While this seems like a quiet news day so far, we watch the creeping increase in scope and size of Nato’s war, even outside of Ukraine and keep asking the question:  Where will this end?  There are ‘small explosions’ everywhere.  The latest is again Serbia and the breakaway Kosovo.   Russia condemns provocative anti-Serb actions by Pristina that bring the situation close to a hot phase, Foreign Ministry says.

RIA Novosti: the ship “Ivan Khurs” was attacked by Western-made drones

The unmanned boats with which Kiev tried to attack the ship of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation “Ivan Khurs” were created in the West. Dmitry Medvedev:

Now is the time to say how Ukraine will disappear, as well as what is the risk of renewed conflict in Europe and in the world.

This will depend on which path the process of disintegration of this dying state will follow as a result of a lost military conflict. There are two of them. Or the path of relatively slow erosion of Ukrainian statehood with the gradual loss of the remaining elements of state sovereignty. Or the path of its instant collapse with the simultaneous annihilation of all signs of statehood. In any case, after such a collapse, three scenarios are likely.

First. The western regions of Ukraine are coming under the control of a number of EU states with the subsequent “Anschluss” of these lands by the recipient states. At the same time, a certain “no man’s” Ukrainian territory will remain, which is squeezed between Russia and the lands that have come under the sovereignty of a number of European countries. The remaining ownerless territory announces its succession from the former Ukraine, its international legal personality and its intention to return the lost lands by all means. Naturally, meaning only those lands that became part of Russia. At the same time, this “new” Ukraine immediately declares its desire to join the European Union and NATO, which is happening in the medium term. The armed conflict resumes after a short time, turning into a permanent one, but with the threat of its rapid spillover into a full-fledged third world war.

Second. Ukraine disappears after the completion of the SMO in the process of its division between Russia and a number of EU states. The government of Ukraine is being formed in exile in one of the European countries. The conflict ends with reasonable guarantees of its non-resumption in the near future, but with the preservation of the terrorist activity of the Ukrainian Nazis, who will be dispersed on the territory of the EU states that received Western Ukrainian lands. The risk of the resumption of a full-fledged conflict or its escalation into a world war in this case can be considered moderate.

Third. The same thing happens as in the first case, but with the opposite sign. Western lands of Ukraine join a number of EU countries. The people of the central and some other ownerless regions of Ukraine within the framework of Art. 1 of the UN Charter immediately declare their self-determination by joining the Russian Federation. This request is granted, and the conflict ends with sufficient guarantees of its non-recurrence in the long term.

There are simply no other options. And this is already clear to everyone, even if it is unpleasant for someone in the West to admit it.

Russia eventually ripped the curtain down and denounced the treaty that mainly established security in Europe.  From Maria Zakharova:

Russia is denouncing the document signed in 1990 between the countries of the Warsaw Pact and NATO on the balance of the two blocs and the limitation of armaments along the line of contact. NATO has brazenly advanced towards the Russian borders, having already carried out 9 waves of expansion of its military bloc, including our neighbor Finland.
Under these conditions, the denunciation became simply a necessary measure that threw off false covers and exposed reality. To put it bluntly, she’s intimidating!

What it means in reality is that I cannot think of another treaty, another agreement that legally stands between Russia and a wider war.  Then we have Mr.Shoigu yesterday saying that:

Western nations have basically been waging an undeclared war against Moscow and Minsk, according to Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, who was speaking on Thursday with his Belarusian colleague Viktor Khrenin. Sergei Shoigu stated, ‘Today we are facing the collective West, which is virtually waging war against our countries’.

He stated that ‘the NATO’s military activities have become as aggressive as possible’. ‘The joint armed forces of the alliance in Eastern Europe are being made more combat-ready through the implementation of a number of initiatives. The deployment of more military personnel and facilities, as well as an increase in training and reconnaissance operations close to the Union State’s frontiers,’ said the head of the Russian military department.

I leave you to draw your own conclusion from this.  What it means to me, is that the possibility of a wider war is now measured in probability percentage.  The Mearsheimer video posted yesterday, tells us about the inability of NATO now to de-escalate.  In addition, another new missile is unveiled in Russia.  No doubt, Andrei Martyanov will tell us about it.

We have confirmation:  The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, suffered a head injury and shrapnel wounds as a result of a Russian missile strike on a command post near Kherson in early May, a security source told RIA Novosti

Synchronization. Russian Prime Minister Mishustin is visiting China for a long visit.  This is the economic bloc of the Russian government together with the economic bloc of the Chinese government.  The focus is the resolution and problem-solving of how to trade around US and EU sanctions.

There are 42 working groups here, with 5 overall supergroups, working under direct ministerial guidance.  This is huge and the synchronization out of this will be huge.

The MoD report:

◽️The Kiev regime, defeated in Artyomovsk, started to carry out terrorist actions against civilians.

◽️On 22 May this year, after the intense shelling of Kozinka international checkpoint, as well as a number of other civilian facilities in Grayvoron district of Belgorod region, a unit of a Ukrainian nationalist formation entered the territory of the Russian Federation.

◽️In the course of the counter-terrorist operation, as a result of air strikes, artillery fire and active action by the units of the Western Military District that covered the state border, the nationalist formations have been blocked and destroyed.
The remaining nationalists were pushed back into Ukraine, where they continued to be hit until they have been completely eliminated.

💥The enemy losses were over 70 Ukrainian terrorists, 4 armoured fighting vehicles and 5 pickup trucks.

Despite this, there are reports of further gunfire.

Brian Berletic commented:  The optics of US armored vehicles with Nazi Germany Wehrmacht crosses on them crossing into Russian territory to kill Russians only lends further political capital to Moscow for additional mobilization of Russian society, industry, and economics.  It helps shake people in both Russia and abroad off the fence and into the realization that there can be no future for a NATO-ized Ukraine.

Remember the peace train? Lula da Silva has hooked his car and is asking for UN meetings to be specially called for discussing peace.  He says he has not been invited to even one UN meeting to talk peace.  Lula, I wish you all the best.  Probably the best you can do, is to relieve all the other summits and conversations from being pirated by a puppet called Zelensky.  It pains me but I have to award you 2 out of 10 in terms of viability.

Has nobody briefed you that Russia talked real and lasting peace before the SMO already?  Has nobody briefed you about at least two conniving double-crosses against Russia? One, NATO move to the East, and two, the Minsk package of measures. Who would you like Russia to actually speak to? Has nobody briefed you that there was a peace process, and it was scuttled by no less than the UK?  Has nobody briefed you that you can go to the UN, and you will find many conversations and you could try and change one to peace.  Has nobody briefed you that peace is a nightmare for the collective west and they do not want peace?  This is the requirement for peace – denazification, demilitarization and NATO to move back.  No more and no less and the rest is detail.
