Today, we find ourselves resisting the First War on BRICS in its various salients. We are in madness, in a strategy of chaos from the side of the empire who cannot fight but are singularly talented at fomenting chaos in order to swoop in, brutally kill, grab and gain benefit. The strategy of empire going forward will be one of denial of world development through chaos creation. Maria Zakharova named the immediate counter: “We have nothing to explain to the west”. The inexorable trend today is another denial. The west’s democratic rules based international order is becoming a laughing stock and is now well past its sell-by date.

Daily Chronicles features issues, small or large, that have the potential to change our world. The ceasefire negotiations in Gaza have effectively concluded, with agreement on all terms. Hamas’ representative in Lebanon, Ahmed Abdel Hadi, mentioned that:

for the first time, the negotiating delegation feels the mediators from the Zionist side are serious about reaching an agreement to end the aggression and the war of extermination. He stated that the ball is now in Netanyahu’s court, and he has the option to either obstruct the agreement or sign it, which would lead to a new phase focusing on permanent war cessation, comprehensive withdrawal, the return of displaced persons, and later addressing issues of relief, reconstruction, and shelter.

If we take Lebanon as our guide, zion is not adhering to the 60-day cessation of hostilities.  Let’s see what comes from this.  It is now in Netanyahu’s killer hands.  The US is pushing hard and that may be simply to deprive Trump from making peace, if he ever wanted to.  There is an open warfare in the US and this is faction against faction.  The story here looks like old-style organized crime mafia.  (Reread The Godfather.)  The same type of faction fighting is happening in the EU, with a refusal to approve Hungary’s budget for the new year and a raft of other small fights.  Everybody is picking at everybody.

Nevertheless the push for some change in Gaza (I don’t see evidence of the Palestinians but only Gaza), the Biden faction have notified Congress of an $8 billion arms sale to Israel amid its ongoing war on Gaza, U.S. media report. The package includes precision-guided munitions, warheads, artillery shells, and missiles, with most deliveries expected over time. Despite criticism over civilian casualties in Gaza, the deal is likely to pass Congress, where bipartisan support for Israel remains strong. Rights groups and international bodies have raised concerns about Israel’s genocide in Gaza and the destruction of Gaza’s healthcare system. As Israel’s siege on Gaza intensifies, over 45,000 Palestinians have been killed since October 2023.

Ten Ukrainian tanks destroyed in Kursk Region – Russian MOD

From the Russian MoD: In the course of active offensive operations, the Yug Group of Forces’ units completely liberated Kurakhovo – the largest settlement in the south-western part of Donbass.

In ten years, the Kiev regime has turned it into a powerful fortified area with a developed network of pillboxes and underground communications. It is secured by a reservoir to the north, which significantly limited the manoeuvring capabilities of the Russian assault units.

To defend the populated area, the enemy has pulled large forces, to include nationalists and foreign mercenaries’ detachments, strengthening them with artillery and tanks. These includes units of elite 79th air assault brigade and 46th airmobile brigade as well as 5th heavy brigade, 33rd and 157th mechanised brigades.

In total, the AFU command has concentrated 26 battalions with a total strength of over 15,000 troops to hold Kurakhovo.

As a result of professional actions of the Russian troops during the liberation of Kurakhovo, the enemy lost 80 per cent of its personnel (over 12,000 troops) and about 3,000 weapons and military hardware, to include 40 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles. During the two months of combat operations near Kurakhovo, the daily losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on average amounted to 150–180 servicemen killed and wounded.

Capturing this important logistics settlement has significantly complicated the logistics support of the AFU in Donetsk direction, depriving the Kiev regime of the ability of shelling peaceful residents of Donetsk, the capital of the Donetsk People’s Republic, with artillery systems.

After the capture of Kurakhovo, the Russian troops reached an operations space. This will increase the pace of liberation of the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Kiev again attempted to attack the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) and Energodar to create the threat of a man-made disaster, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported. On January 5, Ukrainian forces launched eight aircraft-type drones at the plant and the city—all of which were destroyed by air defense systems. One of the drones fell on the roof of the ZNPP’s training center, where it caught fire and exploded. There were no casualties at the plant, and the staff continues to work as usual, the ministry noted.

Gaza: During and after Syria, Gaza reporting disappeared to a great extent, excepting a few channels and a few people faithfully continued reporting. This reporting has now picked up again. I do not know what is the most important, the SMO in Ukraine or the blatant genocide in Gaza. Reaching the Russian objectives in Ukraine is of supreme importance for the establishment of a fairer and equitable world and getting rid of NATO, getting empire into their box. But a genocide in Gaza is most important firstly as an illustration of what the enemy is capable of, and secondly what we do about it, say about it and our personal acceptance, or not, of a state of genocide in our world.

Here is a plaintive cry from one of those sites that kept the faith and kept their eyes on Gaza, while there was a hope that the fall of Syria would quiet us, would give us something else to talk about.

🥀 When we went to bed, we heard of 3, 4, 10, or even 30 martyrs under the rubble in Gaza. Two youths shot and killed—one bled to death. This is a daily reality. We can’t share all the news. There is a human urge, a religious duty, to report even a single death. But here, the number of martyrs has tragically crossed 50,000. It hurts. It feels like a heavy burden. We’ve missed thousands. As of now, nearly 300,000 to 400,000 Gazans are dead, missing or dying. We don’t know much—but they are broken, shattered.

We’re receiving desperate messages—people asking for bread, just $10 or $20, someone pleading for a syringe for their mother. What should we do? We’re truly petrified.

Every second person seems trapped in this nightmare: some are being exploited, others are faking aid appeals, some are leaking locations as spies, and others are even supporting the oppressors.

Take it this way: what Gazans are enduring crossed human comprehension months ago. What can we do? At the very least, pray. And at best? Hate the real enemies as much as you can, and never, even unintentionally, support them. Let this be your prayer!

Very slowly countries are beginning to take their responsibility as outlined in the UN documents on genocide, seriously. A Brazilian court ordered police to investigate an Israeli soldier accused of war crimes in Gaza, after which the soldier reportedly fled Brazil, according to Hebrew media. Similar complaints against Israeli soldiers have also been filed in Argentina and Chile.

The genocide continues.  How can this world live with itself?

More than 90,000 tons of explosives have been dropped by Israel on the Gaza Strip since October 7th 2023.  This is the equivalent of almost six Hiroshima nuclear bombs & exceeding the entire combined bombing campaigns over Dresden, Hamburg, London and Tokyo in World War 2.

In stark contrast the IDF published the number of military casualties for 2023 – 2024:

• 891 soldiers killed since the beginning of the war (558 in 2023 and 363 in 2024).
• 5,569 soldiers wounded in the same period.
• Of the soldiers killed, 329 fell on October 7, 2023 in southern Israel.

As a start we cannot believe their numbers at all as nothing truthful comes from this regime ever.  Secondly, the 7th October incident is given space to breathe again, so that nobody forgets it and a big percentage of casualties is given to that event.  That number is unbelievable as well.  What is added here, but hidden and not said, is the number of IDF soldiers committing suicide.   28 soldiers from the IDF have committed suicide, including 16 reservists.

And while we are looking at numbers, these ones tell the story:  Washington sent Israel over $22 billion in military aid since Oct. 7, 2023.  Israel’s Hayom newspaper says the total revenues of Israel’s three major arms manufacturing companies rose by 15% following the onset of the genocide on Gaza, reaching $13.6 billion.  The report revealed that more than 10,000 tons of ammunition, worth $2.4 billion, were initially sent to Israel, with the amount growing fivefold to 50,000 tons by August 2024.  Additionally, Washington provided Israel with an array of advanced military equipment, including Iron Dome missiles, precision-guided bombs, CH-53 heavy-lift helicopters, AH-64 Apache attack helicopters, 155mm artillery shells, bunker-buster bombs, and armored vehicles.

Meanwhile, Israeli Channel 13 reported in late December that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would only approve a prisoner exchange or a ceasefire in Gaza if it came directly as a directive or clear order from the U.S. president.  This again leads to the question, who has the leash of this dog?  The US, or the zionists?  A better question though would be who is supplying the zionists with one pretext and one excuse after the other?

USA builds a new base in Syria

Syrian sources reported that the United States has begun building a new military base in the Ayn al-Arab area in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, northern Syria.

As always, we start with Gaza. I read this every morning.

Amid the West-backed Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed nearly 45,600 Palestinians so far, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

Franscesco Albanese is throwing herself heart and soul into the call for medical professionals to immediately cut ties with Israel.  She accuses Israel of enacting an ‘ongoing genocide’ & demands the IDF release renowned Palestinian doctor Hussam Abu Safia – allegedly held in a torture facility.

All is not well in Zion.  Hebrew media outlet Yedioth Ahronoth reports that the state of fatigue is worsening among Israeli soldiers due to the continuation of the war on several fronts and the army is suffering from a shortage of manpower after about 10,000 (questionable number) soldiers were injured and killed in the war.  (One war!  as Ukraine is suiciding itself by feeding its people to the meat grinder, there is clear evidence that this is now happening in Zion.  In addition, the warm and cosy relationship between Ukraine and the ‘new Syrian headchoppers leaders, and the relationship between zion and this self-same grouping, are forming one western front).  Kiev is interested in two things – jihadists who can be sent on a “business trip”, and weapons left by the government army.

Gazprom announced that all Russian gas transit through Ukraine ceased at 8:00 Moscow time on January 1, citing technical and legal reasons. (Yeah, the agreement was not renewed and some Chihuahua countries wanted gas without payment – as long as it is not ‘Russian Gas’.)  Slovak PM Robert Fico warned that halting gas transit through Ukraine would severely impact the European Union while Russia would remain unaffected.  (More European suicide!)  The ‘Balkan Stream’ is the last remaining pipeline to deliver Russian gas to Europe.  Europe will now fight one another.

In reality and economically, this is a brutal capitalistic privatization, where states are refusing to supply their citizens with affordable power and light.  This will have as effect that citizens will have to take care of their own, with private power provision.  Roll on generators (difficult without gas or oil), wind power where there is wind and solar, where there is sun.  This intersects with one war principle if one takes a look at Gaza where infants are freezing to death.
