Yemen is continuously sending missiles into the occupied areas in israel – mostly night attacks. Ferocious threats aplenty are streaming in from israeli authorities and Yemen responds equally ferociously. Yemen gets bombed and they respond ferociously. Yesterday 2 million israelis fled to shelters with injuries reported during the stampede.

The killing of Gaza and all who lives in it continues daily. A child is killed every 10 minutes. People in so-called safe zones or in refugee camps are attacked daily. Gazans are being burnt alive and starved to death. The process to take the West Bank continues daily. The Greater Israel project continues daily. The resistance continues daily as well.

GAZA:

The Israeli military has, for the first time, acknowledged that it was behind the killing of former Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh, in the Iranian capital Tehran in July. They are proud of their killing of the defenseless. Israeli military cannot any longer go on leave to other countries. They get picked up and taken to court.

Question:  Did you know anything about Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tartarstan, before the 2004 BRICS summit took place there?  Kazan is situated some 1,379 kilometers (857 miles) away from Ukraine.

Trump to EU: Buy American Oil & Gas or Face Tariffs

The EU “must make up their tremendous deficit with the U.S. by the large-scale purchase of our oil and gas. Otherwise, it is TARIFFS all the way!” declared President-elect Donald Trump, in a no-nonsense demand that underscores the future transatlantic power dynamic.

❗️Trump’s statement is pure mafia-style diplomacy, a shakedown delivered with the flair of a seasoned operator. He knows exactly how servile Europe has become—kneecapped by its own disastrous sanctions on Russian energy and desperate to keep the lights on. By dangling the carrot of American LNG and the stick of tariffs, he’s saying the quiet part out loud: Europe is nothing more than a cash cow to feed the empire’s coffers. This isn’t negotiation, it’s extortion wrapped in the red, white, and blue, and the EU’s technocrats are left nodding along, afraid to admit how deep in the game they are.

And if European countries do not do this, they are slated for regime change.  In fact, the most major countries in Europe are regime-changing themselves.   This may make a difference for them against Trump’s demands.  I am convinced that the relationship, the US/Canada will change and Canada will become an erstwhile US State – if not legally, then in the definition.  I am fearful for Mexico, as Trump wants it!  Can you imagine?  I took it without firing a shot!  We have their agriculture and we’re taking the oil.  Latin America is under deep pressure from the US.

The Europeans have NATO on the one hand, demanding a 5% contribution to that ‘peaceful’ organization, and the US on the other, demanding oil and gas purchases at prices that they cannot afford.  What is Europe going to look like?  To be a friend of America is fatal, said Kissinger.  Can you even imagine Russia starts demanding that any grouping must buy their oil and gas?   And then the all-in Trumpers are all into the meme that Trump ran on a peace ticket, and that he is interested in domestic affairs and not international affairs.  I have no sympathy for the Europeans – they walked into this with their eyes wide open.  The surprise was the tremendous nazi influence and hatred of other, that few of us knew was still so pervasive.  The bottom line here still is the control and division of Russia.

The reality is this and the reporting is now so broadly out there, that one can quibble the numbers but the trend stays:

Imports of Russian liquefied natural gas to the European Union this year reached a record of 16.5 million tons as of mid–December, despite the EU’s attempts to get rid of dependence on Russian gas.  Data from Kpler, a trade analytics company, writes that current imports exceed last year’s, which was at 15.18 million tons, and beat the previous record set in 2022. At that time, the EU imported 15.21 million tons of LNG from Russia.

On 18 December 2024, the AFU launched a missile strike at the Kombinat Kamensky enterprise in Rostov region by six U.S.-made ATACMS operational-tactical missiles and four Storm Shadow air-based cruise missiles from the territory of Ukraine.

This morning, in response to the actions of the Kiev regime supported by Western countries, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation delivered a group strike by long-range precision weaponry at a command post of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Luch Design Bureau, which develops and manufactures Neptune missile systems and Olkha MLRS ground-based cruise missiles, as well as hit positions of a Patriot SAM system.

Erdogan Calls for Islamic World to Isolate Israel Over Regional Aggression

Speaking at the D-8 summit in Cairo, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan urged Islamic nations to lead the charge in isolating Israel for its destabilizing actions across the region:

“I believe we must take a stronger stance against Israel’s illegal actions that threaten the stability of Syria and our entire region. As Islamic countries, we must lead the efforts to take action against Israel. First and foremost, it is crucial to impose an arms embargo on the country and halt trade with it.”

Erdogan also highlighted Turkey’s earlier UN initiative to impose an arms embargo on Israel, which was supported by 52 countries and two international organizations.

A bold speech or just more theater? Erdogan’s “stance” against Israel rings hollow when pipelines, resource looting, and the shared agenda to destabilize Syria through Al-Qaeda terrorists like HTS tell a different story. The so-called isolation is a convenient narrative, but behind closed doors, Ankara and Tel Aviv are far from enemies when it comes to their mutual imperial ambitions.

From Yemen and the Red Sea: Massive explosions are being heard in the Red Sea, with reports of naval clashes and extensive attacks carried out by the armed forces of the Sana’a government against the aircraft carrier and several American destroyers. A fire broke out on the American aircraft carrier after it was targeted by a large number of missiles and submarines from Yemen in the Red Sea.

Nicaragua:  Perhaps this time their shipping canal connecting the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific, will become a reality.

Nicaragua has invited Russia to participate in the construction of a canal that will connect the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean, an important trade route for the global economy. This was stated by the special representative of the Nicaraguan president for cooperation with the Russian Federation, Murillo.

Currently, this role belongs to the Panama Canal. The Nicaraguan Canal construction project began in 2012, but encountered delays, initially due to US intervention under the pretext of “environmental” agreements, and then due to problems with investors. Now Nicaragua is once again calling on Russia and China to cooperate in the new geopolitical conditions.

Previously in this Daily Chronicles I stated that Venezuela, Cuba, and any of three more countries in the Latin Americas will be slated for regime change in the new year.  Now we can list those as Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua, as a start.

Russia detained a suspect for the killing of General Kirillov.  According to investigators, the suspect was detained in Moscow Region and is a citizen of Uzbekistan.   He was recruited by Ukrainian intelligence and traveled to Moscow to carry out the attack.  The salary offered for this killing was 100,000 dollars and a new home somewhere in Europe.

Harsh retribution will follow. Medvedev called for the decapitation of the military and political leadership of Ukraine, who ordered the assassination of General Kirillov.  “Everything must be done to destroy those behind Kirillov’s murder. They are well known – they are the military and political leadership of Ukraine,” Medvedev said.

Now that the electoral college has confirmed Trump’s election to the Presidency, he is more vocal.  He and his current coterie talk about an end to the war between Russian and Ukraine and apparently, Trump’s envoy will be visiting Ukraine quickly, on a ‘fact-finding’ mission.  Trump stated he ‘wants to talk to Putin’.  Dmitry Peskov said that he is not in the White House yet.  Trump also stated that the events in Syria were an “unfriendly takeover” by Turkiye.

The one word that does not pass his lips, is genocide in Gaza. (God’s Chosen People has him mesmerized).

There are some muted reports on a peace agreement/cease fire/something with no form, between israel and Hamas.  It is early days and we do not know what is true and what not.  In the mean time, israel is war profiteering and taking just what they like to take in Syria.  The cease fire agreement for Lebanon is not yet a sign to Netanyahu to cease fire.  They shoot and attack as they like.  israel is the main terrorist force for the US now.

First for Trump, is Canada.  “No one can answer why we subsidize Canada to the tune of over $100,000,000 a year? Makes no sense! Many Canadians want Canada to become the 51st State. They would save massively on taxes and military protection. I think it is a great idea. 51st State!!!”  He also wants Mexico.  Also first, is Venezuela, Cuba and then the third in this list may be any of a few, Nicaragua for sure.  We’ve spoken about an expectation that in the new year, the free world in Latin America will have to harden itself against a full-spectrum attack from the empire.

While many of us are still gutted and sad about Syria, we need to know that the Syria that we cry for, is over.  Yet, the bloodletting is not over.

The events in Syria ripped the masks off this war, its shape, and its war methodology.  We are in the throes of One War, an Omniwar, a new Full Spectrum Dominance from a falling empire, with one objective: weaponizing everything and retaining the Empire Crown, no matter the cost.  When an empire falls, one cannot make an agreement with it. An empire in the phase of falling can only resist its own fall by becoming more brutal and use more brutal tactics to keep the status quo for itself intact.  A different figurehead is but a temporary phenomenon as the operations and philosophy of empire are systemic.

If you have not listened to the interview or read the transcript from the last interview of Michael Hudson and Richard Wolff on ‘controlled anarchy’ yet, please do so.  I have said for about two years now that this war is a war of creating chaos.  How to recognize it, is to look at where the chaos is.  The events and fall of Syria are much bigger than those of Syria alone and much bigger than those of the region.  Michael Hudson summarizes:

• The United States says, “We are ending up with total war with Russia and with China.”
• Russia is saying, “We hope that there’s peace in the Near East.”
• China is saying, “We want peace. We don’t want war.”
• I don’t understand why they’re saying this. Why don’t they say, “We realize this is a war to the death?”

In reality, the race is between the growth of the free world and the fall of empire.  Can you answer Michael’s question?
