Wars for all the World is now the primary business of the US and collective west.  They have no other.  Gunboat diplomacy is now dead, as the gunboats are threatened to be full-out kinetic action.

🔴 Iranian FM talking to Media after third round of Iran-US talks concludes

🔺 Iranian FM: We got closer to shared understanding on some key issues

🔹🔹🔹🔹

There are contradictory reports from the US-Iran negotiations, so., we will wait.  What seems to be accurate is that they broke for a few hours in order to take instructions from the respective governments and will get together again in an hour or two.  That seems to be positive.  There is much noise from mainly western sources.  It is hard to see at the moment what is simply propaganda and what is not.   Do ignore media for now.

China has voiced the country’s support for Iran in safeguarding its national stability and “legitimate rights and interests,” while calling for restraint and peaceful resolution of disputes amid US military threats.

Likewise, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Moscow sees the constant threats against Iran, as well as the irresponsible escalation of regional tensions by the United States.  “We see constant threats against Tehran and saber-rattling, intimidation, and Washington’s irresponsible escalation of regional tensions,” Zakharova said during a briefing.  Moscow and Tehran are developing mutually beneficial cooperation, despite Washington’s escalation of regional tensions, the Russian spokesperson added.

Larry Johnson notes:  “By noon eastern time on Thursday we will likely know whether or not Donald Trump will sign off on an order to attack Iran. Why noon? That is 6pm in Geneva, Switzerland, where Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner is holding indirect talks with representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran. If the two sides emerge from the meeting speaking in positive terms about a tentative agreement, then it is unlikely that Trump will risk starting a war that is likely to escalate into a regional conflagration. Alternatively, if the US side announces — either directly or through selected leaks to the corporate media — that Iran is intransigent and is refusing to compromise, the stage is set for the US and/or Israel launching the long awaited attack.”

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Periol has a superb collection of wide ranging news including a positive sounding newly developed clean browser.  All of the US-Iran negotiation news available up to now is there.  Don’t miss it.  Just remember we don’t know what is true on the US-Iran dossier.   Iran may be playing games although I don’t think so, but the rest of that conversation may be highly questionable given the negotiators (Witkoff, Kushner – both intrepid wall kissers).  IAEA chief Rafael Grossi has joined the indirect talks between the US and Iran and is serving as a technical observer of the negotiations.  It would be a stretch to call him independent.  Deception runs high in these circles.    https://sovereignista.com/globalsouthforum/topic/chronicles-of-the-apocalypse-26-feb-2026/

The Cuba incident:  What we know is that a fast boat with 10 Cuban sounding names entered Cuban waters and came to within a few kilometers of the coast.  Cuban forces intercepted and people on the fast boat fired on the Cuban Coast Guard.  The Cuban Coast Guard fired in return, killed four, six were injured and are in custody.  The US State denies that this boat and this incursion event was planned and executed by the US.  The Cuban ministry said that when the Coast Guard vessel approached a Florida-registered speedboat to identify passengers, “shots were fired from the ship,” wounding the captain of the Cuban ship.  The Attorney General of Florida announced the beginning of an investigation into the incident.

All those detained from the boat off the coast of Cuba are Cubans living in the United States, one of the dead is also a Cuban, the Cuban Interior Ministry said. The detainees confessed to terrorist intentions.

Maria Zakharova commented to TASS. The incident with the catamaran off the coast of Cuba is an “aggressive provocation by the US” aimed at escalating the situation and triggering a conflict.

Boris Johnson is in Kiev again — ‘for 4th anniversary of Russia’s “full-scale invasion”. This man binned the early 2022 peace accord agreed on by Russia & Ukraine

The US has just blocked the Venezuelan gov from paying Maduro’s legal fees.

Treasury revoked authorization ‘hours after approving it’ — defense attorney Barry Pollack

Iran has formally lodged a protest with the Netherlands after a Dutch diplomat was caught attempting to smuggle prohibited items into the country. The protest was conveyed to Dutch a ambassador in Tehran, following the diplomat’s unlawful action. (He had a big bag full of perfectly and neatly stacked Starlink terminals.)

Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi has left Tehran for Geneva to take part in the third round of indirect nuclear negotiations with the United States on Thursday.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Trump’s Greatest Hits on The Trump Hit Parade played last night for what is reported to have been an hour and 45 long. Bibi Netanyahu also played his greatest hits on the same day at the AIPEC summit, in order to catch any stray rays and hey presto, he announced his next main enemy, which is Turkey.

The Hit Parade  as a whole is a return to the stump for the mid-term elections, even using the same language.  “I killed Suleimani” for example.  If you want to report on the Trump’s Greatest Hits, feel free to comment. I have only two items that cannot be swallowed down and perhaps these are more personal.

The first is the boast that ‘nobody want to go fishing any longer in the Caribbean’. It is not only Cuba that is being deprived of life, but a whole segment of an important industry, fishing. And this simple fact deprives fishermen of life and sustenance for themselves and families. Now we have to listen to a callous boast of how this industry has been destroyed. No, it is not a small thing.

The second is the consistent lying about Iran that ‘won’t say the magic words’. Those magic words in the life and times of Trump’s hit parade are: “We are in negotiations with them. They want to make a deal, but we haven’t heard those secret words: “We will never have a nuclear weapon.” Trump plows with Bibi Netanyahu’s oxen.  Iran confirms that on a daily basis and in their laws there is a fatwa against weapons of mass destruction. They have said a million times across the span of 30 years or so, that they will not create a nuclear weapon. Slowly, as people are now beginning to know this,  the rhetoric is injected with: ‘Iran is building missiles that can reach the United States’.  Iran may be the enemy chosen to run the mid-terms election cycle on but then again, they have so many enemies.

An then what I think is a funny.  His briefiers and handlers successfully made
Trump believe this lie:  “Iran killed 30,000 protesters.”   Nobody can tell me Trump is not an idiot.  But then again, perhaps he does not care what the facts are.  Remember:

A month after the US shot down Iran Air Flight 665, killing 290 passengers, George H.W. Bush proudly declared:  “I’ll never apologize for the United States, I don’t care what the facts are.”

Israeli Media: Renewed anti-regime protests enter their fourth day in Tehran.  (Note, Israeli Media)

🔹🔹🔹🔹

We have a BoP website.  The BoP is as productive as the Epstein files as it changes its makeup as we go.  I don’t want to give it a link but you can find it at boardofpeace.org.  We now have:

  • Board of Peace
  • Executive Board
  • Gaza Executive Board
  • Gaza OHR

Who is paying?  These countries pledged to the United Nations of Trump:

This is but one of many such events daily now in the occupied territories, but we have a BoP, the greatest thing since sliced bread.

IMG_5067

This is the BoP at work:  “The United States Embassy in the occupied Al-Quds will begin providing on-site consular services to Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank for the first time, starting in Efrat, with plans to expand to Beitar Illit and Ramallah.  The move follows comments by US Ambassador Mike Huckabee suggesting parts of the territory should be treated as Israeli, drawing criticism as a break from longstanding US policy on the occupied West Bank.  US and Israeli policies are advancing a de facto annexation of the occupied West Bank.”

Here is the explanation of the Featured Image:  https://t.me/thecradlemedia/51962

Are we witnessing the start of the obliteration of Trump?

I’m asking in the overall sense, and not just because the USS Gerald R. Ford is requesting emergency docking facilities in Greece to try and do something with its pooping system that is flooding the world’s largest warship literally shooting feces out of the toilets into the air. Commissioned in 2017. it is a 13 billion dollar pooping machine – 4,500 sailors on that ship.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

There is too much talk of nuclear strikes.

The most serious news is that Britain and France are actively working on providing Kiev with nuclear weapons and delivery systems, Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) stated.

➡ The plan involves the covert transfer of European components, equipment, and nuclear-related technologies to Ukraine.
➡ One option under consideration is the French TN75 compact warhead from the M51.1 submarine-launched ballistic missile.
➡ The main goal is to make it appear that any nuclear capability acquired by Kiev is the result of its own development.

According to the SVR, London and Paris understand that this would constitute a gross violation of international law, primarily the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. However, they believe Ukraine needs a “wunderwaffe” — potentially even a so-called “dirty bomb” — to strengthen its position in negotiations and avoid defeat. Britain and France realize that there are no chances of achieving victory over Russia through the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service reported.  Russia has sent statements through diplomatic channels to the European Parliament, UN, IAEA, and Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.  Again, it was a deliberate act to let the new START treaty lapse.  For this, Trump is directly in the cross-hairs as the biggest idiot of our times.

Senator Lindsey Graham, (OK we know he is insane but nuclear strikes are still being advertised as a normal choice), supports extreme violence in Gaza and even raised the possibility of using nuclear weapons.

“The killing of children and women in Gaza is justified, and I allow the possibility of using nuclear weapons against the inhabitants of Palestine.”

So we know there is damage control going on for Huckabee’s statements (see below), but where is the damage control for this?  The world of the west is treating the use of nukes as if it is a real option.  This is chilling!

No, there is no peace in Gaza and Israeli flags are going up in the West Bank which is now called Judea and Samaria.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Senior Trump administration officials have begun calling Arab governments to contain the fallout from Ambassador Mike Huckabee’s controversial Tucker Carlson interview, amid fears the remarks could undermine US regional plans and inflame tensions.

Fact is, this horse has left the stable and no amount of sweet talk or blaming Tucker Carlson for ‘editing’ will get the horse back in.  Despite the abject vassal state of these governments, the harm is done and strange, but we can for one time thank Tucker Carlson for it.  It is not only the Arab states that are livid, it is also the Islamic world as a whole.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Iran is still highest on the list of live issues with the US and Netanyahu bellowing threats faster than bullet trains. Last evening some of the Israeli reporters slept in their studios to be ready. I don’t know what for – they are prohibited from reporting anything real anyway.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Today China gets back to work. The last Foreign Ministry statement was on the 13th of Feb and then they went for their holiday.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Mexico is trending but there is very limited violent episodes now. Balance is being restored, despite everyone thinking that the whole of Mexico is in a cartel war. Cartel violence happens in Mexico and there will be flare-ups in the next days. It is usually fierce and of short duration. ‘El Yogurt’ has apparently taken the leadership of the leaderless cartel. The head of the military forces made a speech yesterday thanking everyone after the arrests and deaths of most of the previous cartel leaders. He choked up when he announced the deaths and for a long moment he could not speak. It was not performative.  Periol has the clips on this Chronicles of the Apocalypse:  https://sovereignista.com/globalsouthforum/topic/chronicles-of-the-apocalypse-24-feb-2026/

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Venezuela has formally again petitioned the United Nations for the immediate release of President Nicolas Maduro, following his abduction by US forces in an early January operation that Caracas slammed as “illegal.” No, Venezuela has not caved but they have to work with the US in the oil business in order not to get killed. The US oil majors are still not too keen to get involved. The rest of the country continues with its own business. An update is scheduled.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Today I have some personal business to attend to. Feel free to comment to your heart’s content and do go and take a look at the cornucopia in the Hearty Salon. If a post gets stuck in moderation for some or other reason, it will have to wait.

Putin on Defender of the Fatherland Day.

Greetings (http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/79210)

We will continue large-scale work to strengthen the Army and Navy with due regard to international developments, building on the combat experience gained during the special military operation, relying on the powerful capabilities of our industry, science, and industrial and high-tech companies.

The development of the nuclear triad, which guarantees Russia’s security and enables us to effectively ensure strategic deterrence and balance of power in the world, remains our unconditional priority.

We will continue to enhance the quality and the potential of all other branches and services of the Armed Forces, improve their combat readiness and mobility, their ability to operate in any, including the most difficult, conditions. And, of course, we will speed up the development of advanced systems for the Armed Forces.

I am confident that this equipment will always be in reliable hands, which is the most important thing. Our soldiers and officers – the pillar and support of the state and society – are true patriots and people of special breed and unbending will.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Iran We may be having a moment of respite, or the US will again announce talks and attack anyway. Timing pressures are mounting: Tomorrow night is Trump’s State of the Union Address, Soon is the World Cup Soccer, Holding a major part of the US military in a ready state is very expensive, The sailors on the aboard USS Gerald R. Ford are just about in a state of mutiny because they have not had their shore leave and toilets are a problem.

Despite this all, Israel will not cease pressure on the US. A strike on Iran will happen, all things being equal.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has welcomed an “encouraging” signal in indirect talks with the United States about Tehran’s peaceful nuclear program while expressing the country’s readiness for “any potential scenario.”

🔹🔹🔹🔹

This is from RT Channel (it may need a sprinkle of salt)

EXCLUSIVE: US could assign Iran strike mission to ISRAEL — military source to RT’s Tehran bureau chief

Washington ‘seeking to shift political and military costs of direct action off its own shoulders’

US would ‘aim to refrain from being cast as ‘initiator of war’ while serving as effective offensive and defensive backer for Israel’

‘Iran views ANY military action by Netanyahu as coordinated with political will of Trump’

🔹🔹🔹🔹

On the face of it and we may see material changes!

📈 Trump’s tariffs math: Allies lose, Global South wins

The new 15% global tariff flips the board on US trade policy—and the irony is brutal.

📹 The winners: China and Brazil got a better deal than before. They were facing 25–50% under IEEPA.

💵 The losers: UK, EU, Japan get hit hardest, from ~10% to 15%.

“The U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency said it will halt collections of tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act at 12:01 a.m. EST (0501 GMT) on Tuesday,” – Reuters.

China’s MOFCOM urges US to revoke unilateral tariffs as US Supreme Court rules duties unlawful.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Trump is feisty about his tariffs. As if the rest of the world is going to play with him in ignoring his Supreme Court. The neo-Caligula Supreme Leader wants you to just do what he says.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Scott Ritter reports on an intermediate range missile, ‘Flamingo’, striking Russia’s Votkinsk Machine Building Plant. Scott generally overstates so read carefully. He does know missiles of course. I’m posting this because of Mr.Putin’s statement on priority development of Russia’s nuclear triad above, and also, because of the touchpoint with Prof. Karaganov’s work.

He says: “This attack is as close to an act of war by both the United States and the United Kingdom as one can imagine. Suddenly Karaganov’s June 2023 nuclear posturing doesn’t seem so far-fetched. Russia is at a crossroads.”

In the short term, Russia needs to find a solution to the Flamingo threat to Votkinsk and other strategic defense industries located in the Ural regions that are now under threat of attack (a solid rocket motor production facility in Perm, for example.) Given the role played by Europe in designing, funding, and manufacturing the Flamingo, a response limited to striking targets inside Ukraine would achieve no fundamental change.

Mexico had a tough day yesterday. Chaos erupted across parts of Mexico, particularly in Jalisco, following the confirmed killing of CJNG leader Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias “El Mencho,” in a Mexican military operation. El Mencho, the elusive and long-sought head of the powerful Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), was fatally wounded during a raid in Tapalpa, Jalisco, and died while being airlifted to Mexico City, according to Mexico’s Secretary of National Defense (Sedena). He is well known as the last of the old guard. They’ve all been caught now, and a new crop is getting ready to take over. It is calm today after the cartel burnt cars and busses, closed roads, burnt local banks and stores. 29 people were killed – only one a civilian woman. The rest were cartel and various armed forces. According to the commentary and the press, there was all out war in Mexico, but the violence was contained in a very few states. I updated yesterday in the Hearty Salon. https://sovereignista.com/globalsouthforum/topic/chronicles-of-the-apocalypse-23-feb-2026/#post-77793

The US White House is trying to put themselves into the picture, but further in the video Sheinbaum says: NO US troops involved in op to kill El Mencho. ‘What we have is a lot of INFO exchange.’

US/Israel will definitely attack Iran. At least a limited strike will take place.

I feel this because of these protests in Tehran. They’re trying to use their useful idiots create internal disruption while attacking from the outside.

I have a very very low opinion of Scott Ritter. Whatever knowledge he has is ruined by his opinions, which always serve hegemon. Every single time he talks about Russia he wants Putin to do exactly what the Epstein Class want him to do. He is always *very* concerned about… Read more »

THE MACRO SCENE- general global chaos, can-kicking, and perpetual war orchestrated by the Western financial/military hegemony and its allies/colonies as they all desperately flail to retain power and relevance. Since the US began its great moral decline, which we might date from 1963, or perhaps the early 70’s when the US passed peak oil and began offshoring its industrial capacity…the process has become irretrievable, and Europe is probably just as weak and weakening day by day…and since the coup… Read more »
