Earlier today the NYT reported that Biden Admin gave permission for long-range strikes into Russia .. This is usually quoted as Army Tactical Missile System, supersonic tactical ballistic missiles – ATACMS. One source does not do the trick. Reuters now carries a similar report and they quote ‘sources’. We’ve not heard from the White House or any other formal source. The Russian English media has reported and so has a flock of US Trump supporters, Trump Jr who said the military industrial complex is trying to get his dad into WW3, and Taylor-Greene and others. Britian and France are hot to trot as well. Ria Novosti reports on French Le Figaro who carried the same report, saying that France and Britian gave permission for Ukraine to use long range missiles, Scalps and Storm Shadows.

Reuters claims the decision was made based on still yet-to-be verified claims of North Korean troops inside Russia, not Ukraine.

Biden had a press conference (looks like still in Peru today) and ignored the question. The Pentagon has apparently declined to comment.

Just a scant few weeks ago Putin said that it would be war and explained why. Ukraine does not have the targeting ability or intelligence and would need European and US satellites. Neither does Ukraine have the ability to fly such a missile, therefore it would be war with NATO, US, Europe.
